Behind the Antique store, you find some of the other workers frantically searching though several old boxes and stacks of things.
If you decide to ask what they are looking for, they tell you. "One of the Kittens is missing. We need to find it before Adelaide returns. It's one of the gray ones. It's name is Cloudeater or something."
The other workers looked a little panicked. Maybe because Adelaide loves the kittens.

Were all of the employees working in back complete idiots?
Yuki had been passing by - yeah, he had probably just been in the shop again don't ******** judge him ok - and overheard snippets of the mention of losing something and how it must be found before the shop owner came back. Something about gray and eating clouds.
Well, might as well try to lend a hand.
"What did you morons do this time?" Yuki asked without addressing any one of them in particular but all of them as a whole. He didn't care who was to blame. He'd already dealt with helping to fix their lacking unloading and inventory tracking skills.
Given his answer, the famine horseman rolled his eyes. "You're losing it over a cat? I thought you'd broken something expensive. ...Again."
Still, he didn't have anything better to do right now. While he wasn't particularly fond of cats, he knew that they were a Big Deal in the Human World for some reason. He didn't have anything against Adelaide, other than her inability to hire useful part timers.

Tanita looked horrified when she heard that Cloudeater was missing. She had adored meeting and cuddling the babies when Rayu had introduced her, and the idea that one had gotten lost? Oh no! She immediately began to hunt the area, her eyes huge and upset. "Cloudeater...? Clouuuuuudeater?" She tried shaking some kitty treats she had brought with her specifically to give to the kittens, because honestly she was more interested in visiting them today then she had been in working! They were just too sweet and adorable. This was just so terrible.
She thought about where she would hide if she was a kitten, then went over to the nearest dumpster and got on her knees, peering under it and shaking the treats more... But was very disappointed to see that there was no adorable grey kitten under it for her to rescue. "Oh Cloudeater, where did you go...?" She stood up, and used all of her height to try to peer INTO the dumpster, holding her nose with a disgusted expression on her face. Still no kitten. She turned back and tried to figure out what else nearby might have a kitten hiding in it, before walking to peer in a nearby gutter, and climbing onto a chair to look all the way into it.It, too, was devoid of adorable fluffiness. "I don't know where to look!" She cried out, upset at the fact that she couldn't find the precious lost baby. She adored the kittens so much, and it depressed her.

He hadn't looked very hard at all, not that he'd actually been searching long to begin with, before he heard someone calling the kitten's name. Or, he thought that was its name. That was what the worker had called it, right? He hadn't paid a lot of attention to that part.
"Has anyone checked the street yet?" Yuki called out to Tanita, finding her by following her calls for the kitten and loud complaint. "It might've gotten hit by a car."

Tanita's head whipped around to stare at the unknown Famine Horseman who was making such a suggestion to her. She stared at him, her brain not getting what it was he was saying for a long moment, then her eyes went HUGE and panicked. "WHAT? What oh oh by the Clans NO." She whipped her head back to stare out at the street, where cars were zipping along with little or no care as to what could be darting out between their wheels. She turned her head, back and forth, trying to see if she saw any sign of the kitten nearby. When she came to the conclusion that he wasn't close enough to spot, she immediately turned and grabbed Yuki by the hand and began to drag him towards the street with her, breathing in a heavily panicked way.
"We have to find him before that happens! You have to help me hunt for him, the poor baby! If he's... if he's hit... No I can't think of that. It would be terrible, I can't cope with that!" She sounded ready to burst into tears at the very idea, and perhaps it was pure will power and focus that was keeping her from doing so. She didn't seem to have any clue that she was dragging some one she had never even met before with her, or that she was demanding assistance from him. For all she knew, he was going to get angry at her, at any moment, for this.

"Cloudeater is missing?" Did someone take him? If so Rayu was going to have to destroy them.
Rayu had totally come in for kitten pets again. He really liked the tiny fearless monsters that mostly crawled all over each other and chowed on each other. They reminded him of tiny War horsemen except with paws and no wings.
Problem was they were like minipets, weak and tiny and really not very strong on their own. If they were lost, then how would it survive? Rayu wandered out into the street and found a very large flock of pigeons. Perhaps it was hungry?
"Cloudeater?" he called, and stomped through the pigeons. they took flight and landed a little ways away from him before continuing their pecking at the ground. There was no way a kitten would catch that.
He moved on and spotted some other people, one calling for cloud eater. Well at least he wasn't the only one looking. Wait didn't he know that one? "Tanita, have you seen cloudeater?"

