What exactly makes someone desire to do an honest days work? If you have the guts to ask an orc and her assistant, you just might find out. The surrounding city and its village like appeal is decorated by massive forests and trees that touch the very sly itself. Hollowed out and made to last through any and all types of natural disaster this mighty forest stands tall.
So what brings the traveling duo to the land? Word around town is the mayor put in a call to have Ralshafina and Elizabeth come by and begin construction on a new part of the city, hiring them to make multiple houses out of one of the massive trees. And sure enough, the two arrived ready and willing to work. While Ralshafina took a more silent and work focused direction, Elizabeth went into town to procure supplies, food and general goods they'd need for the job. What the two didn't expect was gaining a part time assistant...this...is that story.

¤ Ralshafina ¤ Location : Forest town. What was the name... Company : Beth's probably around somewhere.. Feelings : Determined... Really should sharpen my axe...
"Don't forget the pork this time! Last time you brought a carts worth of chicken!" a loud voice boomed across the large sized market, the tall orc poised well above anyone else running about around her. Ralshafina stood firm, hair tied tightly into her usual pony tail style with the ends of her hair licking her ankles, left arm firmly grasping the front of her custom made cart that she pulled through the city streets as her right reached out to snag supplies from street vendors while also flicking payment their way from a bucket sized pouch that hung off her hip. A few people outright skirted around her while the younger and more curious folk marveled at the strange woman.
She stood tall, her seven foot ten inch frame obvious to spot even without her cart behind her. Custom made and carrying an abundance of woodworking supplies, rations and tools for a blacksmith. Ralshafina had her trusty axe strapped to her back, the head gently tapping against her shoulder as she hauled the cart through the marketplace. After a good hour of window shopping and item swapping she whistled loud enough for the whole market to jump, indicating to her partner she was moving onto their designated campsite and working location. She was offered an inn but told the mayor it would hardly suit her.
Ignoring the ramble of onlookers and curious children she pushed forward, the echo of her carts wheels soon leaving the hustle and bustle of the city. Only half a mile out from the city limits stood an enormous tree, at a glance the tree itself likely spanned nearly a mile in its width, the trunk soaring high into the sky past the clouds above. Ralshafina let her gaze follow the trunk up and down a few times, her right hands raising to slowly run down the back of her head and through her hair before she released the cart, an audible boom sounding from the front reaching the ground as Ralshafina shifted to start unpacking.
First she threw all of Elizabeth's things into a pile, the small clang and bang of metal and tools echoing around before a large tent began to rise. Heavy hammer falls could be heard as Ral beat in posts and tent ties into the surrounding grass, the tip top of what looked like a circus tent in size soon looming overhead. Within minutes a strange metal stack soon poked out the right side of the structure, followed by a subtle plume of what looked like smoke escaping out the top. After she'd set up Beth's forge and tools Ral went onto her own accommodations, a large bed unfurling with a heavy kick.
After an hour of prep work and axe sharpening the form of Ralshafina soon came from the tent entrance, her green skin more visible after she switched to her work attire. Black top that went down to her knees in a tattered fashion, heavy belt wrapped around her torso and an armguard fastened firmly along her left forearm. She could be seen walking up to the tree, tapping it with her knuckle in a few places, peeling off some bark and lightly running it along one of her protruding teeth before tossing it aside. And in a blur her axe reared back before planting itself deeply into the wood. The sound of her axe connecting mixed with subtle grunts filled the air, a subtle hum to her swings gave her action an almost serene sense to it. Bark and woodchips flew around her as she began the process of hollowing the massive tree out to begin her construction. Little did she know someone was likely watching her...

