Ears perked up as in the distance came a faint sound. Tilting her head, was that her name? It was! As the sand went in between her toes with each step, the crimson and tan female made her way through the desert towards the one who called her. Kirjava smiled slowly as the figure in the distance was familiar! But...could that really be Aleu? It was! She couldn't mistake those eyes.
Bounding her way to her friend, she smiled brightly, "Aleu! It's good to see you." Stopping just in front of her friend as she added, "You've gotten bigger!"

Strong paws made there way through the sand. He had been looking for Aleu for a while now, after all she was his slave. He had spent time with Kijinga and how perfect it had been but now he had to find that slave of his, after all, she may be needed to cub sit or something soon. He could dream.
His ears pricked up as the sound of voices hit his ears. Seeing Kirjava and then Aleu, bigger but it was still her. "Aleu!" He shouted, a snarl in his voice. He hadn't had a great day, his hunt had been awful!

Just as soon as she met up with Aleu, Teleka had decided to come and ruin their time together. Would she ever have some time alone with her friend? Kirjava's crimson eyes looked to the male and then to Aleu who stood in front of her. Did she really need protecting? Yes, with her present state she did...Sighing softly, she just flicked her tail and kept her gaze on Aleu.

Teleka yanwed as he flopped in front of the femmes. H noticed Kirjava and her scent was obvious. He hadn't smelt it before but yet he knew what it was. He ignored Aleu for a little and turned to Kirjava, "You shouldn't stay here if you having cubs. It aint safe for them, or you." He knew he couldn't just let her go but at the same time he didn't want cubs killed, he loved cubs!
His brown eyes then rested on Aleu, "Calm down girl, geesh, now both of you follow me. There is somewhere on the borders of the land, a place I rested on my way home but either way Kirjava I suggest you kepp your cubs there when they born and for now you keep away from all other lions. Your scent is strong." He was a nice lion really, he just tried to act how he was suppose to in these lands.

Crimson eyes widen at the male, he found out just like that. Kirjava looked to Aleu and gave her a sheepish smile to confirm that it was true. But, as she looked to Teleka, she felt a bit embarrassed as she spoke in a soft voice, "I know...I realized that this wasn't a place to have cubs, but I don't want to be killed if I try to lea--" But her words were cut off to show her surprise. Teleka was going to help them?! Not saying another word, she followed after the male. Could she trust him? She had no other choice as she followed him with Aleu by her side.

Teleka led them away before he suddenly stopped. "I daren't go over there, too many lions around." He then pawed at the sand creating a map, it was clear enough to show both the femmes where the cave was. He then looked at Aleu and Kirjava, he hoped that they would understand the map ok. "Aleu, I suggest you dont stay with Kirjava, you can stay in my den and sleep there." He spoke in a commanding voice again though slowly added in a calm whisper, "If you wish to keep Kirjava and her cubs safe." He then looked around, his brown eyes looking around dunes.
No one there. Good.
"Remember that and lets go." He pointed to the map as he said remember it and he then laid down smudging the map before rolling and then getting up again, they had to get away from here just incase.

Returning the nuzzle affectionately, Kirjava took note and made sure she'd remember the map that Teleka drew on the ground. It seemed pretty straightforward to her, something she could remember easily. Crimson eyes gazed forward at Teleka with a smile, "Thank you." And with that, she was to follow Teleka, a bit sad that she couldn't be with Aleu as much as she wanted to, but then, she had to remember that she could be endangering the lives of both her unborn cub(s) and Aleu.
Thinking back to her conversations with Kiburi, she remembered talking about the "red pelts" and how mean they are. But perhaps, not all of them were mean, just trying to act it. Well, she pushed all thoughts away as she put her mind on the matter at hand.

Teleka smiled at the females as his stomach grumbled, he snarled to himself and grumbled a little. "You girls hungry?" He asked looking over his shoulder, "Please dont stand behind me, makes me feel all weird.. your not like.. that different to me.. at least stand beside me.. just if anyone else comes.. bow your heads or something?" He didn't like the idea of slaves but he needed Aleu just incase he and Kijinga had their own cubs. He needed someone to help look after them and stuff.
He then turned to them again and gave them some useful advice, "I dont know what the others are like about slaves, but well, I am the "stupid" twin so don't expect others to be nice. Aleu, trust me, you are lucky if I get to "keep" you." He smiled at them, stopped and stretched losening his mucles.

Nodding her head, Kirjava sped up a little till she was walking by Teleka's side. Crimson eyes looked around the desert landscape as she flicked her tail, "I am...I haven't eaten much but lizards and the like." It was true, Kiburi and her haven't had a good meal in such a long time.
Looking to Aleu, she remembered, "Oh! I remember his twin...I saw them during the comotion with the King and his sister." At her question, Kirjava didn't really have a straight answer as she wasn't sure herself. In a small voice, "I am sure it was a lion I had met previously, but I can't be sure since I haven't seen him since." She was starting to feel bad since her cub(s) wouldn't know a father.

Teleka smiled, "Yes I have a twin she is older then me, Mpeka she has mated with a lion here." He turned to Kirjava as she may know who he was, "The big birght male lion who suddenly appeared when Kwana was banned from the lands." He then turned the direction he was heading to where herds stayed on the lands borders.
He listened to the girls talk though didn't interrupt them. He had helped Kirjava as much as he could and he couldn't do much else. He would take her as his own slave as well if it was possible but, that was unlikely, he could ask right? No harm.
