Tessa was taking a break from all the job hunting, and had discovered that she had a lot more gold than she thought she had.
Her own clothes were getting rather dreary and drab, and doing a repeated amount of jobs left her wanting to change into something... different.
The Famine Horseman found herself staring up at a vast array of clothing, eyes wide as she opened her mouth to gasp softly, hands slowly rising to press against her cheeks and pinch them.
Nope. She wasn't dreaming.
This was fantastic!
"There's so many choices... I might just... have to buy them all..."

Clothing was the least of Meelo's interests. Well, maybe getting out of them with hos constricting all the human clothing was. The pants were always too tight, the shirts covering too much and it always felt like his back was in a constant state of irritation - probably also with the lack of ever present wings which were always hidden by their glamour.
Maybe if he actually visited the shop that sold the evil human clothing, he could find something a little less awful, more fitting to his awesome nature. And maybe some shoes because the human world was nasty with what was left on the sidewalks and streets.
Someone else had the same idea (not exactly) it seemed. Browsing the racks of clothing as he was. Female too, he grinned. "Well hello there, howzit?" Putting on the extra charm.
name: Meelo journal:A link! clan: War (Soldier) arcana: Hermit description: Tall, tanned, lean, toned and tattooed. His brown hair is pulled into a man bun with part of the sides shaved. Eyes are green, clothes are barely there, a smile always present and wings are large, tan with red markings.
"Greetings! Isn't this place fabulous!?" Her eyes were wide and bright as she glanced from him to the clothing, and she reached out and grabbed a particularly ugly striped sweater, holding it up to herself.
"Isn't this so delightfully atrocious!?"

There had only been a few females that he had interacted with that had such an affinity for clothing, but they seemed to have a favor for a completely different sort of style; and as little as possible.' "I think it would be a little more enjoyable if they had clothes that had a little bit more.. room to move, ya. Flexibility." He reached out, feeling the texture of a skirt that was nearby. It felt so heavy. Though at least it had breathing room. (Though, humans seemed to take such offense with males wearing such clothing, it was bizarre).
His gaze shifted to the sweater she held up to herself and he couldn't help but laugh, "Aawe, I was given one of those when the gave out free stuff, wonder if that mwans something, ya?"
"Well, I'm sure you'd be able to pull it off," Tessa replied with a wink towards him, smirking as she moved nearer.
"I'm called Tessa. It's very nice to meet you! Would you like to go shopping with me?"
Maybe he'd be kind enough to pay for something, too...
"There's probably more designs and bigger clothing inside... if we want something that isn't going to constrict us." She glanced towards the skirt, taking it off of the rack and holding it up to him with a look of keen delight.
"This'd look good on ya."

He chuckled lightly, thankful for her response about the sweater. "Appreciate it," he gestured in a small little bow sort of thing.
"Meelo," he then offered with a grin of his own, "I would be delighted to shop with you this fine day." Even though he really didn't have the interest in clothing per say, but getting to accompany such a fine clanslady wasn't such a terrible way to spend the day.
Plucking the hanger from her hand, Meelo held it up to where it should have rested. It was obviously not the right size for him but he gave his hips a little wiggle anyways, allowing the hems of the fabric to swish about. Really, it wouldn't have been the most awful thing ever, "you think so? Its a bit short and would leave nothing to the imagination." It was his turn to wink.
Tessa reached out and smoothed the skirt over his skin, a faint blush coming to her cheeks as she stared at it a bit too long.
"Well. It would be... easy to take off, yeah?"
Oh no. Was she really flirting like this?
Oh no. She liked him.

Oh, oh ho, this was how it was going to go on this little trip. "Then there really is no point to it, ya?" His grin turned cheeky, "just best to wear nothing at all, which I don't mind. Less confining, ya." Not really far at all from the truth.
Meelo brushed past her, there was plenty of room due to her smaller frame but he made sure to brush against her ever so as he went to inspect another article of clothing. Bah, a thick sweater. Alright, another one, a short sleeve shirt. Not as bad.
Blushing brightly, Tessa just managed to keep from squeaking out as she went inside and started grabbing random clothing, just piling it on for something to hold onto.
Plus, she was collecting clothing anyway. For reasons.
She wanted a massive closet, okay? Don't judge.
"... if you want... you can come over, and... wear nothing at my place?"
Tessa felt like she was digging the hole deeper, oh no.

It was hard to hide his amusement from her reaction, watching her fluster in response just begged him to keep going. So Meelo did. A coy little grin and a knowing gleam in his eye as he kept glancing her way.
"Well, how can I say no to such an amazing invitation, ya." He reached over and plucked a green scarf very close to her while she piled on more clothes, briefly passing her hair. Honestly it had caught his eye due to the color and how lofty it looked, actually rather interested in the article of clothing for once.
Tessa pressed her lips together, wholly unsure what to say now. She was definitely interested, and the situation didn't help at all.
At least she had clothes to hide behind! Clothes she intended to buy... and add to her collection.
"Green would look good on you." She stated, glancing to the scarf and then to him with a smile, trying to diffuse the situation.
Unless he took it further, of course... which she wouldn't complain, if that happened.
"Plus, with a scarf, you can really wear it any way you want..."

Meelo held it up briefly to his neck, giving her almost a little show of it before he raised it a little higher to give it another look over. "Seems like a unanimous decision, ya." Perhaps he actually would purchase something today after all.
"You do have a point, seems like its long enough to wear like a wrap, ya." His fingers played with the fabric, displaying just how thin it was; how little it would probably hide but how blissfully breezy it would be. His grin never left his face really and he slowly pulled his gaze towards her, "you just collecting everything you see?"
"Yes!" Tessa beamed, glad to talk about something else because he was definitely really hot okay.
Breathing in, she calmed her beating soul, tilting her head at him.
"Collecting stuff is neat, but I want to be able to have friends come over and be able to pick an outfit if they're at a loss, ya know? Besides, it's fun to have different styles of clothing, because you never know what will strike your mood any given day. Maybe one day you wanna dress in ruffles, and another day in comfortable loose clothing." Rolling her shoulder, she shrugged as she gave him another smile.
Would it be too forward to ask for a kiss?
Probably.

For the most part, he really couldn't share her enthusiasm with the idea of collecting clothing. He himself had only had so many outfits in his lifetime, often only changing them as he grew as a fledgling or it got too worn out. There was never really an outfit for any occasion for him but Meelo could appreciate, at least, her spirit for the idea. And the notion of collecting items; he did enjoy them but mostly to tinker and add to his puzzles and courses.
"While I don't really see eye to eye on the whole clothing thing, ya," he gently reached over, placing a hand under her chin to lift it ever so, "I do admire your passion. Its cute, like you, ya." It probably would have been too forward to ask him for a kiss, even for him. Even so, he rubbed his thumb in a small circle against her cheek with great gentleness until he pulled his hand entirely away from her.