Ralshafina was right. There had been someone following her and for quite some time now. Charitina had been moving through town on her way towards the capital city and had heard some unrest. Perhaps a chance to make a name for herself defeating a thief or some other form of criminal? Wouldn't that be wonderful if she could say that she was already famous. Her mother would certainly approve of her then. Perhaps some dashing young man would swoon for her even! She began to break into a run before starting to slow down seeing her path was blocked by children staring at someone or something. A tall dark skinned woman, incredibly tall in fact, walked along pulling alongside her a wooden cart. She must be quite strong to pull along that cart all by herself Charitina mused to herself. A strong woman that perhaps she could learn something from. She began to push her way through the children apologising as she did so and careful not to hurt them. She was curious about this strong swarthy lady but began to have second thoughts when she saw the large axe gleaming on her back. Only this close could she truly appreciate the woman's impressive size and musculature. Definitely not someone to bother unless necessary. Charitina considered her options. She was impressed by Ralshafina. A woman like that would definitely be worth learning more about but she wanted to do it at a distance. Somewhere she wouldn't be spotted. Her bright red overgarment would make her easy to spot but so too likely would her ornaments if they began to clink in the wind. Perhaps she could hide inside her cart but that also seemed like a stupid idea. She'd look really strange if she was spotted inside the cart. As her mind considered ideas on how to sneak to meet her she noticed that Ralshafina had made quite some distance on her. She decided instead that at this distance her best bet was to continue to follow from this distance. Surely she'd not been noticed and it wasn't impossible for a traveller to follow the same path. A brilliant plan hastily thrown together to be sure! She followed along the dirt path the sky broken only by a huge tree so big it seemed to pierce the sky. With every step she took closer to the tree it seemed it had grown no closer and as the evening dragged on began to fall she lost sight of her target. Perhaps it had been somewhat unwise to follow her so late with no idea where she might be heading to. With no other point of reference, she followed a plume of smoke hoping that some people might be living there who might be willing to take pity on her and let her rest with them. If it came to it Charitina decided she would just rest somewhere away from the predatory animals. Perhaps the enormous tree would be suitable. As she came into the clearing where the almighty tree rested she began to hear the noise of tools and a woman's grunting. Perhaps she'd found the swarthy lady again. She could hardly believe the sight. She was trying to cut into the tree but how did she expect to do such work by herself? A tree of such grand size would no doubt require a whole logging crew if not several. She'd heard of women cutting down oaks by themselves which was considered to be quite impressive. A display of might even. To hollow this ungodly tree was surely too great an undertaking. Charitina couldn't help but display her wonderment. "Wow. Are you going to cut that down all by yourself?" Ever finding daft things to say she immediately thought as to whether there was something more sensible to say. "That's a lot of wood" She could see now the woman wasn't merely dark skinned she was green. How unusual. Charitina had never seen a green person before and with such large teeth. Her ears made her look like an elf though as she'd always been told the elves had pointy ears and were very tall she thought she must ask even though she'd never heard of a green elf. "Are you an elf?" She realised she'd been blabbering out questions to a woman she'd not even introduced herself to or even taken the time to work out whether or not she'd be hostile. Charitina knew she could reach for her sabre before the distance between them could be closed but she wasn't sure she could use her oak in time or escape. What would mother say if she was cut in half here by an elfish looking girl cutting down a tree who wouldn't have even seen her had she not made herself so obvious?

დElizabeth Bitechsen ☽Freelancing Blacksmith☾ Well sorry if I'm not much of a fan of pork Came to another loud boom from small blond hair women dressed in leather. She stood on the opposite side of the market with another cart at her side. The women began to walk around the market, grabbing this and that from the vendors and paying the amounted needed for what she was grabbing. Don't forget the pork she says... bah if she wants pork than she can hunt down some wild pigs for her damn pork She thought as she tugged along the market with her cart.
After securing the food the two would need for the next couple of days; Beth went around to socialize and procure the materials she would need for the job ahead. Ralshafina had all the material she could ever need, giving the forest around the town. Beth just needed to procure the metal for the crafts needed to be done. She talked with any townsfolk for leads on the matter before following said leads to a few miners. After a good long talk with them, she was able to secure the ore for the job. Giving she was a blacksmith Beth alone can mend the ore into iron and steel while also bending them into what the two would need.
After all that Beth pulled her cart to the location where Ralshafina and her decided to set up their camp and workshop. By the time she got there the camp was already set and Ralshafina was busy hacking away at a tree. She pulled her cart over towards the other one and begun to lay out their food and other materials she had gathered from the market. She is an orc, not an elf Stated Beth as she noted the newcomer as she went about with setting up their kitchen so she could start on a meal for the two.

