[ TASK ]
The task of a software developer within Horse is far more varied than in most larger companies, within Horse people cross-dabble in any number of different disciplines and the result is shared with the whole of the clans to further their aims.

You will have to work on the lowest level of these tasks, helping to develop of uncover new software quirks.

[ MECHANICS ]
Roll 1d6 twice, each roll is half the day.

- Accidentally you upload a file wrong and delete one of the important directories used by the programmers, it has to be restored by a backup.
- You find a way to use the more tech oriented famine insects to carry spy devices into formerly difficult to reach places using a programmable device.
- You spend all day helping to set up a large bot net for an attack by another division.
- You help to develop one of the major projects going on at the HQ and it all goes nice and well.
- You write a huge swathe of code using the helper program but somewhere in the 5000 lines is an unclosed tag which you must find.
- Tyr stops by and helps you solve a problem that was causing hassle before swanning off again in his usual way.

Honestly, Ignacio wasn't sure what he had been expecting.

Perhaps he had expected the Horsemen to be less ... typical? Big software development firms weren't exactly new to him. After all, before he was a Hunter, he grew up as a normal young person surrounded by normal internet and normal technology. Software development was part of his world.

And yet, despite that, he was sitting at a desk, typing out computer code like he was back in his Intro to Computer Science class. It felt odd.

Still, he wasn't bad at this. He had a basic memory of what he was supposed to be doing, and while it wasn't Runic Code, being a Mist Hunter meant that he had some basic familiarity with the coding that the Life Hunters were up to. There was no way he would mess this up.

That was, before he casually uploaded a file and drew a lot of attention to himself by completely wiping out an important directory. Oops. Drawing attention to himself was not what he was supposed to be doing on an infiltration mission, but he definitely got an earful about it, telling him how he could have destroyed everything they had been working on for years and if they had half a mind, he would be fired immediately.

But of course he was lucky, because they had a back up like any good developer should have.

That allowed the situation to blow over, thankfully. He should just keep his head down for the rest of the day so he could actually take more observations.

Keeping his head down meant blending in, and blending in meant actually trying to do work for this company, as wrong as it felt to be helping out people he knew were actually horsemen.

Though, he wasn't sure if everyone at the company was a horseman. Maybe that was one of the things he should have worked on figuring out while he was there, developing code like a faithful little coder monkey.

But since he was there to do research and therefore he was there to blend in, Ignacio jumped at the opportunity to help out with a major project the development firm was working on. This gave him a chance to look at the kind of code these people worked with, and more importantly, what they were actually working on, which was no doubt valuable information for the Hunters back at home.

While he wasn't able to obviously write things down, when none of the other developers were paying attention, Ignacio took out his phone and took various notes, along with taking a few pictures of the code in front of him. As soon as he was looked at, he went back to work and faithfully wrote his part of the code well and successfully.

In the end, it worked, and Ignacio kept himself from being noticed any further that day. And, as a bonus, he was fairly sure he had some good information to work with now.
