[ JOB LISTING ] Transporter [ DIFFICULTY LEVEL ] gaia_star gaia_star gaia_star [ TASK ] Sometimes things need to be moved, quickly. Maybe it's a body, maybe it's only part of a body. Speed, discretion, and the ability to do away with obstacles are all necessary to complete this task. Quote: Several of the clan members who help run the spa have gone missing. Nobody is particularly worried about them as they are the type to like going on adventures without notice or anything approaching consideration for their co-workers. In fact, there's some who would just prefer those three never came back. Mr. E, however, just waves you over and you're pretty sure he's smiling at you. "There's a little delivery we need made, and you look entirely qualified to make it for me. You will, of course, be rewarded and your valuable contribution to HCorp acknowledged for all of eternity, so and so forth, please just go do it, yes? Be a good child..." Being a bad child doesn't seem like a very promising life choice. It's just a little cooler, firmly locked and sealed with something very possibly harmful to you. If you decide to unlock the chest instead of deliver it, roll 1d100. 1-99 means you are now poisoned and lose 10 HP for every post you make today (icly and oocly). If you roll 100, post quote lizbot to see what happens. The cooler can be delivered in any method of your choice, walking via portals, flying, even driving through the human world is viable. The destination is also your choice. Roll 3d6 and complete the 3 prompts Everything goes very smoothly and well. You are safe and also awesome at this. Your mode of transportation gets destroyed, cutting your HP in half. You must find a new way to get to your destination. You are attacked by humans, possibly bandits or possibly cops or possibly just really drunk teenagers doing it for their YouTube channel. How do you deal with them? Do you try to stay low key or do you get violent and hella magical with your badself? You are attacked by two members of Famine. Do you try to persuade them to let you go on your way or do you try to kick their a**? Roll 2d20. Each dice represents a Famine horseman. 15 and over is a success. Every failure costs you 10 HP. You must succeed twice. (Example: is you roll 11 and 17 in one turn, that is one failure and one success.) The cooler is stolen by birds. To catch them roll 4d4, if any of the dice is a 1, you fail to catch them. You've failed at your job today. When Mr. E sees you next, he's definitely smiling. You are attacked by a Hunter. You can choose to fight or escape. To escape, roll 1d20. Anything 16 or higher means you've gotten away. Anything less and you've been hit for 10HP and need to either try again or try fighting back. To fight, roll 2d8. The first die is you, the second is the Hunter. The one that is higher wins that exchange. The first to hit the other three times wins the confrontation. (In the case of a tie, your horseman wins.)

Working at the spa retreat was quite a pleasant experience, Siluhe was newly hired as an employee at the HCorp, which said to be for the benefit of mankind and specialized in the health and technology fields mainly. While The Hive focused on weight loss, the petite horseman checked herself, the firm and lean muscles she had only meant she found the idea of lossing weight weird. That was something human particularly had and she felt it was wise for Mr.E, the CEO of the HCorp to take the chance and made it a business. It couldn't be helped she developed an admiration towards the man. Thus, it startled her a bit when he beckoned her with a smile and asked her to do a delivery. Siluhe didn't find Mr.E creeper, even he was covered in black bandages and robes. He felt like a fatherly figure, who she hoped to get closer. She had heard that some of the spa workers gone missing, but it seemed to be normal for the Famine to take sudden adventures. Anyway, she was given a chest of medium-size, resembled that of a mini freezer. Siluhe nodded and promised she would make the delivery prompt and successfully. Evaluated the weight of the chest, the winged War decided the quickest way shall be via flying. She put the chest inside another chest with a shoulder strap and carried it onto her shoulder before setting off towards the sky. The weather was lovely and the delivery went uneventfully so far. Quote: 1. Everything goes very smoothly and well. You are safe and also awesome at this.

Even everything went smooth, the War horseman didn't lower her alert that easily. Through years living in the jungle taught her that dangers and accidents came in anytime, when you were not prepared for a second, you might be screwed. The obstacle courses at the base maintained and enhanced their awareness just for that. Siluhe was especially excelled in her intuition, it was the work of decades of trainings and influences from the environment itself. Still, she underestimated the fierce nature of the wild birds living in the urban. A gang of hungry birds attacked her and broke the strap attached to the chest holding the cooler. She immediately chased after them since she didn't want to disappoint her boss. With the weight added, the speed of the birds were lowered much. Just a few of glidings and she caught them up. "Give me back my thing," she warned in a monotone, big wings fluttered as if smoldering with displease. "This's not something you should touch," Siluhe stated with glare. The ravens hoping to add the chest to their shiny collection failed, they retreated in panic feeling the bid bird wasn't an easy target. Receiving the chest again, the petite horseman sighed in frustration. Now the strap had broken, she had to hold it within her arms. That would make her too vulnerable to assaults without her arms for blocking. In addition, she couldn't check the address of the destination with her hand. That was a bigger problem! She found a building and sat down, spent some times to check how much long she needed to travel before she flew for her destination again. Quote: 5. The cooler is stolen by birds. To catch them roll 4d4, if any of the dice is a 1, you fail to catch them. You've failed at your job today. When Mr. E sees you next, he's definitely smiling.

Soon she would reach her destination, yet, like people said the best always waited at the end. A group of young human stopped her in a dim alley. They toppled on each other and couldn't even walk a straight line. Siluhe frowned at them, she decided to walk past them as if they were invisible. Against her will, one of them reached his arm towards her and locked her against one side of the wall. "Get off." The petite horseman warned, arms covered the chest almost completely. "Hey lovely girl, why're you here alone?" A human male shoved his face close and asked. "None of your business," she had no time to spend on them and he reeked of cheap alcohols. Like the wild beasts, the War clan had good senses and that smell irritated her nose. "Ohhh so cold." A female leaned against one of the male snorted, she was wearing mini skirt and a tank top. "Look at she's hiding something....Hey, could it probably be the urban legend of those organ smugglers?!" Her voice raised and urged the teenagers to check her chest. "Do. Not. Touch. It." She gritted her teeth and warned again. As an elder, she would withstand silly behaviours of the youngsters but it didn't mean she would stay low key with idiots not listening to her advice. "Don't be so mean, girl. We can go and have a drink together?" One reached out to pull her arm, Siluhe sighed and her expression shifted to a strict fierce one. Supporting the chest with one arm firmly, she knocked out the man with a Karate Chop at the back of his neck. With that happened, the teenagers encircled her stepped backward. "Told you don't waste my time," said Siluhe. The petite horseman glared at the female who held up her phone in a shaky manner, she snapped it and destroyed it. "Run now or you'd like to be the next one?" The female yelled and fled. The scream seemed to awake the rest, as they soon joined the female and left the man behind. She gave the man a last glance, before headed towards her destination. Upon accomplished the delivery, she beamed happily since she shall be a good child now. Quote: 3.
