It was odd, how comfortable Maebe felt in a bank. She had dressed in actual appropriate clothing, which made her feel itchy and unable to move freely, but at the very least she was aware that she looked absolutely sexy and that was a nice added bonus. She walked in and took a seat, waiting for her boss of the day to make his appearance. His cold demeanor didn't phase her in the least - in fact, she appreciated it. This surprised her, because she usually liked men who were warm and cuddly, like Bjorn. Perhaps it was just easier to work with a man who she didn't like.

She was given the job of calling in loans. This was a task that required a little bit of coldness, on her part. She was told that this was the most infamous task of this bank, which was nice because it meant people knew what to expect when she interviewed them. This was also nice because it took a lot more than a smile or a beg to make Maebe actually care about someone. She was happy to do what the task asked of her.

Her client was dressed impeccably, and looked like he was going to attempt to talk Maebe under the table. He used several sickeningly sweet nicknames to try and get Maebe to budge, but in the end, Maebe's vacant eyes and never-moving smile did not give him an inch. He didn't seem moved by her, as well. It was a stalemate, and he found no interest in continuing it. Perhaps that was why he decided to repay his debts that day, instead of continuing to push the envelope. Had she just bored him into it?

She'd take it.
