[ JOB LISTING ] Inventory Manager [ DIFFICULTY LEVEL ] gaia_stargaia_stargaia_star [ TASK ] Monitor and list all incoming and outgoing inventory.
"Okay, look," Adelaide seems very irritated. "We just had two trucks come in and drop off their goods. Those nincompoops," she points at two part-timers, "unloaded everything without marking things down." Eight large boxes are sitting on the dock.
She hands you a clip-board. "I need you to check each box's invoice and decide where it goes. If the invoice says 'Cavalry' you just put an X here," she points to the bottom left corner of the paper, "and have those boobs stack it over there. Don't actually count Cavalry boxes in the total number of boxes on the form. If it says anything else on the box, I need you to open it and make sure the invoice matches. Fill out your report when you're done."
Roll 8 d4: These are the boxes, and there are 8 of them. For each box follow the instructions below and RP accordingly. --If you roll doubles, it means you have two of that particular box and need to follow it's instructions twice. Same with triples, etc.
This box says it holds one complete silver dinner set. Roll 1 d10 to see what's missing.
-----If you roll a: -------1. Everything is there. -------2. It is missing the gravy boat. -------3. Two spoons are no where to be found. -------4. One serving platter is listed, but not in the box. -------5. Three forks have magically disappeared. -------6. One spoon and on butter knife are missing. -------7. Everything is there. -------8. Two plates are missing. -------9. There are NO forks in this set. WHAT?! -------10. Everything is there, but the large serving platter has a huge gouge on it. Best make a note.
This box is supposed to hold on large grandfather clock. Best check for damages. Roll 1 d6. If even it's in perfect condition. If odd the glass on the front is broken. You had better make a note.
Three large tapestries from the year 1400. Roll 1 d4. If you roll a 1 or 2, one tapestry is missing. If you roll a 3, they all have water damage. If you roll a 4, everything looks good!
This box is labeled "Cavalry". No need to check the contents, simply RP ordering the part-timers to stack it in the corner.
When you are done checking all 8 boxes, fill out the form below and post it in your last post.
"Thank you," Adelaide says as you hand over your form.

Deciding to do some inventory checking for Adelaide, the War Horseman wandered in and was set to work almost instantaneously.
Stretching, of course, was a necessity before one went rummaging through boxes, so Vania did just that, making sure her wings and arms were limber before she tackled the first few set of boxes.
Silver dinnerware was what was supposed to be in them, so she checked, and sighed. There were absolutely no forks in the first set, and the second was missing the gravy boat entirely.
Who did things like this?
Seriously.

Vania moved over to the second set of boxes, hearing ticking from them.
These had to be the grandfather clocks.
She smiled as she opened up two, checking the glass and woodwork before moving to the third, and finding hairline cracks there.
Damn. Well, at least two had made it safe, right?
Two was better than one, or none.
Vania marked it down on a slip of paper.

The last set of boxes were filled with tapestries -- or, at least, they were supposed to be.
Opening two revealed that they were missing entirely... and the third? No, the third was completely saturated with water, to the point where it was waterlogged and rendered absolutely useless.
Rubbing her head as she set the boxes to the side, Vania glanced over the rest and blinked.
Oh, of course! One last box -- the one marked CAVALRY, which she moved to the side and marked for Adelaide to grab at a later time.
She wrote down the details on the slip of paper, and gave it to Adelaide.
It was a shame that there wasn't more items that could be salvaged.
