Rygha had recently come of age to fight, Alassiel wanted to test out his prowess on the way home from visiting her family. What better way than to test their strength against one of the strongest beasts Alassiel could find in Sauti? The Suhurama were rare creatures, but that did not mean they did not exist! Alassiel spent some time trying to find some and was happy when she finally found one to fight. They looked like incredible birds from what she could tell from afar. Giving Rygha a good pat from her perch atop his back, they stalked forward towards it.
The suhurama had no chance. The duo was upon the bird in an instant; Rygha clawed and bite down at one of its wings to stop it from flying. Without flight it could not do much but that didn’t mean it wasn’t dangerous. Rygha circled it staying out of reach of the sharp beak while Alassiel kept her trident focused on the bird just in case it came for her. When the snaptrotter had finished sizing up the suhurama, he pounced. The bird gave a final squawk as Ryga bite down for the death blow and shook his head viciously.
Alassiel dismounted in the meantime, planting her trident in the ground as she approached the bird from the ground. It was dead alright. Satisfied, the shifter plucked a few feathers to keep as souvenirs. Ziel would probably want some too. Alassiel mounted up again and rode off to find some more Suhurama.
