Houri had made sure not go too far from the group on her scooting of the area around them. it was hard finding moments to be alone from the group and specially from her father who was keeping a close eye on her. Grumbling to herself, she started to realize how much she enjoyed her alone time back at the pride. but she felt this was good for herself to learn to work well with a big group where you were not going to get much alone time to yourself. plus she didn't want her father or everyone else to know she was planning on finding a strong rouge blooded male to have cubs with. with her family ties, she honestly had no real shot at finding someone completely unrelated to her unless they were a rouge joining the pride. plus she knew her father wouldn't be too happy to hear she was wanting to have cubs without the father being around to help raise them.
Karji perked his ears as he heard someone headed in his direction and they seemed to be grumbling to themselves. "keep grumbling to yourself like that and someone might find you crazy." laughing, he didn't even bother to move from his position or to see who he had called out too. tail swishing about, he held no worries as he stayed laying where he was at. he knew at some point his best friend would be about since he had not decided to go on an adventure outside their pride without him. smirking, he lazily waited for whomever it was to come over to where he was, just to wait to see if they would be friendly or not.
Houri's ears perked as she heard the male voice before she spotted him. " that or I am just annoyed with something." eyeing the male, she would of thought him firekin born if she didn't know any better. though to her it seemed he lacked any of the firekin personality and just had the appropriate coloration. "i'am Houri by the way." she made sure to try to be as polite as possible at lest as possible as she could be to a rouge whom she had no clue if they were strong or not. " may I ask your name?" her curiosity in him was perked with how laid back he could be just having a strange stroll up to him. "also do you happen to be from around here?" she was trying very hard not to blurt out a bunch of questions at him.
Karji stretched lazily and eyed her back, since it seemed she was eyeing him like a piece of meat. "just call me Bone Marrow." he then stuck out his tongue at her. " that my dear Houri is my secret. I couldn't very well let you follow me back home now could I." he then started to chuckle. "after all we just met." at home he was less of a trickster, but now that he actually met someone whom was not of him pride for the first time. the more he eyed her the more he could tell she was not around from anywhere close by. but then again nether was he as he was far from home so that he could see the world a little before going back home.
Houri tried hard to not make a rude face at him and really was unsure how to react to him when he had such a odd name. "ok.....Bone Marrow." though his last statement made her go wide eyed. " hey now! I am not looking to follow any male home." huffing, she gave him a look this time that said 'keep this up and you might get smacked'. " I am from the Motoujamii and I am with a group that are exploring the lands outside our pride." wrinkling her nose, she started to realize she was being a little rude but couldn't help her reactions to his antics. since really he was pushing her buttons. " I am just scooting the area near were we decided to rest for the moment." she made it clear her pride mates were not far from them both.
"interesting....so you never been outside your pride" not like he could say much since this was also his first time adventuring outside his pride just like her. plus he had only decided to do this out of pure boredom with pride life at the current moment, which he was not about to admit at all. "so what is it like where your from?" his curiosity was peeked in possibly learning more of were she was from since it appeared she was from a more harsh environment compared to were his pride was.
"honestly we had no reason to bother with the outside world past our boarders. we have always managed to keep anyone hostile away from our land with our strength." it was clear she was very prideful of her pride and their strength. though as she answered one of his questions she realized she was not learning really much about him at all." where I come from is hot and nothing but sand. food and water is almost a luxury. only the strong who are not born in decided to seek us out and join." it seem she was way to chatty about herself so she decided to change the subject to him. "what about you? what is it like where you are from. that is if you will ever tell." she was very annoyed with her secretive he was about his pride.
"lets just leave it at I come from a pride that enjoys the greener side of life compared to you." he chuckled and purposely brushed her aside to ignore her questions of his pride. where he was from they were secretive and for a reason which he was not about to break any rules. "there really isn't much to say about it so done worry. your warrior pride is way more interesting." in a way he was speaking the truth and he didn't feel like telling much about himself anyways. he had more enjoyment getting her to talk about herself and didn't care to talk of himself. for him it was more fun to learn about another and toy with them.
"well if that is all your ever going to tell me then. there is only one last thing I do want to ask." Houri could tell she was going to get no were else with him and figured now was the perfect time to ask the question. he met her requirements expect she still needed to spar test him. but besides that she figured she should ask while she could. she didn't think he would ever meet him again. only thing now was mustering the courage to ask him the question that at the time she had decided to try to find a male to have cubs with didn't think it would be so hard or weird.
