Andrew had changed shirts after his bit of a jousting match with Ruth. His old one was shot. He had zero sewing skills of any kind, so there was no reason to keep it.
But Andrew didn't just chuck it in the can. Andrew knew better, Deus had too little resources to throw away what could otherwise be used. So once he was cleaned up some, after jousting, he went to the recycle room to get rid of it.

Anepou had gone to the recycling room because he was going nuts with a lack of cloth and other materials to sew with. He needed to create new clothing, he also needed new clothing himself. He knew he couldn't really make anything NEW with what was there, but he could at least take things and remake them, into something 'new' and better then before. He was browsing through the shirt section, having selected about 4 pairs of ripped up pants to rebuild... He had an idea for two of them, they'd make a great single pair when he was done... When Andrew arrived. The clothing he'd chosen was in a bag, and Ane was handling things with gloves, because he had no idea how much time anyone had spent cleaning any of this.
He looked up at Andrew, and blinked at him for a moment, mentally placing him. He wasn't particularly close or familiar with anyone in the Sun Division, outside of the group Chats, so sometimes it took him a minute to remember the names of people from Sun. He finally clicked, and said "Andrew... What brings you to the recycle roo..." He interrupted himself, spotting the shirt in Andrew's hand. "OH. What happened to your shirt? Do you need it fixed?" He straightened up, shoving the two shirts he'd just selected into his bag, and approached, eyeing the shirt without touching the other man. "How did you do that to it..." He shook his head, and grinned. "Well it doesn't matter. I can fix it if you want. I found a store of thread and needles, and it's not so badly damaged that it's unrepairable. In fact, I might be able to improve it if you want?"

The answer to the last time this was cleaned, was, probably a few days ago. Water was too precious right now to waste it on cleaning. Especially as being in sun, most of his stuff was ripped or dirty anyways. Horsemen and patrol duty did that.
Andrew did try to track names, but it took him a long moment to place the other man. A something?
He opened his mouth to make some unwanted comment and then shut it. "Wait you are offering to fix this?" as in for free? What a loser! But... Andrew wasn't above taking hand outs. And he supposed all things considered it wasn't really "free" because Andrew was strong enough to deal with anything that came their way.
"I was going to toss it, but if you can fix it, go for it." he said without the usual abrasiveness.

Anepou grinned at the other man, and nodded. "Yeah, I'll happily wash and repair it for you." He held out his bag, offering to let Andrew put it in. "Have to wash it first, or I... wont be able to handle it." He glanced out the window for a second, trying not to look embarrassed. He wished he could get over his germophobia, but it was firmly entrenched, He know a lot of people just didn't get it, especially around here. He'd been asked, once or twice, why on earth he would want to BE a hunter, when it might mean getting dirty for his job, but he'd just stared at them, and said "Shadows." Then turned away. Here, though, in this moment, he felt somewhat vulnerable. He was with some one he didn't know well, and showing Andrew that he both was weak about germs, and that he was into the activity of sewing, which his family had tried to convince him was unmanly and not acceptable for him to do, especially as the insane lot of them were convinced he was supposed to become the Pharaoh, true leader of the world, and he should be ordering OTHERS to do it. Nuts. All of them, nuts. No wonder he had issues.
He'd been sewing since he was 8 and had convinced a friend's mom to teach him, under the guise of 'I might rip my clothes when playing, and I don't want Mama mad.' He'd kept it a secret, and it wasn't until he was able to come here that he'd truly been able to indulge himself as he wanted, when it came to sewing and creating. Getting a chance to help some one else and indulging himself in this was no bother.
"Probably should. It like everything else on this island needs it." including himself, but he really hated baths. He took one during the hurricane, good enough. (ok he did bath since but it was bare necessity) Andrew wasn't even thinking about this guy being a germaphob. By his personal standards most people were way more picky about cleaning with water than him.
Just burn it with fire.
Andrew also didn't judge him for having the skills. Where he came from being able to make something last longer was a bonus. His own skills ran more towards the lifting things side of things.
Andrew shoved it in the bag. "Alright." he told him which room was his. "I mean if it winds up being irreparable, don't worry about it. I just figured someone might be able to use it. Waste not want not and all that."

"It'll get a nice wash, along with the rest of these." He didn't say the truth, that all of it'd be run through the laundry at least twice before he would touch it with his bare hands. Possibly three times. He grinned, nodded at Andrew, and closed the back once the stuff was in it, and then grabbed one more shirt that had JUST caught his eye. "I'll get it back to you, clean as a whistle, once it's repaired."
He sighed. "I just hope that idiot, who ever it was, who was 'growing things' in the laundry has gotten his crap out of there. Or I swear to whatever gods may be listening that I will use a shovel to haul it outside, cover it in lighter fluid and burninate the s**t out of it." He liked fire for things of this nature. Fire was a great natural cleanser when it came to a certain level of filth, and those horrible experiments were well on past that level.
"Irreparable? Not even slightly! Worst case scenario is I need to sub out the sleeves, and if so, I promise that whatever I make the new sleeves out of, it'll look good. Very good." He eyed the other man... Not in anyway that indicated he was giving him THE eye, more a considering glance, maybe a hint of weighing and measuring, but nothing at all sexual in it. "Yeah. I can definitely make it flatter you. You've got a decent build to you. Have you considered wearing muscle shirts? They'd probably flatter you. Not my style at all, but..." He shrugged, and moved towards the door.
Andrew grinned. "I'll follow you over then. I will happily participate in burning s**t." At least for once his weapon and him were on the same level of thought. He wouldn't get in trouble for "cleaning". Plus he knew how to prevent it from getting out of control.
"What? I'm not..." what? what? Andrew just shoved on cloths, good enough. Andrew's face suddenly got a few shades redder. "Um..." being one of the smaller male hunters, he never considered anything he wore flattering. It tended to be a size too big at best. Andrew just wasn't one to show off his body. He didn't consider that there was anything To show off. "I'll trust your judgement."
He looked the other man over. Maybe he was just one of those. Yeah his cloths... they certainly had a style to them. He was one of those.

Anepou grinned at that. "Oh? That would be awesome. The sooner it's out of there, if he hasn't moved it, the happier I will be. I did warn him I would do this, and it's TIME." He grinned, and turned towards the door, pulling it open and walking out, pleased that things had turned out this way. "Let's BURN it." He strode down the hall, his bag of clothing swinging at his side, his eyes glittering with pleasure at the thought of more destroyed germs. This was going to be a very good day, in his mind, and he had no shame in enjoying it.
