gaia_crown Attack Base Location - The Sahara (one of multiple bases)
Description - The most unforgiving of all the bases, and considered a horseman stronghold, the Sahara boasts unfavorable sand, winds, and horsemen that threaten to kill you on sight.
Bonuses: Sun Hunters here get a bonus. When attacking the mob, their dice modifier is -4 instead of -6. Mist Hunters roll 1d4. If even they can copycat this bonus.
Mechanic: Roll 1d6. If 1, your guarding the base goes smoothly (rp it out = success!). Otherwise, you spawn a horseman mob. It has a cumulative 30/30 HP (+10 for EACH ADDITIONAL CHARACTER IN THE RP) and does -5 auto damage to each character in that thread that attacks it. Your goal is to destroy the horsemen before it destroys you!
RARE SPAWN: If you down a horseman, roll 1d100. If higher than 90 you may spot an unusual colossus of a creature that begins to chase after you - it is massive, easily over 100 feet and shaped like a huge goliath, sand streaming out of it every step it takes. You cannot defeat it as it slowly begins to move after you. You will need to escape - when you do, collect a bonus +5 arcana and +25 currency for surviving this!

He was given a new base to guard. After his performance in Las Vegas, Pedro felt like this was a way for him to atone. Trial by fire, baptism by fire, they felt the same to the Mist Hunter.

And like his time in Las Vegas, Horsemen emerged to attack. Pedro knew their danger increased drastically here in the Sahara but he wasn't going to run.

The first strike came out of nowhere, knocking Pedro off balance and unable to retaliate because of the shifting sands.
The mockery from the Horseman proved too much for Pedro. A raw nerve was touch and with a roar that matched the desert wind's, he smashed his club down onto the Horseman.

In his fury, Pedro finally managed to bring the Horseman to and end. Though he knew it was only a temporary end. He wasn't going to let this put him off his victory.