It was strange to see war horsemen running around, after a kitten. Why would Adelaide be so obsessed with those tiny bundles of claws and annoying. Humans were the ones obsessed with those things. Heck, you could put one in a trap and catch about 20 humans with ease.
Well, he wasn't about to question it. Perhaps he could get some bragging points for finding the animal.
He walked outside the shop where others had congregated in search for missing kitten, including some recognizable faces.
"So you've been drafted into the search?" He quizzed Yuki while the other two horsemen were panicking. "Why are you so freaked out over a stupid human animal. It's probably skulking around here. Just put a tin of food out and it'll come running." He rolled his eyes. "Morons."
Still, he made half a effort to look. By glancing in a alleyway from 20 feet away. Nope, nothing there.

"If you are so sure that will work, go get it some food." Rayu frowned at him. "And kittens are a great model for fear. Humans fear them which makes them a great mascot for the store. Plus they are tiny and fit inside unlike mounts."
It might be time to remind Darkjay that some of the War ponies had cat mount forms instead of horses.
Besides humans loved the things they fears. No one said humans were smart.
Rayu looked down another alley. "Cloudeater. Come here."

Tanita spun around, looking at Rayu with a visibly upset face. "I know, Rayu! I'm hunting. This fellow suggested he might have gotten into the street!" It was obvious she was on edge from the very idea... So when the OTHER War Horseman showed up and spoke his piece, she turned, snarling in anger. "How dare you! Just because you don't value something does not mean it doesn't have value! And to dismiss the value of something that others care about right in front of them is cruel, pointless, and thoughtless. Then again, the fact that you'd do it, in such an unpleasant fashion, shows you don't care about those around you."
She paused, then added "Moron." To her statement for effect. "Why bother being here, even, since you don't care? Also, perhaps you'd care to take that attitude up with Madam Adelaide? I'm sure she'd find your views on the kittens quite interesting, wouldn't you agree, Rayu?" She looked ready to stomp over and slap that rude Horseman that she didn't even know, and was visibly trembling from her anger. She, without meaning to, dropped the arm of Yuki, which freed him if he wanted to escape from this tense and probably not at all of interest to him at this point situation. "I detest people like you, who speak without thought of those around you, and who treat what they don't understand as unimportant. Just GO, please, before you make this worse." She glowered, heavily, at the stranger.

Cor had been wandering by when he noticed the commotion as workers desperately sought out the missing creature. He had a strong sense of duty and couldn't ignore the chaos they were creating in their efforts and approached to ask what was going on, if he could help. After the brief explanation, he sighed, of course they needed help finding a small delicious creature, unharmed of all things. He gave his word he would try not to eat it if he found it, "try" being the word with emphasis. He couldn't promise beyond that.
He went right to work seeking out the helpless creature, crouching in the alleyway and sniffing around - literally - for the kitten. He caught the scent of something he was certain was feline in nature and followed it as best he could. He was used to hunting in the jungle - not the concrete kind. Here the ground was too hard for tracks and too many creatures and people passed through on a daily basis. Still, he tried his best and followed the trail to behind a dumpster. He saw a flash of gray, something matching the description of "Cloudeater", dart away and immediately perused it further down the alleyway until he caught up with it and pounced it.
Thankfully it was just a really really fat pigeon that was too fat to fly away, because Cor may have accidentally broken it.
He returned to the employees with the dead bird in hopes that they may at least be able to use it as bait for the real "Cloudeater".

He turned his body towards her, head tilted and listening at her long rant about how he didn't care and the poor widdle kitty and a bunch of other useless drivel.
"If this thing is so valuable to you how did you lose it in the first place?" He asked casually. "Seems pretty hypocritical to b***h to me about not caring when you can't even keep track of it."
"I care about those worth caring about. The ones who can prove to me they are worth my time, who are strong and don't go on about pointless crap." He couldn't help but laugh at her insults. "Aww, you don't like me. How cute."

The Famine Horseman walked in, blinking as she glanced around at a bunch of War Horsemen looking for a poor lost kitten.
Sadly, she hadn't gotten to babysit any -- she'd always been given boxes of things to sort through -- but she was curious to see if she could possibly find this kitten for herself.
Tessa did have a soft spot for cats, after all.
She looked around while remaining distant from the others, turning to look in the near empty alleyway.... nothing.
Deciding to look in the nearby coffee shop, Tessa opened the door and looked around. She smelled coffee, but sadly there were no curious kittens who decided that the coffee shop was a good place to rest.

