When he approached the Embassy of The Final Islands for a job, he hadn't expected to be shoved into the role of a Guard so quickly but here he was in a new, or rather borrowed old one, uniform. Of course it certainly helped that the Prime Minister Edict was the one who spotted him and recruited him into his current assignment. Said assignment included him having to go to one of the embassies and try to keep order since the human's were getting riled up thanks to all of the War horsemen that tended to show up from time to time on the islands.

When he went to join in the fighting, it wasn't just humans he found however, there were also Hunter's in the crowd. Asahi scanned the crowd with a calculating look in his eyes, trying to spot the Hunter's from the normal humans, and it was only when he spotted one that he quickly moved in to do his job. He spent the next hour or so doing his best to keep the Embassy as undamaged from the Hunter's as possible while driving them away and in the end it looked like he had done a good job of it. The Embassy had taken some damage but no where it could have been.

The next obstacle he ended up facing was when someone, whether it was a normal human or one of the blasted Hunter's, tossed a bomb over the wall. Asahi's first instinct was that he should toss it right back over in return and the only reason he paused at all was because he wasn't sure how far of a blast radius it would make in comparison to how far he could throw it. Instead, he sat down next to it and got to work trying to diffuse it which he would never admit to anyone that it was a bad idea over all. After all he had no experience in bomb diffusing and he could have ended up setting it off before the timer ran out. Thankfully he lucked out and somehow managed to disarm it.

Finally it was coming to the end of his shift, just a few more hours to go but he was already two thirds of the way through it. The time getting closer and closer didn't make him drop his guard however, it instead made him even more aware of his surroundings as his adrenaline shot through the roof. Just what would end up happening next? And something would happen next he was sure of it since there were enough hours for it. Sure enough he didn't have to wonder long as more Hunter's joined in the mob of human's and he had to go back out there and drive them off again.
This time though, this time he was quicker and more efficient as he had already dealt with this type of situation before. This time he was able to drive them off with even less damage done to the Embassy. Finally his shift was over though and he was thankful to clock out even if he could easily admit that the job had been a fun, if tiring, experience.
