Walking around the area and keeping mostly to herself, Tessa found that she was intrigued with the way others were talking amongst themselves, and found that she didn't have anyone readily available to talk to, herself.
She'd been a bit... distant from the Horsemen in recent years, and found that despite her own self-solace, she was lonely.
That much, in and of itself, was enough to make her come back from the outskirts of the Horsemen society and try to mingle, but as of yet... she'd had no such luck.
It was a good thing that she listened, however, because she tended to catch the very best of tidbits from conversations out in the open...

Tanita was standing, quietly, arms crossed in front of her, hands hidden deep in the opposite sleeves. She was watching the passersby, at the moment, distracting herself from the utter shitstorm of the situation at hand. She didn't understand how anyone else could take all of this calmly, truly. She was in a semi-constant state of nearly freaking out if she didn't distract herself. Some one had taken her memories from her. Those were HERS, and it was no more or less disturbing then if anyone had taken, say, one of her books or her necklaces. At the moment, this was a great place just to see people passing by. She was doing her very best, however, not to listen. She didn't want to hear them if they said anything that might get her back into that horrid mental spiral that she had come out here just to avoid.
She noticed, as she stood there, another observer. A Famine girl was nearby and that was interesting. Was she also distracting herself, or was this stranger doing something else? For a long moment, Tanita just watched her, then she nodded, and moved towards the other person. "Hello... I am Tanita. I don't think I've seen you before..?" She tilted her head, and gave a small smile, trying to seem calm, serene, but friendly as well. "There's a lot of people in the area today, honestly, that I haven't seen, but... most seem all caught up in themselves and their conversations."

"Tessa," She greeted back in kind, giving the other a slight bow of her head. "Sometimes I really don't mind... if you tend to listen enough, you can gather what's going on without anyone realizing it." She tapped the side of her head thoughtfully, the corners of her lips tugging as she fought to keep her face serene and slightly stoic.
It wouldn't do to show too much emotion, after all.
"It is good to see another Famine member. I haven't seen too many, as of yet..."

Efreet liked to wander. With the fuzziness of his memories, he liked going on walks, when it wasn't raining, and trying to reorient himself. The actions were taken in hopes that he would eventually jog a memory that was more than just familiar feelings of deja vu.
For the most part, it was futile but it didn't seem to get the man down.
Wings were folded against his back as he stretched his arms up above his head, grinning when he heard the satisfying pops of his elbows and back. Shaking his entire frame, he opened his eyes to see the two famine horseman not too far from him.
Deciding that it wouldn't hurt to say hello, he jogged over.
"Heeeeey ladies~"

Tanita smiled at the introduction of the other girl, and nodded, listening to her words, then looked confused at the comment about Famine. "Ah...eh? I am... of Conquest." She flushed, unsure what she had done to give anyone the impression that she was a member of Famine clan. She glanced at her back, for a moment, trying to see if she'd suddenly sprouted wings, then back to her new companion. "I... do I look Famine today, did I do something to confuse?" She paused, then realized perhaps she might be sounding rude, an inexcusable thing. "I do not mean to sound rude, or anything, I just am very unsure what I did to give the impression that I am of the Famine clan." She smiled a little, warmly. "I do not wish anyone to think I am trying to pretend to be what I am not, for I could easily offend both my own clan, and yours, if I did. After all..." Her tone became self deprecating. "I'd probably get it wrong and just look like I was mocking a stereotype."
The sound of another voice caused her head to turn, sharply, to the side just in time to see the approaching War horseman. Tanita found herself feeling, as she unfortunately often did, overly tall. However, she gave a polite smile to the stranger, and a slight bow of hello. She did not know this fellow either, but she suddenly chuckled. "Now all we need is a member of Death clan, and we have a complete set, don't you think, Tessa?"

Tessa's eyes widened in horror. "Oh! My apologies!" She reached up to move the hair out of her eyes, flushing a deep color of embarrassment.
"It's not really your fault, it's more of mine. Half the time I can't really see what I should through this thick hair..." She frowned, bowing. "My most sincere apologies. I meant no disrespect either. The error was mine."
Turning to the new 'member' of the 'group', Tessa grinned wide, letting her hair fall back into her face.
"... knowing me, I'd just end up calling them by the wrong clan. No disrespect meant, of course. Sometimes I wonder if I'm as blind as a bat, really." A sigh escaped her lips as she hunched, rubbing her face. How embarrassing! And really, no fault of anyone else.
"I am Tessa," She introduced herself, turning to the War Horseman with respect. "And yes. A Death would complete the set. Hee!" She giggled, pressing against her cheeks with the palms of her hands, sinking down to the ground.
Oh dear. She'd really messed up, hadn't she?
Hopefully no one would be too offended.

