[ TASK ]
The task of a software developer within Horse is far more varied than in most larger companies, within Horse people cross-dabble in any number of different disciplines and the result is shared with the whole of the clans to further their aims.

You will have to work on the lowest level of these tasks, helping to develop of uncover new software quirks.

[ MECHANICS ]
Roll 1d6 twice, each roll is half the day.

- Accidentally you upload a file wrong and delete one of the important directories used by the programmers, it has to be restored by a backup.
- You find a way to use the more tech oriented famine insects to carry spy devices into formerly difficult to reach places using a programmable device.
- You spend all day helping to set up a large bot net for an attack by another division.
- You help to develop one of the major projects going on at the HQ and it all goes nice and well.
- You write a huge swathe of code using the helper program but somewhere in the 5000 lines is an unclosed tag which you must find.
- Tyr stops by and helps you solve a problem that was causing hassle before swanning off again in his usual way.

Zana was ... okay with technology.

She was familiar with how to make programs work for her general purposes, but she wasn't exactly an expert on how to design said programs. The idea that she was going to have to sit there and come up with code for programs for the horsemen sounded daunting, at the very least. She didn't exactly want to help them out, because they were horsemen, but by the same token, she didn't want to mess up too badly because they were horsemen and she very much was not.

But there she was, staring at some code for a device.

And some famine insects.

Zana shuddered. Those insects for some reason looked particularly gross. Why did the Famine Horsemen like bugs so much? She would never understand it...

But the Horsemen were beyond understanding in a lot of ways. The reason why she was there was to get a better idea of why they worked the way they worked, and honestly, it seemed like figuring out what they coded and why would give them at least some insight. Right? She lifted up one of the devices, looking at it on one side and then another as if it would give her an answer. Seeing as she wasn't a hardware expert, it didn't, but then she looked over at the bugs. Hm...

Within a couple hours, she had managed to rig one of the pieces of hardware onto the insects. It seemed a lot less inclined to just go creeping and crawling, which was enough for Zana if she was going to have to sit in these offices all day. Yeech.

Zana kept writing code as expected now that the nasty bugs were tamed.

There seemed to be a program on here that made program writing a bit easier. Should she just use that? It seemed like a good way to look like she was doing work here without actually doing anything else for the horsemen. She set the program up and let it start running, inputting what she needed to as directed by the program.

Unfortunately, she found when she stopped the program and tried to run it, it didn't actually ... run.

... Dammit.

Zana pulled up the errors, attempting to interpret what was happening in the code. It took her a while to actually understand what it was saying, but it looked like it was outright unable to compile. Why was it failing to compile? Why wouldn't it just run--

A bracket.

She was missing a bracket.

The horror was visible on her face. Did that mean she had to scrape through all of these lines of code to actually -- oh gosh. She didn't want to do that. Maybe there was something in the error message that would give her a hint as to where the code error was -- oh, there it was! In relief, Zana took the line given in the compilation error and entered it into the search, closing up the bracket. There. Now would it run?

She pressed the Run button again and was relieved to find it actually worked this time. Now maybe she could look through this code and figure out what it was doing so she could actually get some information for the Hunters...
