Another horse? Was it the same horse? Flipping through the lab file she couldn't see that anyone had bothered to name the mare she had been working on. Well, that made sense. They all had numbers but what her previous specimen's number had been eluded the Famine sageling at the moment.

Clucking her tongue to herself she picked up the syringe labeled for 'Increased Strength' and stroked the palomino's cheek as she quietly jabbed the poor creature in the neck. "It really is a shame that they have to use horses this way. But you're the closest thing to us. To perfection." She crooned quietly, soothingly, while waiting for the timer to go off.

Comfortable curled up with her new friend whom she'd nicknamed Twoey (she was specimen 222E) Camixi actually dozed off for a time. Her dreams were interesting to say the least. First, she was in her painted pony form, frolicking along in a field that was full of horses with all kinds of interesting appendages. All of them were more special than her, despite her flashy looks, because she was nothing really important.

It was a really terrible dream. Bad enough of a dream that the brunette wondered if perhaps she hadn't had something injected into her or if she was perhaps the test subject. Waking up in a bit of a foul mood the assistant realized she had let the serum mature, so to speak, a little longer than she ought to have.

"s**t!" Cursing profusely she hopped up and led her specimen to the test for strength: a wall that should be kicked down. The mortar between the bricks wobbled but there was not much improvement. "Damn...well. At least there was some improvement..." She sighed and patted the flanks of Twoey. "Sorry girl. That one is my fault."

Name & Job:
Camixi, Lab Assistant

Please describe how today's events made you feel emotionally.
Twoey was good company. I like how docile she is.

Do you think the targeted genes are useful?
Indeed! Just uh...a bit particular...

Did you have any ethical problems with the work done today?
No but can you please label the specimens better? I think I worked on this one yesterday...
