Always viewed Budokai as better fighting games, but Tenkaichi as better Dragon Ball games. Being able to do strong strikes to send someone through buildings or rock formations and the absurdly long combo strings was more fun for me than the 2.5D experience from the Budokai games. That said, Budokai 3's intro music is top tier.

I always loved Budokai, because honestly it was my first, but the Dragon ball games evolved quite a bit o: from things like Tenkeichi [Which I personally prefer Raging Blast over it], and Xenoverse. Though the one's that don't hit the US are alot more prominent to me ;w; So I'd have to say Dragon Ball Heroes
