Description - In an abandoned manor is a Hunter site that has seen better days. Horsemen invade it, but worse than the horsemen are the voices that linger. They say those who stay too long here slowly go mad.
Bonuses: Life Hunters here get a bonus. They may choose to reroll their roll once. Mist Hunters roll 1d4. If even they can copycat this bonus.
Mechanic: Roll 1d4. Match your dice roll to the result below. You must do this 3 times to survive this camp.
1: You begin to hear voices that reach maddening whispers! You begin to see a threat - a horseman perhaps! It has 10/10 HP and you must defeat it to break the illusion. If you are rping alone, you strike a Hunter that gets KO'ed by you, if you are rping with a buddy, you hit them for 10 damage.
2: You hear a voice saying something about promises. The room becomes covered in mirrors. Behind the mirrors you see faces of everyone deceased you know - including yourself behind the mirror.
3. A horseman attacks you! It has 20/20 HP and only you must defeat it alone. It does -10 damage each hit to you.
4. Something strikes out and hits you. It looks like a massive shadow, some sort of shape, it looks a little like you, but as a horseman for some reason. You strike out at the shadow and lose half your HP.

If he was going to be doing missions on the mainland, investigating and infiltrating into suspicious businesses that perhaps front for weird Horsemen operations then Sheldon figured he might as well go the extra mile and partake in a brief base related mission.
Though for some reason he felt a certain calling to the Sahara base (he couldn't explain it), the one located in one of many Scotland's scenic locations was what he had chosen. It seemed oddly a little easier to handle and also a little intriguing to his slightly more scientific mind. There was a haunted manor apparently. As some other Hunters lived to tell the tale.
Couldn't be that awful, the Lifer had concluded upon as an assumption as he stared up at the base that had seen better days. Amber eyes slowly shifted upon key points of the large building, the few gaps in the walls and the missing bits of roof. As well as the horridly kept landscape around that had both dying trees as well as overgrown scrubs and grass.
Silently he glided on in to see what awaited him, aside from a few other Hunters who would try to engage him in conversation and instantly fail. If he was going to brave this, he was going to go find the most cozy place to nap.

The floor beneath his worn boots creaked with every step. It seemed something natural an old building such as this would have possessed but if he was meant to get around a little more unseen - as Horsemen were apparently frequent visitors - even he knew it wasn't going to go well.
He was making himself a target. Which, exactly happened. Something caught him from behind, knocking the wind out of him. He caught himself on the stairs he had been climbing harder than he wanted to. Sheldon coughed but did not get up and simply turned around to see if he could see what had struck him.
It had apparently stuck around, maybe to taunt him (maybe it too was lazy? haha, why did he get that feeling?) Its shadowed form hovered above him with large translucent wings, torn and mangled. Parts of it seemed to jingle and buzz at the same time. It was hard to make out but he could see the multiple layers of its dress. Like him. So odd.
Sheldon wheezed, summoned his rope dart and tried to strike it - maybe to simply just go away.
But the weapon missed its mark, pulling back with a force he hadn't considered were possible.
What the hell Digg?
The shadow, at least, was gone.

That ordeal done, at least for now and his body just a little beaten up without his liking.
Sheldon kept going up the stairs.
The first room he found almost reminded him of Harry Potter. When he found a single room with a single totally not strange mirror in it. Because that's what he found but instead of showing him something promising and the deepest thing he wanted in all his heart. It showed him nothing but death. His parents, both of them together... his brother... the few people he actually knew that he could count on his hand (which included those he actually liked and those he hated). And him.
Aa, a death mirror. Peachy. He sighed and walked out of the room.

At least it was something a little more tangible that he ran into this time. Though, it didn't suck any less.

Might as well go out like a baller!
The horsemen was defeated at least but Sheldon's body hit the ground hard. The last thought he had was how he totally regretted this decision.
He was found several hours later.
