Once she was free to take up a mission assignment, Meara looked over the different ones listed carefully. With a thoughtful look in her eyes she read them over a few times before finally picking the one out for the one that had a business called Mighty Magical Pets, being rather curious about just why it was called that. When she arrived at the building she looked around in a mixture of confusion, amusement, amazement, and curiosity when she found the place to be a hybrid of a pet shop and a work out gym. How in the world did anyone get an idea for something like this?

And then those thoughts flew out of her head as a large man came over to pull her in farther while introducing himself as Allen the shop owner. Next thing she knows he is telling her that she is going to be training the Floresce like it was a normal every day thing and was promptly handed a large golden fish. Meara stared at it for a moment as she was told to name the adorable fish, trying to both figure out how she had gotten her in the first place and just what to name the Floresce.

After a few more moments of pondering she gave a smile and lifted the fish up a bit so she could see it better. "From now on your name shall be Excalibur." She told it with a decisive nod. Why she picked that name she couldn't say but she was sticking to it.

Now that she had named the Floresce Excalibur, she was then directed to pick out one of the work out machines so she could actually train her new fish friend. Meara held Excalibur as she walked between the machines trying to pick just which one to use to make the fish stronger, finally she ended up picking one out. Or rather it picked it's self by almost tripping her as she walked. It wasn't really a machine, just a simple jump rope but it was something and as it had a station of it's own it was clearly an option.

She set Excalibur down on the ground then picked up the rope. It was a mystery at this point however if the Floresce would actually jump it though. "Alright, ready? Let's go!" She said then started to swing the rope. Thankfully Excalibur did end up jumping when she did so they were able to complete the training, though it was only good and not great.

A tournament? That wasn't a surprise. The surprise was the fact that it was a jumping tournament. Meara looked at Allen and his strong looking fish to Excalibur, who had only had one training attempt and it had been good. However that wouldn't stop her in hoping the fish would do it's best and she move into position, placing Excalibur down on the tournament floor. "I believe in you Excalibur, you can do this!" She encouraged with a smile to the fish. When the count down came she tensed up and when the two Florescence jumped she held her breath.

In the end though Excalibur fell just a bit shorter then Allen's Florescence. Meara gave a sign in disappointment but couldn't help but smile when Allen congratulated her and let her keep Excalibur. She cuddled the fish close in her arms then walked off with a grin. Mission accomplished even if she didn't beat Allen.
