Riley was covered from head to toe, including most of her face, and yet she could still feel sand in all sorts of places that shouldn't have been exposed to sand. It was truly frustrating, how easily sand got wherever it wanted to be. The wind whipped at her body, pelting her with more of the find, grainy mist, and she trudged her way into the camp as soon as possible just to give herself a chance to get out of that sandstorm.
She took her scarf off, and breathed.
The base itself should have been bustling, but it seemed fairly abandoned. This might have been due to the fact a Horseman was attacking it at that very moment..
She had great timing.

Andeon was summoned immediately, swung from both hands as she came lunghing for the horseman. She struck, whipping it against the face and back and listening to it howl. Quote: Swift Strikes Damage: 11 Riley HP: 55/60 Horseman HP: 19/30

Another whip came for the Horseman, this one bringing it down to its knees. Even as it lashed out to attack her, she could tell she'd all but killed it in that blow. Quote: Swift Strikes Damage: 10 Riley HP: 50/60 Horseman HP: 1

She'd eliminated the threat, and set to work on finding the rest of the Hunters who were supposed to be watching over the base.
For a moment, when the winds quieted enough to let her hear outside, she heard something - a faint bellow, like the sound of a giant monster far away.
When she listened for it again, only the wind and sand beating on the base walls could be heard. It must have been nothing. She shrugged, and got back to work.
