Cor had decided to explore a bit and get his bearings. He was still feeling somewhat groggy after the whole incident. What incident, he obviously did not know, not for sure. No one did. But he did have curiosities. Ones that might have answers that were remembered.
He arrived at the famine labs and knew exactly who to bother.
"Vinnnnnnnnn~" he called out loudly amid the crowded space.

With a twitch of a pair of antenna, Vin popped out from the crowd with a box under one arm and a blank expression. He had beem bouncing from the labs and other areas to see if he could dig up any information that might help figure out the mystery of the missing day.
As he saw Cor, he went over to stand before him, and this close showed there was a large roach upon his head. "You called us?"

"Yes, I did," Cor confirmed and extended a finger to the bug resting upon Melvin's crown in an attempt to greet it.
"I am wondering if you have learned anything at all yet about the crystal?"

Vin reached up for the roach that curled in as he pulled it free and held it out for Cor to hold. "We have beem asking but many have noticed no changes to their body and only a memory laspe? We have tried but am not happy to see very little evidence of what caused it. Do you know anything?"

Cor took the bug gratefully and held it up to his chest as though it were an extremely small child but proceeded to stroke it more as if it were a beloved pet.
"I don't know anything beyond my gut feeling - and it is not happy about any of this." He frowned at Vin, not much use himself. "You were not injured in any way, then, that you recall?"

He held the slim box up to hide his mouth. "We were not harmed, but you can inspect us if you like. We were just about to shed these clothes off to modernize."
He watched Cor. "Have you been inspected too?"

"I am not sure I have been inspected yet to be honest," he took the handle of the box for Vin. "Is there a private room we could use nearby?"

"Yes, right this way." With a gesture of his hand, he moved past Cor and to the side down a hallway into one of the rooms to the medical bay. There, he ushered Corr inside before shutting and locking the door.
Pleased, he turned about and moved closer. "Another set of eyes is good." And with that, he turned and started to peel off the layers of dark rags he wore, pulling them off as more and more dust and various bits of molting dropped to the ground. Dropping them to the floor, Vin was nothing more than a dried husk, mostly exposed bone and dried flesh, darkened tattoos lining about his neck. His back was that of a centipede. A long ling of segmented exoskeleton of dark red that caught light with small, black legs that curled about his side, holding him. The tail curled in at the end, not long at all. "Check us if you will?"

Cor nodded and sat the box and roach down on a nearby table with care. He opened the box and inspected the contents before moving over to assist Vin. "It looks like you had another moult recently," Cor assumed as he brushed off small bits of detached chitin that still clung to Vin's form. He touched along his newer shell while both visually and physically inspecting him. He was a bit less appreciative of the bony bits poking out, but still inspected those too for anything that may have gotten lodged where it shouldn't. All in all though, Vin looked relatively healthy and unharmed. For a famine.
Cor nodded with approval. "You appear to be unharmed," he assured him while gathering up Vin's rags and piling them by the box.

He nodded as he watched Cor pick of a sttay bit of shell from his back he must have missed. "Been a while since we grew. Time passes again." He watched Cor move about him before the results came in. Sighing, which caused a moth to fly out of his mouth, the Famine horsemen crossed his arms. "We suplise that our bodies were not tampered with amything such as a syringe or trauma. Gas or wave maybe?"
He moved fo Cor. "Shall we inspect you to be sure now?"
