Terry felt his phone vibrate, alerting him to a message. He debated against answering it, deeply suspicious of every electronic device this dream held. What if that was what was connecting his brain to this dream world? Considering that Dorothy was the phone's main AI and that ALICE was supposedly the original version, could the phone be an enemy or an ally?
Drawing upon the numerous anime and videogames he'd played, Terry took a chance and checked the message. The sender's name on his phone displayed as Kyrie and yes, he remembered sending her a message not too long ago. It was weird that he never made a follow up, or no, he probably did so on purpose to avoid seeming desperate and needy.

Kim felt her phone vibrate and sat down, drawing one knee to her chest. The elevator was moving and her clothing. Really silks? Something was so messed up about all of this.
She peered at the screen and sighed.

She sighed and closed her eyes. It had to be Terry, and she was greatful to have someone familiar to talk to, even if just texts. This was like some kind of bad game and she wasn't given any rules to follow.
Terry stared at the response before looking at no one in particular, acting as if he was his usual supporting character self in his own life story. This would be the point the camera pans to his face inviting him to look at the audience and go "Well that was unhelpful," before sending another message.
Kyrie did not sound like Agata. The idea that his weapon was the small Death Guardian was becoming more and more viable. But in his, rather in Terr's memories, the Conquest Horseman known as Kyrie was quite a lot like a certain Sun Hunter back at the base.

Kim felt a wave of relief as she read the new message and she had to actually cover her face lest she start crying in happiness. A friend, it was who she thought it was. Terry had replied to her. She read her own name again and quickly started hitting the keys.

I have no idea what is going on here. I really don't. I just know that things seem to be getting out of hand and that is terrible in itself. If I can talk to Terry though he may be able to help me through this. Oh.. ugh he is going to see me in these... silk things.
Terry found himself smiling at Kim's antics. So that's where she'd been all this time? Given how many floors Dusk had, yeah, opening to each floor would take some time.

Kim stared at the phone and sighed, reaching up to bop a few of the buttons again. One by one some of them went out. Not all by any means but some of them.
She grimaced and started hitting the buttons harder, because as we all know, beating the snot out of something is a sure fire way of making things better.
Nope, but she was feeling a little less angry.

Luckily for her the elevator finally reached the bottom before she died of boredom, letting Terry see her art work first hand.
Terry stood there at the elevator, patiently waiting for Kim to finally reach the lobby. He heard the tinny ding, "Welcome, Kim." he greeted in that usual controlled monotone of his, less Death Horseman and more of the Hunter weeb.

Kim smiled when the door opened, revealing a rather surprisingly gothic looking Terry. The dark shadows under his eyes, the black clothing. It was so shocking. She was not accustomed to him looking like this, and yet.. it seemed right.
Kim of course was dressed in the pale silks, her hair a silvery blue hue. She looked at Terry a moment and...
Well it was like something took over her, and it felt right too as she leapt from the elevator toward Terry tossing her arms around him and kissing him full on the lips. Was it just part of the whole horseman thing or more? Did it matter? "Mine.." She murmured.
Both of their weapons likely would have had words about this, but neither were here..
Terry was prepared to explain to Kim just what he knew was going on, which unfortunately wasn't much, but all the same, he had something ready to tell her. But the Life trainee really should have known better than to expect any plan to work the way he expected whenever Kim was involved.
He was fine with the tackle-hug, she was a very physical person after all. The kiss though? He stiffened in surprised and pretty much sort of just stood there, eyes wide and looking down at the Sun Hunter in Conquest Horseman's clothing.
There were so many questions that should be going through his head but at that specific moment, at that exact point in time, Terry was not thinking of anything. It was very likely that Kim just broke him.

Kim dropped back from her toes and looked at Terry, realizing that her friend was now.. Um.. well he looked paralyzed. She waved one hand in front of his eyes. "Terry... uh..."
She prodded him lightly before stepping back. "Um.. I think I.. I may have... broke you?" She shifted a bit, twisting the toe of one foot into the ground, hands going behind her back.
When would she learn that Terry was fragile? She couldnt help it though, and she leaned over and poked his cheek with one finger.. "Come in Terry.. we need your help on this planet.."
Death-Terry would have been able to regain his mental faculties at a far quicker rate than actual-Terry. It took the poking of his cheek to snap him back to reality and the Horseman's pale, pale skin quickly started turning beet red. "Um." he said oh so eloquently. "I forgot what we were doing."

Kim stared at Terry for a moment then started to laugh softly, the sound far cheerier than her Conquest counterparts. She smiled and bounced back a step. "You were saving me from the Elevator ride of doom, and we were trying to figure out what was going on here. I am dressed weird, so are you Goth boy!"
She looked over her shoulder at the closing elevator. "So, where are we and why are we here?" I remember seeing Alice and her talking about something, but I admit I was kind of freaking out."
"I'm not Goth," Terry squeaked in protest before coughing to clear his throat. "Although Goths are Norse and most of Death Clan's aesthetics fall under that category." He mumbled beneath his breath in his usual monotone.
After Kim's succinct reminder, Terry was more than eager to latch onto something that wasn't him overthinking what was quite possibly the very first kiss he ever got.
"According to ALICE, it appears Dorothy's manipulating everyone in Dusk. Whether this truly is the Dusk or a mere simulation of the Dusk, no one is aware. We are trapped here and up until this point, all our memories have been kept away."
He proceeded to type a message to Kim on his phone.

Kim looked down at the message and flushed. "Uh, well actually, Kyrie is my middle name.." She sighed. "It kind of fits.. Lord have Mercy.." I think they were thinking that when they named me, as in, please have mercy on us cause she is a nightmare." Kim shrugged a little then leaned on a wall. "So.. we are like, in a simulation or is this real? If this really is dusk, where are the real horsemen and why aren't they killing us. I am sure they would notice mistakes we make."
With one hand running through her pale hair she gave a weak groan. "I didn't even know there WAS a Dorthy program. I guess it makes sense... Oz and alt that to compliment Wonderland."
It was strange how Kim was keeping the whole kiss out of her mind.. mostly. She blushed a bit and looked at the man before her. Had he always seemed so mature in a stoic way?
The widening of Terry's eyes was almost imperceptible when Kim informed him that Kyrie was actually her second name. Oh. Well. He certainly had egg on his face for what he'd just sent.
"I'm not certain which is which. And come to think, it is also entirely possible that our memories as Hunters is also fabricated and this is simply something that has been manipulated into us. Sort of like how the Tachikomas from Ghost in the Shell were arguing about who was Batou's favorite considering how they all shared their memories and-" he somehow managed to stop himself at that point.
"You should probably reply to my message so you have something to remind yourself with."
