Checking up on other hunter bases was a important task, one that Paige took seriously. The only problem being that some bases were harder then others, with the Sahara being the hardest. Also it was really ******** hot. Heat was good, but she liked having water to drink too, and there was so much sand.
Oh yeah, and the horsemen too.
The sun hunter stood in the blistering heat, arms folded and just wanting to bail when she spied moving shapes in the sand. They looked like -
She moved just as a famine scythe struck where she was. It appeared she would be smashing some heads in today.

The horsemen weren't that strong, being famine, but they were hardy pains in the a** who knew the area, experts at hiding behind sand dunes and blending in.
It was hard to find them, leaving Paige to swung her sword and find nothing there. She turned, then found a sword striking at her left.
"s**t!" She stumbled backwards, narrowly missing her eye being gouged out.

She ducked low, missing another strike and striking forward with a powerful swing, doing serious damage to one of the horsemen.
Too bad the others picked up the slack.

One jumped her behind, but she was ready for it, spinning around and slicing the horseman in half.
She watched it dissipate before turning her direction to the remaining one.

She jumped forward, leaping of a sand dune and bringing her weapon down upon the last horseman's head.
