Maebe felt a little thrown by the past few days. Something felt off, but she couldn't let it stop her from getting her work done. So she showed up to Adelaide's promptly on time, just to get what she could from the job.

The first box she opened was bigger than herself. She was scared when the clock threatened to tip out after being opened, but after she'd secured it she could tell it was in perfect working condition. She made a note and closed it back up.

Once she found one of the so called 'Cavalry' boxes, she signalled for someone to come take it away. Her curiosity itched to see what was inside, though.

She found a large box that she could hardly open, because it was so long and heavy. When she finally got it open, she found three tapestries, with major water damage. Almost ruined. Shame.

She found another grandfather clock, with no broken glass. She put the cover of the box back on and made a note.

Another Cavalry box. Maebe's fingers twitched, desperate to open it and get a peek. Before she could give in to the urge, she called someone over quickly and they took it away.

Yet another box of water-ruined tapestries? This was strange coincidence. She wondered if the tapestries all had come from somewhere together. Somewhere wet.

Sure enough the next box proved her wrong, as she found three beautiful tapestries in the next box, completely intact and unharmed.
They were absolutely beautiful. She wished she could have had one for herself.

Her last box had one more grandfather clock, but this one was broken. The glass had shattered during delivery. She made a note.