¤ Ralshafina ¤ Location : Forest town. What was the name... Company : Beth's and a newcomer.. Feelings : Curious... Really should sharpen my axe...
The evening was starting to arrive as Ralshafina continued her assault on the massive tree. She had managed to cut her way a solid ten foot into the tree, now working on what appeared to something akin to an entrance with large pillars remaining from the tree. The crudely made entrance spanned almost twenty feet and fifteen tall alone based on the cuts in the wood. Ralshafina had already started driving secure bolts and fastening points in the wood to hold her up as she went about her work. As a voice snuck into her ears she paused after a delivering a heavy blow to the tree, bits of wood flying to scatter along her face and upper body.
There was a moment of pause before the next statement rang out, Ralshafina drawing the axe back before halting in her motion. She didn't growl but a slow exhale could be heard, only magnified by her brute like visage hanging slightly from some fastened ropes that notched to her large torso belt. The tense few moments had Ralshafina still before her head slowly shifted, her body turning as she looked towards Charitina. The almost neutral expression along her face and chunks of splintered wood falling off her body gave it an almost eerie feel. With her free left hand she raised it to brush away the sweat and splinters, slicking back to push her hair behind her back where it normally resided.
Before Ralshafina could answer a familiar voice chimed in, explaining her origin. "...Are elves normally green. " She posed as her purple eyes darted to Beth. "Oi. Where's the pork. " she stated after a quick observation of the carts content. In a quick motion she disconnected the ropes that held her aloft, the sound of metal clanging before the audible thud of the massive orc sounded with her legs meeting the ground. Ralshafina stood tall before her right arm drew forward, axe in hand as she threw it behind her and into the tree to rest. "I need meat in my diet. I can't live on stew and vegetables. " she bellowed before making her way back towards the setup, her feet skidding to a halt as she looked down to Charitina.
"...Yes. The mayor enlisted us to fashion a new city out of this tree." she answered more or less alluding to her previous question. "You lost er what. " she asked as she knelt down to take a knee, more head level with the woman as she examined her a little. More up close one would easily spot her protruding teeth, sharp and rather clean despite being exposed to the elements, hair that almost begged to be compared to that of a fine silk in its texture and scars that lined her shoulders, forearms, elbows and upper thighs that could be seen. Adding to that was the sweat she had managed to work up but all the manual labor and wood pieces stuck in her hair.
"...well no sense being hungry. " she stated with a small motion of her head to the girl before pushing herself upright, waltzing over to the now lit tent with rather well crafted chairs to sit at. Ralshafina rummaged through the larger of the two carts, lifting an extra chair that was equally impressive and setting it alongside the other two. The one Ralshafina used was easy to spot due to its size as she plopped down, running her hands through her hair and across her skin to brush off the wood shavings. Her hair trailed down and slightly across the ground when she was done, head rolling to glance at Beth.
"Let me guess. Potato stew with venison? Bread as well I trust? Please tell me you got the ale. " she stated with a rather stern glance. Her priorities were easily set with her look and body language. After the questions she looked back out to the lone girl outside, head tilting towards the empty seat. "C'mon then. Gonna get cold I'd you don't hurry. " she stated before stretching herself out a little in her massive chair.

