Scouting was part of finding new fear and for whatever reason, be it through mixup of portals of simply someone who was doing the trip allocation wanting a bit of a laugh, Rep and Vin found themselves sent to Disneyland. The human disguises were mandatory of course but for once Rep wasn't too upset about it, mainly because he got to go somewhere with Vin who also was forced to suffer.
On the other side of the portal it was ******** hot. Hot like the jungle with the sun beating down intensely on them and the air humid and oppressive. They had to go and get a monorail thing to the park he'd been told and he was completely baffled what that was or where they went to get it.
He asked a park rep about it who reacted to his accent with a vaguely knowing smile and shepherded both of them over to a long white roofed car which lots of humans in t-shirts and sun hats were sitting in. He sat awkwardly behind an old lady with a young boy and tried not to think about how easy it would be to murder literally everyone on the whole car.
"What the ******** is this place?" he asked Vin anxiously as they moved like a caterpillar towards the gates. He was imagining something grand, some coliseum where humans would be fought to the death for sport, some strange and wild land where there would be endless fear to be reaped for their cause. "Everyone is so..../happy/."

It was a nice day out, with a unforgiving sun and rays that felt as if they could cause your retina to shrivel up and leave your skin blistering for weeks. In a shirt and khakis, Vin had went to collect fear with Rep only to be standing at the wrong location point. Not having a map of this location, he read the loopy script and bubbly signs like any tourist right off the boat would, and slowly looked over at Rep with a shrug. Whatever it was, there were a lot of humans around, and not just everyday downtown city lot. They all seemed to be wearing the same kinds of clothes as well, and everyone was eager to get ahead.
A monorail was just as confusing, and he didn't see why they couldn't take a trail or tunnel, which meant the location could only be accessed through special means. Curious, he got into the seat next to Rep and looked around. "Maybe they are going to a mass feeding. They are all many ages. If just old then we would say grave pit and if young then nest. We find people smile here for food. Maybe a fresh slaughter." A special occasion for a exclusive meal.
Not much interested in food, he leaned out of the monorail to look at the tracks before the attendant spoke over the speaker for him to keep his body and limbs inside the monorail at all times. Frowning, Vin looked back at Rep. "Maybe we are going to eat a Disney?"
