It took a run through obstacle course (or two) for Liya to get over her initial anxiety from the Clan-wide memory loss. It wasn't as if she was fully over it but she was certainly feeling less antsy about the matter and did not have as strong a desire to shred someone with her teeth for the lack of straight answers.
She'd seen the posting in the Offices, mentions of Jobs and fiddling with her phone brought up an option about Modernization. She made a face when it became apparent the clothing was mandatory in the human world. Her wings are not going to be happy about that. Although she had to admit some of the patterns and designs were pretty. They'd look better as fabric scraps fluttering from pelts but that was Modernization for you.
And because Liya felt ready for what the jobs had in store for her, she felt confident enough to go and see how the others were doing. Which was what had her going in search for her brother.

Kai had been looking at his phone as well, but hadn't done much else aside from that. While his sister had been training, he had been basking in the warmth of the artificial light from the trees and smoking his pipe, staring out lazily through the trees and wondering how far he could jump to the next branch without flapping his wings.
As he stood upon one branch, he slowly walked down it's length before he stopped and spotted his sister, turning direction and moving over to her, little plumes of smoke following above him.
Liya looked up to find her brother and waved at him with a wing. His question made her chuckle and dramatically place her hands on her hips, "Never! Training is forever!"
She did, however, try to climb on up the tree so she could be beside him, their height difference wouldn't normally be a problem during conversation but even she found the distance between them a little too much for holding a conversation. Grunting as she climbed, "But right now, I put it on hold to see what my brother's been up to."

Turning, Kai bent as an offer to let himself be a perch for his sister.
"I was reading on the phone. Nothing much. Jobs out. Gotta get dressed for it though." He grumbled, never liking to wear so much clothing. It also was hard to get on, and he was often yelled for ripping them.
"Hate those clothes. Makin me feel like a Death horsemen with all them layers."
The offer of a perch was happily accepted as Liya made herself comfortable. "Yeah, I saw the clothes," she made a face, sharing her brother's sentiment. "You'd think they would make some that, I dunno, remembered we have wings," she said in indignation.
"Maybe we're allowed to modify them. Oh! Maybe there are some humans who like the kind of clothing we and we can use that justification!" the idea of it sounded promising to Liya. And she was certainly more than willing to test that out when the opportunity arises.
