Even if Kagerou had failed the last time he attempted his job, something compelled him to try again... maybe it was the butterflies that seemed to flutter outside his window. It reminded him of something, the feeling of being at the zoo. Even if the Zoo was more of a place for humans to enjoy, the conquest horseman had once traveled there. Or so he thought. Maybe this poor soul was going delirious from the pressure of having to try to process again.

The horseman appeared to hold his breath before each new patron came to him. He was filled with determination, he could do it! Right? Kagerou closed his eyes but for a moment before the next one sat down before him. He listened intently, or at least made it appear that way.. blah blah blah 'money' blah blah 'breakfast. Humans were so weird, although as a Conquest horseman he did have to admit he loved to indulge in the exquisite sort of things, and that costed money. But Kagerou didn't need to worry about money, he had what he needed.
"Uh huh, I see.."
Those were the few words that ever left from Kagerou's mouth, although a bit muffled because his scarf was closely pulled up against his lips. It meant that this job wasnt going very well. The horseman clenched his hands together under his long sleeves. He knew that Crane was going to be watching.. this was almost like his last chance, his way to revive himself from a near rejection forever.
Some time passed and the clock was ticking down, it was towards the end of his patrons that he started to find his grove, if just by a little. Hopefully this helped Kagerou get bummed up from a F to a C- in brownie points. That was it, the last patron came by him and he was able to sucessfully process the funds and things that needed to be done. A certain sparkle was in Kagerou's eye as he looked up to maybe get the approval of Crane, but he was stone faced like always. Oh well, at least it was a...
