Joy was not happy about her situation. The last time this happened, she was in Wonderland, then on the Island but not really, and it was happening all over again. How was she supposed to wake up? Why the ******** couldn't ALICE just leave them all alone?
She may have been a Hunter but in a Horseman's body, Joy felt like she had a shorter temper and was much much more eager to get into fights. She was ready to shred someone with her teeth. And the human side of her knew that that was wrong.
So rather than going around destroying things to calm herself down, she was gliding around on her wings while muttering Tagalog swear words beneath her breath.

This was actually Clyde's first time with this weird stuff. Somehow he had avoided the brunt of the weirdness since he had joined. Even so his memories were fuzzy. He knew something was wrong. He knew he wasn't really a horseman but he he couldn't seem to wake himself up.
Weirder was the bugs. They felt weird and comfortable at the same time. And there was a presence about them that reminded him of Vanessa but they weren't her. But maybe the were? Dreams could do odd things like that.
That weird glitch... yes the whole thing felt like a long dream. But which was real? Right now he was standing. He could feel the ground under his feet. smell the air. He could see a war horseman flying above him. Well either way he gave her a small wave.
Who was that? She seemed familiar but not. The name he was getting was Liya, but that wasn't who his brain was telling him it was. Oh well.

Joy was flying aimlessly and was getting really sick of this Dream s**t. She would have tried hurting herself soon but she didn't think it was going to be enough. That was when she spotted someone waving at her.
She knew him didn't she? He was obviously Famine but who was he really? Folding her wings, Joy dropped down to land in front of him, careful not to step on any of his bugs.
"Hey, who're you? Like, really? And please lang, don't try to play dumb with me. I am not in the mood, intyendes?" the shifting language was back. But whatever allowed the Horsemen to understand humans, it was still there, which meant the Famine horseman could only vaguely hear the accent.

"I'm Clyde. Wait... no Peril." which one was it? Clyde seemed to be someone he was. Was that the name he was trying to remember before?
The shifting language was confusing but also familiar. "Sorry, my head is a bit fuzzy today." he tosses her a small smile. "What do you want me to call you?" as in right now. Man she was so familiar. He just... couldn't place where.
There was this insistent dream telling him he wasn't famine but human, and he wasn't sure he should voice the dream, even if he slipped. Telling other horseman he had a dream he was a hunter would make things very awkward in the hive, possibly even deadly.
When she heard a familiar name, all of Joy's anger seemed to dissipate. She didn't care about the Famine bugs (they weren't real, this is all a dream, even if they sure as ******** felt real) when she all but threw her arms around him into a hug.
"CLYDE!!! You're Clyde! You're Moon Clyde! It's me! Joy!" she babbled in relief. She was from War and didn't have to worry about hiveminds and worries about that sort. She didn't even think about the dangers of admitting she wasn't really a Horseman because her suspicion of fellow Hunters being trapped here in this dream was proven right.

"Moon Clyde?" wasn't that his division? Wait the memories were a little stronger now. Island, crazy bull s**t he avoided. Maybe part of his problem was he simply didn't want to remember. But he remembered her. Cute tiny 14 year old her. That had been amusing.
"Yes moon Clyde." he was startled when she tackled him, and felt the swarm shift and huddle away in the folds of his cloths.
On some level that was kind of gross. Also kind of cool.
"Joy... Moon division... You make a lovely war pony." he patted her head. He touched the wings on impulse. Wait this all meant there was a problem. if she was here and not fallowing the rules of the dream that meant... something was wrong. He struggle to piece things together.
Clyde wasn't talking like the Clyde she knew and for a brief moment, Joy feared this Famine was just pretending to be him and had just been a trap. But he wasn't attacking her or pressing her for more details that could be used against her. He was simply just there, letting her hold him and playing with her wings.
The extra limbs shuddered at the touch and it was a stark reminder of how strange and surreal this whole thing was. She pulled away to look up at him (why was she so short here?) "Don't you remember anything about Moon?" she asked softly.