"An Orc?" Charitina considered this for a moment before jumping realising there was another person behind her. She swallowed her shock with a slight shiver being the only indication she'd been surprised at all. Her jewellery clinked as she moved around to look at the other woman behind her. Scarred as well and much taller than her. She'd been realising that outside of the plains and steppe almost all the women she'd met were more buxom and with rounder figures. To be honest it made her quite jealous. She'd always thought herself rather large and imposing and even her eldest sisters might have agreed. Rather disheartening she thought.
She couldn't help herself when she found herself face to face with the Orc woman she had at first thought quite beautiful but seeing her up close. Her finely chiselled features. Those fine ears. Those beautiful sharp teeth. Eyes that looked like they could kill a man where he stared. A gorgeous full figure and that jewellery made of bone to top it all off. The very image of a beautiful woman. Were it not for her breathing directly into Charitina's face she'd have been quite enamoured. As it was she moved herself immediately away her sword rattling in its sheath. She couldn't mask her fear completely given people were coming at all sides at her.
For a moment she listened to what was being said taking it in though half listening and half admiring the women around her. Listening to the orc Charitina now stared at the blonde haired woman. Attractive features but she had none of the fire that Charitina could see in Ralshafina there was something that drew her to the larger woman. It seemed as though they were here for a legitimate job and she was invited to stay for some time. Excitedly she moved towards the seat unable to disguise the bounce in her steps sitting down and looking at the other two women.
"Don't worry I brought plenty of bread of my own." Charitina beamed at the other women taking out some dark, very cheaply made, black bread from one of her satchels. Not the best stuff for a growing girl like herself but more than sufficient. She thought she might chime in on the "meat situation" however. "You know she's right." She directed towards the blonde woman half berating her half sharing her boundless wisdom. "Eating the hearts of your prey is a great way to gain their power." She lectured as though there was any truth to what she was saying and looked to the other two women for approval.

დElizabeth Bitechsen ☽Freelancing Blacksmith☾ I have ye flipping pork right here so quit your yapping! She said as she pointed towards a few packs of pork that laid near the piles of food she brought from the town. She took the next few minutes to set up the stove before walking over towards her forge to grab a few burning timber to get the fire started on the stove. Once the fire was started she brought out a large pot and placed it near the stove. She then began to cut up the meat and veggies for the stew she had in mind.
Nay I plan on cooking some beef stew and yes yes I did not forget the ale. She stated as she chopped away at the meat and veggies before tossing them in the pot. Next, she proceeded with the spices that would give the stew a nice flavor. Once all that was set she let the stew sit before walking over to grab the mugs and one of the barrels of ale. I do not think I asked for your opinion young lady. She said, glancing towards Charitina as she handed the larger mug to her orc friend. Eh I'll pass on eating the hearts of my prey.. that sounds plain gross to me. She cracked open the barrel and poured herself a mug of ale before taking a seat in her chair.

¤ Ralshafina ¤ Location : Forest town. What was the name... Company : Beth's and a newcomer.. Feelings : Curious... Really should sharpen my axe...
Ralshafina tilted her head to the side, hand firmly pressing to her neck for an audible snap and crack to ring, followed by a long exhale. "Woods pretty high quality. Tougher than those dwarf mine roots we had to burrow through. Least the airs open here with the sweeping winds." she stated towards Beth as she smirked at her barking back on the matter of the pork. "Blame my adoptive farmer family for getting me hooked on bacon!" she stated after flipping a rather rude geasture to Beth, one the two shared to one another in a joking manner but others may take great offense to. Her nostrils took in large sniffs as the scent of the food starting to cook up filled the tent slowly.
"Appreciate the pork Beth. I'll get the water barrels tomorrow as well. See about lining up the nearby falls for washing and such as well with the elders. " she mentioned as she moved and adjusted in her chair to get a bit more comfy, her right hand idly flicking pieces of wood splinters from her chest and upper torso. Her eyes glanced to the small one that skipped into the tent, then shifting to the rather pathetic load of bread she procured from her satchel. Ralshafina huffed lightly and leaned from her chair towards the woman, hand reaching out to firmly snatch the bread away to bring it to her nose.
"...this normal to have round here..?" she asked with a rather odd look over her face before dropping it back into her hands. The bit on her being right and then the comment on eating the hearts of an enemy caused Ralshafina to chuckle softly, the light huffs of air pushing some long strands of her hair away. "Bah let her talk. We have what works for us. Besides, reminded me of my cousin Thrak. " she mentioned as she accepted the mug, her left hand raising to fondly ruffle Beth's hair as she normally did to show appreciation without saying a word as she moved to fill her mug up.
"Yep. Always eat the heart! Ain't a real orc if you don't! Died of salmonella. " Ralshafina stated before chuckling to herself again as she took a large swig, stepping back to her chair to fall into it with a subtle thud. "Gotta name jingle?" she asked raising a brow as she pushed her hair across the back of her chair, trailing behind her a little. "Oi. Beth. I'm thinking we could get some pretty good wood for that toolbox I promised you outta the center if I section some spots off tomorrow. Still got that high grade dwarven metal to line it?" she asked as she drank a bit more of her ale. Pretty good stuff which she indicated with an approving tip of her mug with.
"...come to think. What are ya doing out here this far?" she directed towards Charitina as the stew began to boil a bit, the smell of the stew now filling the tent which caused Ralshafina to give another inhale and delighted sounding exhale out. Seemed like a good first night at the job site of the locals had this kind of food and spices.

