To be honest, since this was her third time at the Scotland base, she did not expect things the day to pass without at least one fight. The horseman appeared, and Riley was sure that she was still dealing with one of her own again.

It only took one more hit to knock the Horseman out.
When she stood in front of it, and waited for the mirage to disappear, she realized - very quickly - that this time was no illusion.

Once she'd done her duty, she was left alone, with the mirrors that showed her those same faces once more.
It almost felt like a welcome distraction from actually fighting. She rubbed her sore side and stood in front of the mirror, trying to catch details this time. The mirror did not provide.
2: You hear a voice saying something about promises. The room becomes covered in mirrors. Behind the mirrors you see faces of everyone deceased you know - including yourself behind the mirror.

Nothing stood out to her. Her father, her grandfather, her brother, herself - there was nothing unique about the images, now.
They felt like old family photographs.
