"So... you guys can both have your original rooms back." Kam said, shifting from one foot to the other as she looked at the two feiens in front of her. "But we do have new people in the house and some of the old inhabitants have moved out."

Sunil scowled, unwilling to meet Kam's eyes. "Such a warm welcome," she snapped, "Can't say I'm surprised." She waved dismissively at her bond, clearly wishing to be left alone to explore the house.

Ruya gave Sunil a sidelong glance, feeling oddly sympathetic to her grumpy companion. I believe what Sunil meant to say," she cut Sunil's response off with a look, "is that we are very tired from travelling, but happy to finally be home. We would like very much to return to our rooms and resituate ourselves."

"Oh." Kam looked at a loss for a moment, but then stood to the side with a sheepish look. "Of course. Go ahead."

Neither fairy wasted any time in zooming past Kam and up the stairs to the second floor and beyond.