"Oh." Charitina mouthed near silently before sinking a little deeper into her chair. "Sorry." She said non comitally with a voice before having her remaining loaf of bread snatched from her by the orc woman. She wanted to resist but felt as though she was being completely dominated in this conversation. Before she could even mount an attack to defend herself her bread was already being berated for looking unusual. She was half expecting her to take a bite of it before handing it back but was glad to see that Ralshafina had returned her bread to her. She didn't really have the money to buy much more bread and she'd been sleeping rough the last few days (usually in trees as they were the safest place) and was glad to have it back. She tore a piece from it and then stuffed it away again. It was hers after all and she didn't want anyone else to have it.
Her mood perked up as did her eye level hearing Ralshafina's approval however (sarcastic or otherwise being approved of was always a nice sensation) she began talking again louder this time.
"Yes. Mother always said waste no part of the animal and the heart is the source of their power. It'd be silly to not eat everything." She smiled clearly having taken a liking to Ralshafina who'd been more openly approving of her practices as an outlander as well as being compared to a relative. A comparison she took more seriously than perhaps Ralshafina did herself. Now fully convinced of her position within this small group she began to open up.
"Charitina Valentina, I'm from a bit more easterly than here and in self imposed exile until I'm married." She considered what was going on for a moment. Two women of their clearly older age (or so she presumed from their confidence and Ralshafina's hands) and yet she hadn't heard a single male voice since leaving the village she'd followed Ralshafina from. Where were their husbands? Although it wasn't unusual for women to go about their business (for example a raid on a village) without their husbands it was unusual to be living completely alone. "What are your husbands like? I presume you two are married right?" She'd found it a lot more common for women to be married later outside of her settlement and now she was starting to realise women weren't only getting married to men and some weren't even getting married at all! This conversation also was a good way to deflect from the fact she had been following Ralshafina and only half answered her question.

დElizabeth Bitechsen ☽Freelancing Blacksmith☾ I blame them and everyoe you met for your love of bacon Ralshafina She stated as she flipped the rude gesture right on back. After a few moments, she began to laugh before relaxing back in her chair. She took a long chug of her ale before looking back at the new girl. She continued to talk on about the heart of the animals, which caused Beth to gag a bit. There was no way in seven hells will she ever eat the heart of an animal, even if it gave such source of power.
Again I will pass on eating the heart of the animals.. just.. no She shook her head before taking another chug of ale before glancing towards the cooking food. The scent of meat and spices were starting to fill the air and it was causing her to salivate. She turned her gaze back to Fina as she suggested on setting up a place to bathe later tomorrow if the elders permit. It was a good idea to try and secure a place for bathing. I mean, not like these two want to be soaking in sweat the entire time. At that moment the newcomer asked about their husbands, which got a laugh from Beth. Girl do you see a ring on our fingers...? Nay we are not married. I will not let no man tie me down... though I cannot say that about an orc...

