After doing such a great job with the first position at the antiquities business it wasn't a surprise that when he was able to come back Asahi did so. Of course this time he wasn't an 'Assistant Sales Clerk' but a 'Restoration Apprentice' as he had apparently done an impressive enough job to move up in the world. Said position now had him having to clean or fix some goods that were in a box in the basement. The Conquest Noble followed the CEO down into the basement, hoping he wasn't about to shame his clan by not being able to do the job.
It would after all be quite sad if he couldn't manage to clean up some antiques when the Conquest clan was known for their Artisans even if he was a Noble himself. Those types of thoughts made him wonder what it would be like to sit down and create all day. While it would mean he couldn't explore to his hearts content for the glory of the clans, it did mean that he could create what ever he wanted. Anything one of his clansmen made could easily end up in a place like this in the future after all as who wouldn't want the ornate weapons or fabrics they made?
One thing was for sure at least, he would have to see if he couldn't get his hands on some tools and see if he even had the gift of creating sometime in the future. At least it was a thought in case he ever got bored of scouting which wasn't likely any time soon.

Asahi followed Adelaide easily, not speaking up as she lead him through the basement to a table in a corner. When he was told to take care of what was in the box he just nodded and studied the box. It wasn't particularly small but neither was it particularly big so it didn't give away any clues as to what could be hidden inside. After a moment of looking he then moved to move on of the box flaps that was hiding what was inside before Adelaide could get impatient with him. To his surprise when he moved the flap he could see five little kittens curled up inside.
While he did listen to her when she gave him the instructions, as well as acknowledged when she passed him the food and dishes, the majority of his attention was on the little balls of fluff. When she left he set up the food dishes for them and offered the kittens his hand first so they could smell him. After it was clear they weren't going to panic he gave them a few gentle pets then gave them the plates of food. "Eat up tiny ones, you are going to need it to grow up big and strong."
He spent the rest of his shift happily playing with and keeping an eye on the five tiny kittens, fully deciding that this was his all time favorite job so far. It was by far better then what he originally thought he would be doing.
