Vin had sent word that he had discovered a new way of hunting that he wanted to share. Cor being Cor, couldn't resist and immediately headed over to take him up on the offer. He was fond of the hunt, no matter how it was done, as long as it was done, and he felt terrible being unable to bring himself to it of late.
He hoped Vin's new hunting technique would help snap him out of it.

Vin sat with a peculiar brown hat sitting upon his head, which worked great for disguising himself, and a long pole in the one hand. Beaming, he stood waiting for Cor at the pier. A stretch of humans sat on either side with coolers and beer looking out into he water holding similar if not greatly better quality rods than his pole. When Cor came closer, he walked up to meet him. "We found we can get specimens here. Lots of fish. Just here that just need food. The humans here wait for them and we wanted to wait for them too. We spent a entire day before and the humans pull them out one by one. They just take plastic and put it on a hook and set it out using spindled spider silk. Very smart. We wanted to try but very tricky. We just didn't want to sit alone so wanna talk with so we are not alone?"
He held out the rod. "Look at my pole rod fish stick. A human gave it to me when we stared at him. We found this hat too on the beach." He said, pointing to his head. "We can see if we can find another in the water or around. Makes you catch fish better."
Gesturing for Cor to follow, he showed him his spot which showed a rusted bucket of water and another container of pieces of colorful plastic bottle caps, worms, and various gummy candies. "The fish like bright things but fishermen argue must have worms. Brought taste ones from home but..." He leaned in. "...the fishermen do not taste test first. We will do better then them."

Vin greeted Cor with a surprisingly thorough explanation of what the plan had been and though Cor was not particularly sure of this idea, he was sure he understood the basics. He pointed at the pole. "We use this to catch fish, yes?"
Vin somehow also managed to read Cor like a book. Immediately after being introduced to the concept of the hat, Cor discovered that he too now really really wanted one. Vin looked like such a human that was waiting on fish. He looked around at the humans on the dock with similar hats.
"So we wait like we are prowling and then the fish catch themselves?"
Seems simple enough.
"And we might hunt up another hat too?"
Seems less simple, but he was hopeful here.

"Yes! We'll show you. Sit."
He moved over to the piece of ripped burlap he was using as a blanket and sat down, before picking about at the jar and pulling out a caramel. "Fish like random things. You put a thing on the hook and they eat it. Then you pull and them come up."
He pierced the candy on the hook and tossed it into the water. "We ....have to wait now for the right fish to come."
Sitting and staring out at the water, he then looked back at Cor. "Do you like water?"

Cor sat down beside Vin on the burlap and watched inquisitively at his demonstration of how to acquire the fish. His own idea of fish hunting involved a stream and good timing with his hands, especially when the fish were spawning so not paying much attention to anything that was not another fish.
At the question he gave Vin a curious look, "Of course. It is my favorite way to get clean."
