[ JOB LISTING ] Inventory Manager [ DIFFICULTY LEVEL ] gaia_stargaia_stargaia_star [ TASK ] Monitor and list all incoming and outgoing inventory.
"Okay, look," Adelaide seems very irritated. "We just had two trucks come in and drop off their goods. Those nincompoops," she points at two part-timers, "unloaded everything without marking things down." Eight large boxes are sitting on the dock.
She hands you a clip-board. "I need you to check each box's invoice and decide where it goes. If the invoice says 'Cavalry' you just put an X here," she points to the bottom left corner of the paper, "and have those boobs stack it over there. Don't actually count Cavalry boxes in the total number of boxes on the form. If it says anything else on the box, I need you to open it and make sure the invoice matches. Fill out your report when you're done."
Roll 8 d4: These are the boxes, and there are 8 of them. For each box follow the instructions below and RP accordingly. --If you roll doubles, it means you have two of that particular box and need to follow it's instructions twice. Same with triples, etc.
This box says it holds one complete silver dinner set. Roll 1 d10 to see what's missing.
-----If you roll a: -------1. Everything is there. -------2. It is missing the gravy boat. -------3. Two spoons are no where to be found. -------4. One serving platter is listed, but not in the box. -------5. Three forks have magically disappeared. -------6. One spoon and on butter knife are missing. -------7. Everything is there. -------8. Two plates are missing. -------9. There are NO forks in this set. WHAT?! -------10. Everything is there, but the large serving platter has a huge gouge on it. Best make a note.
This box is supposed to hold on large grandfather clock. Best check for damages. Roll 1 d6. If even it's in perfect condition. If odd the glass on the front is broken. You had better make a note.
Three large tapestries from the year 1400. Roll 1 d4. If you roll a 1 or 2, one tapestry is missing. If you roll a 3, they all have water damage. If you roll a 4, everything looks good!
This box is labeled "Cavalry". No need to check the contents, simply RP ordering the part-timers to stack it in the corner.
When you are done checking all 8 boxes, fill out the form below and post it in your last post.
"Thank you," Adelaide says as you hand over your form.

Asuna wasn't exactly thrilled with this task, but it was for Adeline and it wasn't prepping lunches at least. Besides, her strength came in handy here, finally, and Asuna was happy to get some exercise. First task was to sort the boxes and figure out what were Calvary and what wasn't.
Didn't take too long. Only two boxes were marked with Calvary, and the other six needed to be opened. She had two boxes of silverware, two with grandfather clocks (supposedly), and two boxes full of tapestries to go through. Easy enough.
"Place these over there, if you would," she told one of the other employees, marking it off with an 'X' on her list.
Time to dive into the next boxes.
[NOTE: 2 silver ware, 2 grand father clocks, 2 tapestries, and 2 calvary ]
She began with the silverware - dining sets, excuse her, dining sets. People needed dining sets in silver? Did these humans not just... eat their food? They had to do it on shining sets of dishware? Dishware that would probably discolor and wouldn't hold up when fighting... anything.
Might as well get to it.
The first box was a perfect set. Pretty shiny, if she had to say so herself. She almost was tempted to take one of those tiny tridents - forks - and stick it in her hair as an ornament, but that wouldn't be a good idea. No, everything was there. Darn.
The next box was a whole set except... hmm, the large serving platter had a giant gouge in it. Better note that...
The next set of boxes were labeled 'Grandfather Clock'. The first box was in perfect condition. An interesting sort of object, honestly, but Asuna couldn't figure out where she'd put something like that. It was shorter than she was, but awkward and sort of... ugly? Not enough blood and feathers. A shame.
The second box was intact, except for the clock face.
The tapestry boxes did not fair so well, however. The first box she had was missing one of the tapestries. The two that remained were rather nice - and very, very old she noted - though not quite her tastes. She was more of a fur person than tapestries.
Besides, didn't tapestries hang on walls?
The second box - and the last of all of them - was completely waterlogged. Whoever had boxed them put them in the box wet. Or the box was submerged in water for a very long time.
"... Unfortunate..." Asuna made a note of this, as well.

Once she was complete, she tallied up her form and presented it off to Adelaide before bowing and returning to the Dusk for the day.
