Ok, I'm pretty sure most of you here have heard this myth before. Supposably animals can see ghost, and other spirits, that we can't because most of our third eyes suck like that. Well, I've never been quite sure what to think on it, though I've always held it open for a possiblity.
My cat is always chasing things that I can't see around the house when she is really hyper. (my mom says its the dragons thats she summoned rolleyes ) Most of the time I just think that she is just really hyper, except when she stops and looks at a certain area as if something was there. Ok, so I still dismiss it. Then, a few minutes ago, when she wasn't hyper, and just sitting there, she was staring at an area on the carpet as if (again) something was there. I would call her attention, for a second she would look at me, and back at the spot. Anyone else have pets that do this? Or does anyone know of anthoer reason why animals might does this, besides ghost?

Ya I have two cats that do this. Angel, our stray that we brought in (she was beaten by her old owner) and Cally ( short for Kolua, the alcohol, I just can't spell) We adopted Cally, she was found in a box at the side of the road. And well The both will chace nothing around the house, And Angel fears people in general because of her back ground so what I think the Cats are doing is chacing Orbs! because cats unlike dogs don't tend to chace people, I believe that they may be chacing orbs around the house and, maybe the spirits that can change to orbs when they become board turn in to the orb state and entertain them selves by intertaining Cats seeing as they can see them... Well those are my thoughts....

My dogs get really angry whenever they pass this unused room in our house. They can't stop barking and they're looking at this particular space in the wall. It creeps me out because the opposite side of that wall is where our next door neighbor committed suicide.

Eirisse My dogs get really angry whenever they pass this unused room in our house. They can't stop barking and they're looking at this particular space in the wall. It creeps me out because the opposite side of that wall is where our next door neighbor committed suicide. maybe your neighbour comes over for visits every now and then...

I think so...... my dog does some wierd things...... but I know they aren't bad things............ because he doesn't bark~ he jsut kinda pays atention to it like if they had a ball~

My dog dose that somtimes.
My cat's used to do that when they were still alive all the time...
...as far as my parents were conserned but I was little then and I could sware I saw things too...

Is your mom from Irish descent then?
Cuz 'they' can do that.
It's not that hard to do, but you got to be gifted.
XD I would, but the act of summoning is a bit to wierd for me!
My friend has a dragon familiar.
It's kweel though.
They act like mm, your average guardian angel.
Cept you 'can' hear them growling if someone is trying to threaten you.

I don't believe that sort of stuff, I think it is mearly the power of perswation witch plays in to a major sycological part of a person.

Yeah, I read somewhere that humans only use a small percentage of their brain, and that telepathy, the third eye, and all that other stuff is activated when you use up the remaining percentage. Maybe animals use a bigger percentage of their brain than us.

Cept you 'can' hear them growling if someone is trying to threaten you. Actually, she is MOSTLY irish descent. Though there is a tiny bit of native american in her. I still don't believe her when she says that though. For a few reasons. First, she got the spell out of a book that I don't trust too much. Second, my mom has a problem with horror, she couldn't watch the village. Something tells me she is more so trying to make up an excuse why its not a ghost.