Chao was on her way to work at the antiques store when she heard a commotion in the back of the store. Walking around the building she saw some of the employees rummaging frantically through boxes and stuff in the back of the store. Chao sighed, they must have lost something, it seemed like this store had the worst help imaginable. “What’s going on?” She inquired. One the employees turned looking at Chao, their features where twisted with a mix of panic and fear, in a rushed voice they explained to Chao that they had somehow managed to lose one of Adelaide’s kittens. Specifically one of the grey ones. “WHAT.” She shouted at them. She noticed the employee flinch at the shout. She had known that the workers where incompetent idiots but they lost one of the kittens?
Chao was furious, Adelaide loved those kittens, and hell CHAO loved those kittens. (Secretly she was glad that Banna was safe, they were her favorite.) She could have spent a half-hour yelling at them for their incompetence, it was one thing to break the antiques most of them could be replaced, but the kitten was a living thing, a human world living thing. They were soft, squishy and not as hardy as minis.
Yelling at them however was not going to solve the problem. Furiously she whirled around and stalked off to try and find the poor lost Cloudeater. Chao tried to think of where would be a good place to start looking for Cloudeater as she walked. She would have said he couldn’t have gone far, but she had seen how fast the kittens move and it was quite possible that he managed to wander pretty far.
Passing an alley way she decided to start looking there. “Cloudeater, come here~!” She called in a sing-song voice she used around the kittens, she also made some clicking noises and a few attempts at meows and she moved around the alley. She searched behind boxes and other trash, looked in the gutters and down the drain. But she couldn’t find the kitten anywhere. Still she had to keep looking, cloudeater was a baby, and he couldn’t wander off alone! She wondered if he was trying to find his mom, she remembered Adelaide stating that there had been no sign of the mother cat. Was the poor abandoned kitten looking for their mother?

Terr wasn't interested in kittens. But he wanted extra cash to buy more clothes because he simply needed all the clothes despite never really going to wear them. And if simply looking for the minipet in question meant he was going to get paid, well, it was a small price to pay.
He chose to search near a coffee shop with absolutely no expectation to actually find the kitten. He had a description and he had a name. Sort of. But the Death Horseman's enthusiasm was less than high especially when compared to the other clansmen who were also looking for said kitten.
"Here Cloudeater," he said in his usual monotone, "Come here."
He wasn't exactly that broken up about the missing kitten. But Terr thought he could use a quick break so he ended up going inside the coffee shop instead to order something to drink. And maybe to eat. As he waited to pay, he spent some time looking over the menu and once he received his order, he took one of the empty tables outside to look for the kitten. While sipping his drink and taking nibbles from his pastry. Of course he was keeping an eye out for the specific kitten, but all he ended up seeing were humans milling about, or bigger kittens that were a different coloration.
"Cloudeater?" he would call out every now and again, while he doodled some random jewelry ideas and designs on the napkin. By the time he finished his drink and his pastry, there was still no sign of the kitten.

There was a pause between what he'd suggested and Tanita letting it sink in. Apparently, voicing this thought had been a terrible idea. Not because they could very well find a brutal scene, but because suddenly Yuki was tagging along whether he wanted to or not. "Wh- Wait!" He didn't pull against her grasp, but had to make up for the fact that she was rushing and he didn't want to trip up over his own feet trying not to be literally dragged down the sidewalk.
Thankfully he wasn't tugged around very long, because someone else was looking for the cat as well. Oh, and of course Darkjay had to show up too. Looks like they had a party. A party that Jay was about to make very angry, as was his ultimate goal in life.
"Calm down!" Yuki shouted. "Jay, for once in your life knock it the ******** off." He reached up with his free hand and pinched the bridge of his nose, taking in and purging a deep breath. All of this over one little creature. The horsewoman finally released him, and he focused solely on working the feeling back into his fingers.
"Listen," Yuki tried to offer, lowering the volume of his voice. "Humans practically worship cats, it's probably fine. Something as small as a kitten isn't going to get that far unless someone else picked it up. We could ask around the shops. See if any of the people working or shopping on the block have seen it."
