It was laughable to think of Maebe being a guard for anything, but she was ready to try and fulfill the duty placed in front of her. She took her post in front of the Paris Embassy, rested her back against the building, and waited for something crazy to happen.
Sure enough, the local populace were riled up by a whole herd of War clan visiting, and she along with her fellow clansmen were asked to step in and keep the peace.
Peace, she thought, as she caught sight of the Hunter coats lurking in the midst of all those mindless humans.
Peace. What a joke.

Rolled below hunter damage: 268 732/1000 Maebe caught the sight of the Hunters almost immediately. At least she was good at slinking into the mob of humans unseen, failing to attack them as she picked off the Hunters one by one. She was left with bloody fingernails, messy hair, and a few missing bandages, but at least her and the Embassy were both fairly intact. For now. The mob waned, at least temporarily, and Maebe returned to her post to lick her wounds and prepare for another round.

The second wave came in the form of a rioting mob, pitchforks and torches and all. She didn't even know modern day mobs used those kinds of things anymore. It would be cute, if it wasn't directed straight at her. She fought them off successfully, clawing tooth and nail until all fires were extinguished and every pitchfork was in splinters.

And here they went again, attacking with a smattering of Hunters in their midst. Maebe went straight for them, a little more bloodthirsty this time around.
