[ JOB LISTING ] Inventory Manager [ DIFFICULTY LEVEL ] gaia_stargaia_stargaia_star [ TASK ] Monitor and list all incoming and outgoing inventory.
"Okay, look," Adelaide seems very irritated. "We just had two trucks come in and drop off their goods. Those nincompoops," she points at two part-timers, "unloaded everything without marking things down." Eight large boxes are sitting on the dock.
She hands you a clip-board. "I need you to check each box's invoice and decide where it goes. If the invoice says 'Cavalry' you just put an X here," she points to the bottom left corner of the paper, "and have those boobs stack it over there. Don't actually count Cavalry boxes in the total number of boxes on the form. If it says anything else on the box, I need you to open it and make sure the invoice matches. Fill out your report when you're done."
Roll 8 d4: These are the boxes, and there are 8 of them. For each box follow the instructions below and RP accordingly. --If you roll doubles, it means you have two of that particular box and need to follow it's instructions twice. Same with triples, etc.
This box says it holds one complete silver dinner set. Roll 1 d10 to see what's missing.
-----If you roll a: -------1. Everything is there. -------2. It is missing the gravy boat. -------3. Two spoons are no where to be found. -------4. One serving platter is listed, but not in the box. -------5. Three forks have magically disappeared. -------6. One spoon and on butter knife are missing. -------7. Everything is there. -------8. Two plates are missing. -------9. There are NO forks in this set. WHAT?! -------10. Everything is there, but the large serving platter has a huge gouge on it. Best make a note.
This box is supposed to hold on large grandfather clock. Best check for damages. Roll 1 d6. If even it's in perfect condition. If odd the glass on the front is broken. You had better make a note.
Three large tapestries from the year 1400. Roll 1 d4. If you roll a 1 or 2, one tapestry is missing. If you roll a 3, they all have water damage. If you roll a 4, everything looks good!
This box is labeled "Cavalry". No need to check the contents, simply RP ordering the part-timers to stack it in the corner.
When you are done checking all 8 boxes, fill out the form below and post it in your last post.
"Thank you," Adelaide says as you hand over your form.

It was a never ending struggling between poor training plus unreliable help against the skill and experience of Horsemen who'd already done this before. Liya was only glad to find that she had a familiar face working with her this time around.
"Chaaaaao~" she greeted, practically flying to give the other horseman a hug. Acquaintance they may be but to a physically affectionate Horseman like Liya, they were all the same and would all get huuuuuuugs~
Liya War Horseman; Warrior Wild Arcana (formerly The Tower ) Journal - 5"0 tall - Mother hen - Loves you all!
Chao didn't want to come back and check what the idots had broken this time. But Adelaide had shown her kittens! Kittens! They where so cute and she got to hold one~!
She decided to help Adelaide where ever she needed it, partly because it meant she'd have an excuse to hang around and maybe play with the kittens.
"Liya" She had barely gotten the getting out when the other horseman rushed up and half slammed into a hug. "Good to see you as well."

"Gotta admit, I thought this was gonna be booooring and woulda liked to ask Adelaide iffin' I could personally teach these boobs to deliver things right. But you're here and that'll definitely make this job go faster!" she grinned expectantly.
"I agree, these boobs need to learn how to do their jobs correctly. Hopefully Adelaide will be able to get competent help soon." Chao Grinned back, glad that she would be working with someone fun.

"Let's sort the boxes out. You can probably already tell which boxes are alike," she started setting aside the ones marked CAVALRY, "Apart from the obvious ones." she laughed.
Some of the boxes (particularly those containing the grandfather clocks) were visibly bigger than the others. The dining sets rattled when you picked them up. Which left the tapestries as last. And if there were any new boxes, well, they were going to check them all to begin with.
"That sounds like a good idea." She moved the box labled Calvary to where it was supposed to go and then started to sort the other boxes by size. She wondered which boxes she should start with.
Liya got to opening the boxes that held tapestries and of the three, only one exhibited water damage. "Where do they store these that they keep getting water-logged? You'd think they would know better than to keep it somewhere it can get wet." she complained.
"Yeah, if the place keeps flooding they need to move it or fix the leak" she grumbled as she marked down one water damaged two all good.

"Let's hope that it is water that damaged them and not other bodily fluids. What if it was liquified human goop?" Probably not the most appetizing of conversations considering she was opening the boxes containing the dining set. One box was complete, the second was missing a gravy boat. Who thought of making a boat made of gravy?
"Human goo? That would be strange, hopefully it is just water." She moved on to the next set of boxes and started to catalog her findings. A gravy boat (weird), a serving platter where missing. The last box was complete.

Liya wished she could say that she was surprised that the last box contained damaged goods. But she wasn't. Clucking her tongue as she filled out the form, she asked Chao "Wanna see if Adelaide will let us play with those kittens some more?"
