The treatment keepers have taken to pulling in any idle horsemen found at the spa or even in the Dusk to come spend a shift helping feed and care for the spa's special swarms of cultivated insects and unusual plant life. You're set to supervise a tank full of leeches. It's an incredibly boring job until the leeches begin to grow. And grow. And grow until they're the size of a fat man's leg. The tank breaks. They're surprisingly fast and wily for leeches and it's up to you to catch and corral them all. Roll 1d10 until you succeed by getting a 6 or higher.
The Moth Room needs cleaning and it's not a very glorious or interesting job until you start to hallucinate and the walls begin to melt.
The Music Room allows you to enjoy a peaceful shift feeding its inhabitants as they are trained in their next composition.
The tapeworms need to be taken for discreet walkies. This process involves placing leashes and collars on tapeworms and then walking them around, whispering encouragements to help motivate them to be their best wormselves. Roll 1d10 until you succeed three times by getting a 3 or higher.
The Nagev Garden is full of helpful plants that wont just melt away fat but also clean the bones underneath as well with an enthusiastic efficiency! Feeding them is a pleasure if you life watching meat get torn apart and some of the plants will even let you pet them after. Roll 1d4 to determine how many fingers you lose during this shift. (Don't worry, they'll grow back by tomorrow.)
The maggot farm has gone missing and the spa needs your help in finding out where it's gone off to. Was it stolen? Did their Fear Makeup get altered in an experiment, transforming them into something new? Did something eat the whole thing? You don't have to roll for success, you just have to tell a story to the shift supervisor.

After walking the tapeworms last time Thias decided he would return to take another part time job with a few of the insects that were located at the treatment center. He hoped he would get a chance to walk them again however instead he got a different assignment in the Nagev garden with the plants. There was a look on his face when he was assigned them, he wasn’t entirely sure that he would really be any good with plants considering his specialty was mostly insects but he figured he would go along with it and see how well he could handle something that at times were more beautiful then him. Much to his surprise the plants were rather much more lively then he had imagined they would be, they not just stood there bobbing their heads to the faint breeze but actually moved as if they were some sort of creature instead. It was fascinating.

What was even more fascinating was tossing them a chunk of undetermined meat and watching them eagerly devour it, bone, fat, all of it seemed to be gobbled down their large mouths and thick throats with ease. Thias almost wanted to take one home, study what sort of internal solution allowed them to digest things so easily, and maybe use them to clean up whenever he needed them too on occasion. Getting close to one that was purple with faint dusting of yellow dots he scratched it under what only could possibly be considered its chin, musing to himself for a moment before realizing that at least four of his boney fingers had disappeared.
The fact that he didn’t feel it amused him even more.

Even with four fingers missing it didn’t seem to stop Thias from coming back later in the day to check on them and feed them again. It just allowed him more time to study them and how they ate, how they with little effort tore pieces of the meat and tilted their heads back to gobble it down bit by bit. How their thick throats bulged as the meat moved down and slowly little by little seemed to grow smaller and smaller as it reached down to the roots and spreading out over the leaves. It was by far the quickest digestion he had ever seen in any sort of creature, plant, like thing he had ever met and it would have been great to add such sort of abilities into an insect, maybe something with wings that could fly over an entire city?

He couldn’t resist sitting down again to take a moment to pet a smaller plant, this one in some ways gave him a vague reminder to the rather over excitable war stallion who seemed to be rather attached to him. Not to say he didn’t have interest in him either, but Thias wasn’t entirely sure how he felt at that moment. Love was still too strong of word for him to dare to use, while he didn’t want to lose him to someone else at least not yet. It was a myriad of emotion as he rested against the plant, not even paying attention to when it gently nibbled away another two of his fingers. He sat there for a few minutes longer before shaking his head and getting back to his feet to leave.
