[ TASK ] As one of the engineers it is your job to help apply the work of the metalworkers into new technology and develop products to better observer humanity and reap their data. This is where the hardware side of development goes on, though some software is tested at this level.
[ MECHANICS ] Roll 1d6 twice, each roll is half the day. - You set up a complex motherboard array, newly developed peripheral, hardware or something else in development and yet when it is plugged in, for no discernible reason you can figure out it shorts out and goes on fire. - You come up with a more efficient way of drawing heat away from hot machinery in a flat plane, if you have already rolled this, you simply develop this further. - Somehow you accidentally stumble upon a means of pulling data from a data line without being easily detectible - You help to develop the ability to make everything smaller, phones, cables and spying devices. - You spend all of your shift trying to figure out the problems with a complex circuit and even with the help of your supervisors, no process is made at all. - You work hard all day and get your break extended by Tyr who is very pleased with the whole department's hard work.
[ UPON COMPLETION ] +1 Raffle Ticket (you can only claim a MAX of 3 per player this way!) +5 Currency +1 Arcana Bonus gaia_crown+1 RARE UNIQUE CLOTHING PIECE RELATED TO THIS JOB (LINK COMPLETED THREAD HERE)

Wanting to check out a new business for once, Aya walked into the place like she meant to be there, rubbing the back of her wrist in a bit of nervousness.
As she understood it, she was an engineer that was supposed to help others apply what was done by the metal workers, and attempt to fit it with new technology. They had to observe humanity by developing better products, and reap data from whatever they could salvage.
Aya was led to an area where she could focus, so she got to work, looking at the data and poking around until she accidentally stumbled upon a means that she didn't think had been discovered.
She realized that with this discovery, she could pull data from a data line without being easily detected, and it was rather satisfying knowing that no one could trace anything she was doing right now.
Well. Not without problems, that is.
Shifting from one foot to the other, Aya pursed her lips and continued to search around for data until she figured that she'd had enough, before moving onto the second part of her job.
Like the first part, this was also easy -- she realized by a bit of finagling that there was a more efficient way of drawing heat away from the flat machinery -- when it was in a flat plane.
This made it so that more things could be developed in a safer manner.
Aya smiled to herself. This was a lot of good data... and she felt like she'd actually accomplished something. Go her!
CHARACTER: Aya DIVISION: Moon META JOURNAL ARCANA: Wheel of Fortune BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER: Aya is of medium height, has purple hued hair with white bangs, fair skin, and black sclera contacts with purple pupils (mostly to weird people out). It wouldn't be a far stretch to say that her favorite color was purple, but she does seem to have a humorous attitude about most things.
Her weapon is a staff with various flower designs carved into it, as well as the standard runes.
