Riley returned to the Sahara base despite her dislike of the sand, and the weather, and the overall area. This time, there were other Hunters fighting when she arrived, and she entered the fray almost immediately. This was better than the almost abandoned base she'd found the first time she'd come here, so she felt a lot more confident about making it through this battle with others fighting around her on her side.
One particular horseman, a short male with hooked horns, looked like he was coming straight for her. She supposed this would be her dance partner for the day.

She summoned Andeon into her hands and ducked behind a corner, listening to the tapping of the running horseman's feet clopping against the pavement. It stopped just before it got to her, as it knew exactly what she was doing - Except it really didn't. Riley's whips snaked out and landed several hits in succession from behind, where she'd snuck up and landed them against the horseman's back. He was on his knees in seconds. Another set of strikes, quick and deadly, took the Horseman down with a violent dissipation. She could see him trying to scream, seconds before his body had no cohesion left with which to make sounds with. Andeon stayed summoned in defense mode, as she looked to see if there was anyone in the base who could use some help now that she'd fought her little battle. It looked like the rest of the base was also cleaning up their own messes, as well. She desummoned Andeon, putting him away against her side and looking for the nearest Base Lead.