¤ Ralshafina ¤ Location : Forest town. What was the name... Company : Beth and Charitina.. Feelings : Curious... Really should sharpen my axe...
Ralshafina watched and observed the small girl, head tilting slightly as she seemed to almost protest her grabbing the bread from her own hands. "Customs don't make much sense to me. But if you absolutely have to then why not? I mean we make every use of the trees and such we harvest Beth. Kinda like when you had me dig out that mine. " she pointed out sniffing the wonderful aroma of the food cooking. Beth may be a blacksmith but the stuff she did with food had Ralshafina convinced they could open an inn if their own with her as the cook and they'd be set.
"Chari...Valent...Tina. That's a nice name. Tina. In Ralshafina. Freckles is Elizabeth. Exile?" she asked with a now raised brow as she took a swig of her drink to finish it off before making her way from her chair back to the ale. "Sounds like a hassle. Arranged marriage just so your welcome home? I'd tell em to stick it just like I did to my old man. " she stated with a nod before slipping over to check on the meal. Far too hungry after a hard days head start on the tree. The mention of marriage caused Ralshafina to almost turn completely around, brow fully raised and an almost baffled expression.
"Huh? Husband? I don't think there's too many guys who want to bed with someone larger then them and stronger. Not counting the teeth. " she stated as she flicked one of her teeth before Beth mentioned her. "Say what you will Beth you already tied yourself down with the business the day you begged to come along. " she mentioned before grabbing three bowls to begin scooping food into. Once her left hand was filled with bowls stocked to the brim she covered the pot, snagging some more ale before walking back to the chairs to hand out a bowl to both Beth and Tina, taking her seat once again.
"Well Tina. Why you need a marriage? Arranged thing?" she asked taking a large portion of her soup directly into her mouth, devouring it in an instant. Her low rumble sound of content reverberated a few seconds before she stood up to go back for more. "Perfect as always Beth. What do I owe you for this meal?" she asked as she dished up again, shifting her attention back to the two in their chairs. "Either way Tina, Your a bit far out from the village. Planning on leaving or staying?" she asked as she simply scooped the stew from the pot into her mouth with her bowl. Delicious.

"A ring?" Charitina said inquisitively while trying to not make it too obvious she was also taking in the smell of the food. Whatever it was it had to be better than a diet of rye bread and water with the occasional fruit borrowed from a tree that she was sure nobody would miss. Better to suffer in silence for a little time and head on her way in time.
"What does a ring have to do with it?" She said asking now a genuine question. It did seem somewhat unusual that people began to wear rings the further west she came. For her rings were too great a liability unless they had a function. She remembered some women she knew wore them and had runes inscribed into them which allowed for some impressive feats but why would a weapon signify a woman's marital status? Nor could Charitina imagine why a man would tie a woman down. If anything other than having to undergo pregnancy it would give her the freedom to do as she pleased.
"I'd always been told practices the further west you went were a little more barbaric. Why would a man not desire a woman like you Ralshafina. You're very beautiful." Speaking honestly with women had always been one of Charitina's stronger points. Shy though she may have been at times discussing a woman's beauty was a subject that got her "fired up" as she may have described it. "What man could resist you anyway?" She said unaware of how Ralshafina would interpret what she'd said. "You should march right into town and have your pick!" She finished her aggressive nature starting to flare.
"As for me well. I told you. I'm in self imposed exile." She sighed before beginning her story considering it somewhat embarrassing. "I've been involved in numerous raids on villages where there was a pick of men to be my husband but I've always rejected them. Something about them I dislike can't put my finger on it. Mother's patience was getting thin so I said I'd go raid the capital find a husband there and she seemed to be mostly happy with that. I've agreed not to return until I'm married which is fair I suppose." The truth of her situation was becoming more apparent now. She wasn't being forced into an arranged marriage but was looking for a suitable man to be her husband by kidnapping and then presumably enslaving a man. An at best curious and slightly barbaric practice even in the matriarchal human society.
"Anyway. I'm just on the road for now. Trying to make a bit of money to get from place to place you know how it is? The jobs ran dry after a while so I'm heading over to the next place on my journey" She half lied. A lot of the work was manual labour and really manual labour wasn't her forte. Tina though. That name annoyed her slightly though she didn't really want to say. It made sense but she felt as though it almost reduced her in stature. Not worth worrying about though it seemed to be a mostly affectionate nickname even if it wasn't one she liked.

