Patrolling was quite new to the both of them, and Takamizawa found himself wondering what exactly it was he was supposed to be doing. Yes, apparently he needed to stop the bad guys, but what was he looking for? Buildings to suddenly be wrecked? A bunch of people being hurt at once? Or just some woman having her purse stolen? Whatever it was that he was supposed to be doing at this point, all he knew was that he really couldn't see anything considering it was so dark now. Even though the sun set later during the summer, apparently they still had to wait until it was much darker out to be able to go and look for those that they were to defeat. Or at least that's what they agreed on. After all, these evil doers wouldn't want to be committing their crimes in broad daylight, right? He turned to his kitty companion. "Thank you for coming Itsuki. I know we're both new to this, but it does help having someone else with me here." Kami wouldn't hesitate to admit when he needed help at least. Especially with something such as being a magical boy. "But... do you know what we're supposed to be doing? Or at least what we're looking for? I mean it will probably be obvious when it happens, but if you know anything, that would be great." He didn't expect the cat to know everything though. "If you don't know though, we can both figure this out together, right?" He said, smiling confidently at his patrol companion.

"Myaaa~" came a reply, the lilac-point feline draped over Takamizawa's shoulder. He so liked the ride, the height and the breeze in his fur. The summer sun was actually helpful to the pair - the light lasted much later than it normally would. The extra light afforded the pair an advantage against anyone who might have wanted to sneak up on them. And speaking of... "Kami-chan, this will be a great first lesson! You may not be able to see the bad guys first, but you can feel them! Close your eyes, Kami-chan. You must concentrate and you'll be able to feel other people's energy! Try it!" Even Itsuki closed his eyes, listening to the bustling city below them. He could easily sense Takamizawa's signature. It was a calm, white light on the horizon, friendly and inviting. "The good guys have energy signatures that feel like friends. Everyone who has magical powers has an energy you can sense when they power up. You can't sense them when they're in civilian form. Like you, Sachio-chan! Think of it like stealth mode~" Itsuki nodded enthusiastically, his soft fur brushing against Takamizawa's cheek. "The bad guys, the Negaverse, they have bad energy signatures. Like darkness. That's how you might know where they are!" Of course, the next lesson would be ranks, but one thing at a time. One had to build a strong foundation to ensure success!

Kami didn't mind the kitty being draped over his shoulder, and tended to every so often scratch either Itsuki's head or chin. It de-stressed him a bit to be able to have a pet to dote on for a bit. He was surprised that his family didn't have one already, though he supposed it was because everyone was too busy to take care of one. Maybe Itsuki could join them? He would probably be a bit more independent than regular cats, though he couldn't be sure. Kami was happy that the nickname had caught on with the kitty though. "Feel them? Well, at least I won't be too surprised when one tries to approach me." He stopped for a bit, trying to follow Itsuki's directions and feel for the enemies signature. Although Itsuki described what the Negaverse signatures felt like, really though, Negaverse as the name? Though he still wasn't sure how he would be able to tell. Bad energy? Did it hurt or make one scared? Or maybe when he felt it he would just... know. He still tried to concentrate and feel around for a bit but he... didn't really feel anything? Well, except for Itsuki on his shoulder, and what he assumed was the cat's aura. It did feel warm and inviting at least. But so far, he hadn't felt any other signatures. He sighed, and resumed his patrol again. "Well... I felt your energy signature at least, but I couldn't tell if there were any Negaverse signatures out there. But hey, can't blame anyone considering that we're both pretty new at this!" He said, reassuring Itsuki with another head scratch.

SSBrosB If you're unable to find a good Chaos peep to use, then I'll see what I can do! The chin-scratches were much appreciated and incredibly distracting. Thankfully Takamizawa had enough presence of mind to wait until Itsuki was done speaking to commence with the scritches. Otherwise, nothing would get finished. "If there aren't any out there, that's good news, myaa~!" he explained, kneading gently into Takamizawa's shoulder. He couldn't help it. Happy cats knead. "You can feel other senshi like yourself too. Senshi have three levels of power - basic, super and eternal! They will feel friendly but more powerful as they go up in rank~ You'll get there too, someday, Kami-chan! Myaa!" The fact that no Chaos was lurking in the immediate vicinity was both a blessing and a curse. Takamizawa needed to learn somehow, and without a Chaos signature to at least feel, there would be no good examples to set. Without Chaos though, Takamizawa was much safer. Itsuki sighed. This simply wouldn't do! Maybe a youma would work? They felt chaotic as well, just a different flavor. At least, that's what the files at Headquarters beneath the tower. "Myaa, say Kami-chan, did you notice you can move faster and jump higher when you're powered up like this? Myaa! Senshi magic gives you better stamina too! Pretty neat, isn't it?"

The cat's words were reassuring. After all, even though Kami was doing the best he could, he still had to learn about everything and a little help from someone or something? else was always welcome, even to him. And clearly the cat wasn't being condescending to him or anything. He was surprised though at what the cat said next, not about the feeling stuff though that was nice to know, but about the moving faster and jumping higher. "Really? Do we want to try that out then right now?" He only slightly asked, smirking as he looked up at one of the buildings. Without warning, he decided to try jumping onto the building and crouched down, making sure to hold Itsuki on his shoulder so the cat wouldn't fall off. Then, when he felt he was ready, he sprang up! He was not expecting the feeling of actually being able to do it though and when he landed on the rooftop he stumbled a bit, but ultimately managed to keep his balance. He stood up, breathing out a bit. "Wow, that was amazing! Maybe we should try it more-" He was interrupted though when he felt... something. Something wrong. He looked at Itsuki. "Itsuki... is that what a negaverse agent or youma feels like?"Lucifer Force I'm terrible so here's my reply finally XP