Tanita blinked at the horror the other girl was feeling, then a smile crossed her face and she laughed. "No, it's ok! I just wondered what I'd done, but it's alright. I'm not offended. I was confused, that's all." She considered the other girl's hair, her fingers sliding up to run through her own. She understood thick hair, it's why she kept it all tied up and back like this. She considered the other for a long moment, her head bobbing back and forth as she pondered if she should make any suggestions, before nodding a little. "Perhaps you could get some hairpins, or a clasp, and pull your hair back? Unless, of course, you like it hanging like that. It might make it harder for people to know for sure who you are, if that's what you're going for, if all they see usually is your hair..."
She paused, and turned towards the War Horseman again. "Tanita. It is a pleasure." She tilted her head, her eyes moving back and forth between the two faces, and she finally said "What brings you out here today?" She blinked as she realized Tessa had slid to the ground, and tilted her head, feeling like a blasted GIANT next to her now. "Are... you ok? I mean, are you injured or something?" It didn't occur to her at all that Tessa would be THAT embarrassed over the mishap, as she wasn't offended. "I... can probably carry you into the medical staff if you need help...?"

Efreet stood back grinning as the two women, conquest and famine he now properly observed, seemed to talk back and forth. Hands were shoved in the pockets of his pants as his multicolored irises flicked from Conquest to Famine.
It wasn't until they looked his way and offered him their names that he chirped up again. "Efreet!" His right hand slipped free of his pocket and he offered it to Tantia first, then Tessa second.
"Shame it's not a T name, huh? Then we'd be a group of Ts." He laughed, clearly thinking it was a clever thing to say when really...
His wings settled against his back and he cocked his head as he thought about if he knew any Death bros he could beckon to join them. His mind came up blank, oh well.
Hopping up, Tessa stretched, hands out to assure Tanita that she was okay.
"No, really, I'm fine! Just... a little embarrassed, actually." She admitted, rubbing the back of her head. "... I should take your advice on barrettes. That... wouldn't be a bad idea, actually..." Turning to Efreet, she LAUGHED, covering her mouth before shaking his head.
"Well, your name ENDS with a t, does that count?"

Tanita shook Efreet's hand, with a friendly smile, then gave a second, small, smile at the slightly strange joke the War horseman had tossed out, but couldn't quite bring herself to laugh. She just didn't really see the humor in the statement, it just was what it was, yes? She internally shrugged, and tilted her head. "It is, indeed, a lovely day for a stroll."
She grinned at Tessa, and turned her head to look at her again. "I know some good artisans, we could get you something really pretty, maybe something to match your skin or hair tone?" She tilted her head back and forth, pondering the other girl, curiously. "I bet copper or silver would look good on you! What do you think, Efreet?" She had no idea if he had any actual opinions on the subject, or useful knowledge on color matching, but she did know she had no desire to be rude to him. No reason to make him feel excluded after all!
Tessa's laughter surprised him, Efreet stepping back as he blinked before delight blossomed across his features. Hey! He made a lady laugh, that was like thirty points for him!
"Dunno! If ya want it to then, ya." It was as simple as that really and he appreciated how she accepted his sub-par joke. Though, it seemed like Tanita didn't appreciate his attempts as much and he shrugged, lacing black fingers together and resting them behind his head.
"Why don't we take a walk then, huh ladies?" If they were at least walking and talking, he might be able to pick up his game a little.
When asked his opnion, at first he shrugged, because he hardly had one but upon squinting at Tess and her looks he made a decision. "Silver's a good color," he offered. "Goes with everything."

Tessa blushed brightly, ducking her head as she let her hair fall back into her face.
"... sure. I'm... not an expert on this, so... your help would be nice. And appreciated." She smiled, biting her lower lip before staring at the ground, moving to follow whoever was going to lead the way.
She chanced a glance at Efreet again, smirking.
It was apparent that she definitely liked to flirt.

Tanita's brows rose a little, and she looked back and forth for a moment, wondering if she was about to be a third wheel by accident. She pondered this for a long minute, then gave an internal shrug. What would be, would be. In the meantime, she had her new companions to talk to, and help her distract herself from all the awfulness going on in the Dusk right now. Or at least in her head. She pondered where a walk might lead, and Efreet's comment about silver being a good choice. "Why not head to the shops, perhaps? We can wander through that area, I can introduce you to some one who might make some lovely barrettes for you, Tessa..."
She nodded, and took a step in that direction, glancing at the other two to see if they'd follow. She was perfectly prepared to leave them alone, if they preferred, to continue their flirting with each other. She was not any good at flirting, or picking it up when others did it towards her, but she could see when other people were doing it with each other. The last thing she would want to do is ruin the chance of a budding relationship by being there while they took the time to get to know one another.
But perhaps her presence would help, too. She didn't know enough about this sort of thing to be sure. She controlled the urge to give a melancholy sigh, as in the back of her head she figured she was forever going to be single, unless some one was prepared to do the equivalent of bashing her over the head with their interest, since she'd never pick it up otherwise.

Flirting was a concept that, in theory, Efreet thought himself to be a champion. When it came down to it, however, he missed a lot of the return flirting cues and was overall, just a friendly sort of dude who didn't know how to differentiate between flirting and trying to make a friend.
Either way though, he appreciated the attention since he felt like he was blundering his way through things.
The smirk would have made him flush a little if his skin hadn't been on the darker side as it was. Choosing to step between his new lady friends, he offered them both arms. "I think," he started slowly, taking a purposeful step forward, "Tanita has an excellent idea. Let's go shopping, find some cooool new digs and something that highlights both of your awesome features~"