დElizabeth Bitechsen ☽Freelancing Blacksmith☾ Well I have heard in some places one would bare a ring upon their finger as a symbol of marriage. She stated towards Charitina. This was what she had always thought but she guess every culture in this world was different and each had their own way of showing marriage status. She turned to Fina. Aye we do but you still will not be seeing me eat the heart of anything. She stated as she gave a wave to their new friend as Fina introduce them to her.
True True I am tied down to my work, who needs marriage anyways. She got to her feet and walked over towards the food, pouring two bowls of what she cooked. She walked over to Charitina and offered her a bowl before taking her seat. Hmm I say you owe me a kiss for the meal Fina She, of course, was teasing. Ralshafina nodded s little at the mention of a ring. "Symbolism and the like as Beth mentioned. I don't see the use of em since they'd get in the way of my work. Last thing I need is some cheap gold pinching my finger off. " she claimed lifting the bowl to simply guzzle the meal down, her arm raising to brush away the soup as it drizzled down a little. The mention of barbaric acts in the West caused Ral to nod. "That is exactly why. Orc don't have particularly large views on the world or a temper to allow squabbles. As you said. Barbaric. " she pointed out as she sipped on her ale with a raised brow at the compliment.
"Thanks Tina. Usually Beth's the one giving me a comment or two with one in return. But most guys don't typically appreciate green or being chosen like meat at a market. Plus I move a lot. They'd need to give up their lives and likely their pride to work under their wife." she mentioned before leaning back to hear Tina out. Strange how she seemed to find herself in such a predicament. "Not strong enough or simply too soft from the raid?" she asked as her body slouched in her chair. Beth seemed to jest with her again, causing a roll of her eyes.
"Need I remind you the last time you attempt similar shenanigans? You had gashes up your cheeks for weeks. It's amazing they healed. " she pointed out to remind Beth of an attempt in the last to sneak one. "I need you to focus on the bolts and lines we will need to set instead of some face wounds." she mentioned before her attention went back to Tina. "Does it gotta be a human? Plenty of elves that have high magic aptitude that would likely suffice. Or if you're feeling ballsy you could go after a dragon. That'd be a worthy husband to bring home." she pointed out before gulping down her ale.
"...What do you mostly favor in terms of work?" she asked as she set aside her ale and bowl, leaning more forward in her chair as she began to grow a familiar face to Beth, the inspection of a possible helper for a job. Part time but usually lucrative for themselves and the part timer. She turned to Beth and motioned to her axe and the door, almost as a sign to grab it for her and shut the tents doors for the evening.
...trees around here take an extra swing...

 დElizabeth Bitechsen ☽Freelancing Blacksmith☾ ~Timeskip till late at night~
After cleaning up after their meal and a bit of idle chat, Beth has begun on hammering away at her forge. She would be at this for hours before noting how late it was getting. Time sure does fly by She thought as she brushed some sweat off her brow. She set her hammer down by the forge before walking to a nearby stream to dunk her head in. Brrrr She shook the water off before walking back to their camp. Here she noted that their new companion, Charitina was fast asleep. Beth would smile softly to herself before grabbing her mug and pouring herself some ale. Theme(Well seeing as Pad yet to post, be he busy or something.. thought to time-skip and say his character fell asleep also.. a crappy post is crappy)
