[ TASK ]
As one of our clever ponies at the tech Stable, your job is to fix customer's technology and troubleshoot it while making as much money as possible, making sure to fit and maintain our monitoring implants and software in the process.

[ MECHANICS ]
Roll 1d6 twice, each roll is half the day.

  1. - The hardware you are brought is a complete mess, it's screen is cracked in a way you can't replace, it simply won't boot correctly or it has been in some sort of terrible sticky accident. All you can do is commemorate its memory and send the customer over to your colleague on the shop floor, losing your commission in the process.
  2. - The fix is easy, the customer isn't very tech savvy and had simply tripped a background setting without meaning to, you can fix it in five minutes but those five minutes cost them dearly.
  3. - Somehow this customer has managed to break the monitoring process on their device, taking them off of the collective data grid, this has in essence bricked their tech, they bring it to you, you easily reinstall the spyware and they are on their way.
  4. - Some piece of hardware needs replaced, it is easily done but you tell them it will take 24 hours and charge them incredible prices for the part they need.
  5. - The customer wants nothing more than to talk to you about the store, the products, the CEO and everything else and none of your social hints to go away seem to work on them, delaying you in your work for half the morning
  6. - The hardware is outdated but somehow you get it running again, Tyr stops by and offers the customer a discount on an upgrade to a more modern product which they take and end up spending a great deal more than they meant to that day on in-store financing.

When she looked at the enterprise, the War horseman thought someone at the job center must have made a big mistake. War clan had nothing to do with technology, she could break a wall but not fix an electronic! Even worse, she reached there just to discover she was assigned to the retail area.

The briefing session didn't turn good either, those technical terms only managed to make her head swim. The Pale Horse Enterprises seemed to have high reputation among the humans and it had an important role of information collecting underneath. That was already the ninth time she sighed, all the readings was a pressure for her but it was necessary for her to know the company she was working for.

She began with their website and was pretty thankful for the neat and comfortable layout. It was reader-friendly and made her easier to understand what she needed to do and so on.

The Stable was an area which they provided technical support to PHE customers. Customers came, explained what problems the products had and waited for a solution to be given. She observed carefully when it wasn't her session yet and made note on how her co-workers did the job.

As a member of the War Clan, they appreciate individual's ability as well as group co-orperations. That was why whenever she had difficulties, it's normal for her to ask others who worked for a longer time there.

"How can I help you?" It was finally her turn. The customer took out an ancient phone which still had a cable attached to it. The man said it can't be switched on, Siluhe took the phone from his hand and did a check first. She followed what were told in the newbie training and checked if the batteries were working properly. Then she asked a few questions about the phone's condition, such as if it had been dropped before.

After she eliminated some possible factors, she pressed the start button which the white dye already scraped hard and she heard the start-up music from the phone. The customer's surprised voice drew Tyr's attention and he walked towards them to check out how his employee's doing. Siluhe gave a nod to him before returning her attention to the customer, explained that his phone was too old already.

Seeing the opportunity, her boss stepped in and offered a discount on an upgrade. The War horseman was kinda impressed by his prompt action and sharp eyes. The customer found her boss's attitude sincere and bought many other products before he left with his new phone.

"Phew."

Dealing with customers was not an easy job as she thought. She needed high concentration in maintaining a good attitude, and a quick-spinning mind to figure out a satisfactory solution. In addition, it sometimes required high tolerance when your customer wasn't amiable.

"Next please," after tackled another customer's problem, she called the next one. Half of her work day passed, and she still had another half to work on. "Excuse me, my laptop isn't working." She calmed the anxious looking young lady and asked for the details.

It turned out the said laptop would shut down by itself all of a sudden, Siluhe made her recall the scenarios and run the laptop with the company's provided plug-in and power. The laptop did automatically switch off after a period of short time. She touched the base of it and decided the cooler inside was unable to cope with the heat during summertime. She then suggested the young lady to get a USB fan to help with the situation.

It was when Tyr interrupted again and brought with a catalogue with latest laptops which were within affortable range of the young lady. Under Tyr's beautiful convincing techniques, she also purchased a hard drive, a powerful cooler fan, new keyboard and mouse, etc.

Siluhe's mouth agaped at the businessman's skills, he was born to be in retail fields, she certainly believed.
