[ JOB LISTING ] Inventory Manager [ DIFFICULTY LEVEL ] gaia_stargaia_stargaia_star [ TASK ] Monitor and list all incoming and outgoing inventory.
"Okay, look," the manager seems very irritated. "We just had two trucks come in and drop off their goods. Our current help mixed the boxes up."
He hands you a clip-board. "I need you to check each box's invoice and decide where it goes. If the invoice says 'Cavalry' you just put an X here," he points to the bottom left corner of the paper, "and have those idiots stack it over there. Don't actually count Cavalry boxes in the total number of boxes on the form. If it says anything else on the box, I need you to open it and make sure the invoice matches. Fill out your report when you're done."
Roll 8 d4: These are the boxes, and there are 8 of them. For each box follow the instructions below and RP accordingly. --If you roll doubles, it means you have two of that particular box and need to follow it's instructions twice. Same with triples, etc.
This box says it holds one complete silver dinner set. Roll 1 d10 to see what's missing. -----If you roll a: -------1. Everything is there. -------2. It is missing the gravy boat. -------3. Two spoons are no where to be found. -------4. One serving platter is listed, but not in the box. -------5. Three forks have magically disappeared. -------6. One spoon and on butter knife are missing. -------7. Everything is there. -------8. Two plates are missing. -------9. There are NO forks in this set. WHAT?! -------10. Everything is there, but the large serving platter has a huge gouge on it. Best make a note.
This box is supposed to hold on large grandfather clock. Best check for damages. Roll 1 d6. If even it's in perfect condition. If odd the glass on the front is broken. You had better make a note.
Three large tapestries from the year 1400. Roll 1 d4. If you roll a 1 or 2, one tapestry is missing. If you roll a 3, they all have water damage. If you roll a 4, everything looks good!
This box is labeled "Cavalry". No need to check the contents, simply RP ordering the part-timers to stack it in the corner.
When you are done checking all 8 boxes, fill out the form below and post it in your last post.
"Thank you," the manager says as you hand over your form.

Monitoring inventory for a horsemen shell company honestly sounded like the perfect way to keep tabs on them. He could find out what they were actively trafficking and report back to the Hunters, which sounded like a win to him.
He didn't really like the tedium of inventory taking, but he would do it if it meant the Hunters would have more knowledge about the Horsemen. He just probably wouldn't want to do this job particularly often.
But he would today. He grabbed his clip board and noted what each box was as it came through. As the horsewoman had told him, he immediately didn't bother marking down the two boxes that came in labeled as 'Cavalry,' but that didn't stop his curiosity. Instead, he waited until no one was looking and took a peek inside the boxes.
He wasn't thrilled with what he found, but it wasn't exactly unexpected. It mostly seemed to be cruel weaponry, not really befitting of a cavalry but perhaps of a war force. He scrunched his nose, pushing the boxes aside and telling some people to go put them in the proper spot.
Now he just needed to look at what else they got. Not that hard.

It looked like there were two boxes that claimed they were silver dinner sets. He would have to open them up to see if they were complete sets, and note down anything they were missing. Easy enough.
As he went through the list of expected parts for the first box, he was perhaps not so pleased to find that the set was entirely in tact and present. Part of him would have loved to make sure that the Horsemen didn't get what they want. At the same time, these were human artifacts, so perhaps he should just let this one go. It would go to a good collector's home, hopefully.
The second silver dinner set was similarly all present, but it wasn't entirely in tact. With a small tsk, Ignacio noted that the platter was dented.

There was another box contacting a singular grandfather clock.
With a bit of effort, Ignacio got the box open so he could make a quick assessment. Perhaps sadly, this too was perfectly fine. In fact, it was in excellent condition. Could he just take this?
Admittedly, he'd probably have trouble sneaking a grandfather clock out. If he was going to sneak something out, he'd best find something else. Preferably not so big and perhaps a bit easier to stuff in the pocket of his pants. He wasn't sure where he thought he could hide a grandfather clock where it would be inconspicuous, but it definitely wasn't possible with what he had on him...

Finally, he was faced with three boxes each containing three very old tapestries. From 1400, the box claimed. That was definitely old. Maybe he could sneak one of these out--
No, these were also too big. Unless he was going to steal a piece of silver silverware, there was likely nothing he would be able to take back home from the antiquity shop from the Horsemen. No matter. He needed to check to see if these tapestries were okay.
The first box was, for some reason, only containing two tapestries. That was unfortunate. Maybe someone had the same idea as he did and had an actual truck to take them away in. He noted it down, nevertheless, and moved on to the next box.
The next box had nothing wrong with it. There were three tapestries present, thankfully, and there were no issues present with any of the tapestries either. Happily, he noted that down and moved on to the final box.
Which was also missing a tapestry.
How?
He sighed, resolving to figure out how he was going to remove a tapestry for himself in a future run, and wrote it down.
