"Okay, look," the manager seems very irritated. "We just had two trucks come in and drop off their goods. Our current help mixed the boxes up."
He hands you a clip-board. "I need you to check each box's invoice and decide where it goes. If the invoice says 'Cavalry' you just put an X here," he points to the bottom left corner of the paper, "and have those idiots stack it over there. Don't actually count Cavalry boxes in the total number of boxes on the form. If it says anything else on the box, I need you to open it and make sure the invoice matches. Fill out your report when you're done."
Roll 8 d4: These are the boxes, and there are 8 of them. For each box follow the instructions below and RP accordingly. --If you roll doubles, it means you have two of that particular box and need to follow it's instructions twice. Same with triples, etc.
This box says it holds one complete silver dinner set. Roll 1 d10 to see what's missing.

One serving platter is listed, but not in the box. -------5. Three forks have magically disappeared. -------6. One spoon and on butter knife are missing. -------7. Everything is there. -------8. Two plates are missing. -------9. There are NO forks in this set. WHAT?! -------10. Everything is there, but the large serving platter has a huge gouge on it. Best make a note.
This box is supposed to hold on large grandfather clock. Best check for damages. Roll 1 d6. If even it's in perfect condition. If odd the glass on the front is broken. You had better make a note.
Three large tapestries from the year 1400. Roll 1 d4. If you roll a 1 or 2, one tapestry is missing. If you roll a 3, they all have water damage. If you roll a 4, everything looks good!
This box is labeled "Cavalry". No need to check the contents, simply RP ordering the part-timers to stack it in the corner.

Deciding to do a bit of inventory prep to help calm her nerves after being in the spotlight from the meeting, Aya went over to help sort through the boxes, rubbing her head as the manager told her where to put which boxes and to count everything to make sure it was there.
She saw the first, labeled it CAVALRY and set it to the side before tackling the other boxes that were ready to be sorted through.
Hopefully it wouldn't take her very long at all.

Opening the first few set of boxes, Aya found that the first three were completely empty.
Great. This was just perfect.
Twisting her mouth, she opened the next and found that it was completely damp and beyond repair.
The last box retained now damage whatsoever, and was actually able to be resold.
She marked it down, setting it to the side.

The next box had a grandfather clock in it, and Aya was satisfied to find that it was unbroken, and that it was in perfect condition.
She marked that down as well, smiling to herself.
Only one box left.

Scooting over to the last box, Aya opened it up to find a set of dinnerware, and she counted it twice just to make sure everything was there.
Satisfied that there was another box that was able to be resold, she wrote down the information for the manager and folded it back up, putting it with the good grandfather clock, and the good tapestry.
Well, three good boxes were better than none.
