Cor decided to visit with an old friend again, even bringing him a box of chocolate spiders to express his gratitude. He felt much more assured now that he was fine and unharmed, at least physically, by the incident. He was hoping to find some sort of errand to make it up to him, in fact.

Vin was sitting in one of the office burrows, a brood of larvae from his original brood with him as he sat on the ground and worked on some paperwork while he let them mingle about him. When doing work because too difficult to focus upon whenever one of the larvae came to demand attention, he set the binder aside and laid on his back. After a while he was more or less a mat as the creatures moved over and over him, the Famine clansmen clicking from the back of his throat to them as his antennae twitched affectionately over them.
"We can go on walk soon yes? You all seem very restless."
His attention flickered when he saw Cor pass by the entrance of the cave and he called out. "Cor good friend. Hello."

Cor lit up as usual upon noting Vin and scurried over to see him. "Hello, Vin, how does the day treat you?" He peered over Vin curiously, suddenly noticing the squirmy little creatures and smiled and sighed. He missed when Dio was so small and helpless and his heart fluttered at the memory.
Right. Yes. He was here to see Vin, specifically, and looked back to him. "I brought you something," and with that he held out the package that had a familiar smiling cartoon spider on it. This wasn't the first time Cor brought him chocolate covered spiders to express his gratitude to the famine.

Still on the ground, he waved for Cor to come in and then stood up slowly as the box was presented to him. Confused, he took it and stared at it, knowing what was inside but not knowing why he was getting a present in the first place.
"Thank you, but we do not understand why we are getting a present. We didn't do anything." He smiled as he peeled the top off and saw the sweets set in each little ruffled cup. While he didn't like sweets all that much, the chocolate was mute enough and the spiders large enough to balance the tastes. It was the few times he actually got higher class spiders.
Smelling it,t he bugs started to climb on him and Vin stood up, holding the candy high. "No. Not for you. You will get sick. Still developing."

Cor laughed and then gently started scooping up larvae in his arms and tried to gently usher the rest away from Vin. "It is to thank you for helping to put my mind at ease. I was greatly alarmed by the memory lapse and was certain something was still wrong with me. Your inspection made me feel better."

"But you inspected us too. We just wanted to be sure for those we know. It helped us in case there was information. You helped in allowing."
He slowly sat back down so he could resume tending to the larvae he was overseeing. "We are glad you feel better though we are still not at ease. The question still remains. Things do not feel as if they will get better, but we have looked all over and found nothing to say why."

"Yeah," Cor conceded gently to the not knowing anything. That things were still wrong and there was no way to be certain. Not yet. He let most of the grubs back down but held one out to make funny faces at. It seemed to enjoy them and wiggled with excitement at each new face as if learning something new with each one.