"It all feels like a dream. One that if I try to grasp it will slip away. I.... my head is all foggy." he shrugged. He couldn't figure out how to explain it better.
"I remember Deus... training... mostly fixing things." fixing all the things. Only ever fixing things.
"Are you ok?" he touched her cheek, fully intending to just check on her. She seemed uncomfortable with him touching her wings. He'd leave them be even it they were pretty cool. "If there is something I can fix, I'll do what I can."
Joy leaned into the touch, it should have comforted her, knowing she wasn't alone. But this just made her angrier and more frustrated over her helplessness. "This isn't good, I don't think this is something you can fix, Clyde," She wasn't insulting him but considering the s**t she'd gone through because of ALICE, "I don't know if ALICE is trying to help us or what but this world, this dream,"
She buried her face in her hands, God it had felt so wonderful to be a Horseman but knowing that they weren't, that they were human? she growled beneath her breath, "And now ******** Dorothy."
She brought out her phone and looked like she was about to throw it away.

"Alice? that one AI thing." the one that was confusing the ever loving hell out of him. "You seem to have more experience than I do on this." he admitted that fully. "I might not be able to fix it, but I can help."
He pulled her into another hug, this one a little tighter. The swarm was responding and moving around on him. He let her go and absently flicked a few of them off her. "Sorry, they seem to do what the want. But don't toss that. If nothing else you can use it for more info. And it sounds like that what we need first. information. You can't build a house without a plan, Joy." Yeah that felt right. More himself. Seems he just needed to be shaken from the dream a little harder. "We play by the rules for now, till we can figure out how to use them to our advantage."
Her wings flapped unconsciously at the sudden hug, but she calmed down well enough. At least, enough that she considered Clyde's words. She didn't like the idea of having Dorothy or ALICE so close by but he had a point. Her fellow Moon had a point. "Fine. Fine. I wont trash the phone. But once this thing stops being useful, imma smash it."
She huffed as her wings folded back behind her. "Do you think we're in some Life Division simulation or experiment?" She wouldn't put it past them, given the stuff they could be making with those runic techs they got.

"Ok once we are ready to go then we smash our phones together." he flashed her a smile and a thumbs up.
"Do you really think they can make something this... detailed?" he glanced around. he didn't feel like this wasn't the real world. The images from before felt more vivid but now... was also "real". What even was real?
"I feel so out of my league right now, I wish I could be more help."
"Maybe? I don't understand half the s**t they got up in their labs. I think we're all out of our league. How long do you think we've been Horsemen? Like, really been Horsemen? I got all these memories but they're obvs complete bullshit," she grumbled.
A beat.
"Is it weird? Having all those bugs in you?"

"Well if this is a dream like it feels like it is, it could be on a few hours. dream time is different from real world time. I've had dreams where I've thought I was wandering around for weeks and it's been five minutes." he shrugged. Of course some of those dreams were during his wandering period. Time worked different then too. "I don't really have a lot of memories.. just a vague sense of... well I don't know. I just couldn't remember much. It makes more sense now. Maybe?"
"Is it weird having cool wings and flying with them?" he shot back grinning. "Naw they are just.. Me? but more? They remind me of Van." where was Vanessa? Not that she ever talked much but... weirdness. "I can will them into doing things but it's like paining with a wide brush. Great for the side of a barn, not great for detail work on a bottle cap." it was weird trying to put words into the experience. But it was an experience. Definitely new. If he wasn't half worried about getting back to home, it would be a lot more cool.
The mention of the wings had her pair spread to their full width. It was like stretching an extra pair of arms, "It's kinda cool and weird. Like if I think about having them too much they start to freeze up, but if I just relax and let my body what what it wants," and she was hovering a few inches from the ground.
"I guess that's kinda like how your bugs work." She sounded thoughtful.
