He was exhausted, it had been a very ******** long day and he felt like he'd been all over the tower, top to bottom, up and down and there was nowhere else he would rather be. He hadn't found anything at all to evidence what had happened to the crystal and ultimately had mostly just achieved wandering around the tower hopelessly wasting a lot of time. He felt useless, more than useless. The only thing he'd even managed to do was to take out a small hunter base and even that hadn't reaped all that many rewards.
There was just too much to do ultimately and he just wasn't passionate enough or focused enough to make a difference. So when time wore on and it got late he wearily trudged back to Harrison's room on the Death floor of the building, wanting to curl up with someone familiar rather than sleep alone when he'd spent so long with mostly himself for company. If it hadn't been for Vin he wasn't sure if he'd even have gotten the checking the tower for intruders part of his day done. He was tired and needy.
Opening the door he went inside with a sigh. "I'm back." he said, and hoped that Jian was home too.
