Lily had been extra restless after finally getting out of that Life meeting and needed to blow off some steam with her friends. Before running off to pester Lewis, she decided to pay Sara a visit. Whenever she hunted her down, that is, she flashed her a big smile and the corniest line she could think of, "Hey there Beautiful!".

She almost hated herself for it, almost.
As terrible as it was, it hadn't been a lie, at least.

Sara gave the other girl a playful sort of smile. "Sara." she corrected. "You are lucky you are so attractive yourself or I'd have had to give you a slap for that bold sass."

She shrugged. "As it is though I'll let it go."

"Good, because I don't think hand marks on one's face are in this season." She teased right back. She stretched a little then stood more loosely in front of Sara. "Hand marks other places, though..."

She cleared her throat carefully.

"How was the Death meeting, did you get accused of being crap, too?" She asked with that usual damn smile of hers that rarely seemed to leave her face, especially when in the company of friends.

Sara gave the other woman a confused look for her comments about the Death meeting and seemed to carefully sidestep flirting. "Nope. Not really."

"I tend to stay out of the way entirely if I can. Less notice, less trouble."

She shrugged. "I don't want any hassle really. Tough enough on this island."

"Gah, at least you could. They based our entire funding this time on minis. Little mindless fluffy fear creatures versus any and all the good work we did for Deus this whoooole time." Lily used Sara's comment as a segue into a rant about her own meeting, had that been the only reason she asked in the first place?

"What kind of trouble would you get in anyway if they noticed you?" She brought the conversation back, at least.
