Unaffiliated Joseph had just wanted a simple drink. The young, not so young, Mutant was at the Pub doing waS doing what any other would do. He drank but what wasn't helping him was this one fact, he was from a different country. And for a foreigner in the Midwest, Bigots would be common. A man kept shouting at Joseph to get out of the country, that it wasn't his to be in. "I'M FROM SCOTTLAND YOU TWIT!" He needed to be calm, needed to breath. As he was breathing though he was dragged outside, some rednecks missing teeth trying to kick him. "Leave me alone.... LEAVE ME ALONE!!!” With the last word a pulse of energy exploded from the mutant. Killing everyone and destroying the buildings in a few square blocks. Breathing heavy he looked around upon standing. "....s**t..."

Gwen has caught wind of a mutant in need. How she got the info was less that glamorous or clean. She tossed the bloody work gloves in a dumpster. At least that Friend of Humanity lasted long enough to give the location of the mutant they had beed tracking. She had a black dress on. It was good looking and unassuming and would hide the blood. Her goal was in a hotel room in Merrillville IN. Poor soul had took out most of Gary, not that is was much of a town.
She approched the hotel the late Friend of Humanity had mentioned to her. They needed to grow their numbers to fight back and help mutant kind. He approched the propper door. It was a many level hotel with outside doors. She approched his door and knocked gently. It wasnt the knock of a lagy but still a firm knock. She didn't want him to blow here.

Unaffiliated Joseph had left to next city. Hiding out in a Motel Six as he had destroyed pretty much all of Gary. He had finished a shower, cleaning his jeans and shirt the sink, and was about to shave as a knock came to his door. He moved to be behind the door. "I paid for this room." His accent really standing out. He took a deep breath to try to calm down a little. Looking through the peephole to see a woman standing there. "I didn't order anything ma'am. Got the wrong room Cutie."

Gwen smirked when she heard the Scottish accented voice from behind the door and chuckled a bit when she was called cutie. "Oh I'm not here to sell you anything Joseph. I here to offer some safety. Especially from those looking for you." She said knowing that get his attention. Her voice was gemtle and was the tone you would expect from a mom coaxing a child. It wasn't codensending but more gentle. The dress also served an extra purpose it showed she was unarmed, at least with a weapon. Her power made her deadly enough.

Unaffiliated Joseph paused when she said his name. No one was to know who he was or even where he was. Unlocking the door opening it up. "Come in I guess." He walked back to the Bathroom and began to shave. The stubble he had was out there to say the least. "You can't help me, no where is safe." Turning around to look at Gwen, looking her over a bit. "You know who I am, so you must know what I did."

Gwen entered the room and closed the door. He wnt to shave but she choose to stand on the front of the room "Well thats an end goal of mine. But there is safety in ding with comrades." She said to his reply of there was is no safety. Hr tjen propted about what he had done in Gary. "You defended yourself. You were attacked by people that cant see past themselves." She replied. "What I offer is being with other misunderstood souls. We aim for not being forced to hide cause we are different. "

Unaffiliated Joseph thought about what she was say. He didn't have to hide, but the situation made hiding the best choice. "Really? I just destroyed a town by accident. I wasn't meaning to." He plopped himself down on the bed. Moving his hand the tv turned on. "And like a day later I've got a beautiful blonde at my door telling me I could be safe? I can pull a jet out of the sky if I can visualize it." He sat up and scooted back. "Plus Hot Stuff, you haven't introduced yourself or how you found me really."

Gwen decided to keep a small smile going, it seemed to help the poor man to relax. "My apologies, I forget my manners sometimes. My name is Gwen, I'm the leader for the Brotherhood stationed in New York. I found you by....intarrogating your persuers. All our members had to hide themseves in fear. So together were trying to make it where we are not forced to hid in fear and be able to learn and master our powers as opposed to just hiding them." She explained. "Your strong and shouldn't have to run and hide from the ignorant. If your willing to join with me you can get a family who actually cares for you." She did hope he would take her offer. He be a great addition to the family.

Unaffiliated Joseph nodded as he got Gwen's name. But the idea of being in a family made him pause. He grew up on the streets, no parents just a gang of idiots. Liking his lips a little he nodded a little. "A family would be nice..." He moved to the edge the bed, feet on the floor. "Grundstok, Joseph Grundstok. Telekinetic and force fields." Waving his hand he made her float a bit and sat her back down. "Gary was an accident. What I can do is emotionally driven. To panicked powers gone, too angry and I'm a bomb." He stood up and gave her a kind smile. "I guess count me in Gwen. I will need to get more clothes as this is it."

Gwen was a bit suprised to be floating but it wasn't a first time shes floated. "We can help you keep learn to work it better, but yes we can get you some new clothes. As Joseph got ready Gwen peered out. "Looks like we have a going away party. Feel like joining me in finishing off your presuers?" Gwen said seeing the Friends of Humanity logo. A logo she had come to loathe ten years ago when they murdered her five year old son Jordan. He be fifteen if they hadden't taken him from this world. When Joseph indicated he was ready for a fight she swung the door open. She jumped up and over the railing of the third story. When she landed she was quite differant than before. See her shapshifting wasn't limited by if the animal or person exists. If she could have a clear picture she could be it. Hence why there was now a Tyrannosaurus Rex in the parking lot of the hotel. She chomped on a van nearly crushing it. Raised it high and shook the passengers out who fell to their deaths. She then tossed the truck into another causing it to explode.

Unaffiliated Joseph just walked outside. Breathing slowly and keeping his focus. Extending out his hand he grabbed hold of the vehicles, crushing them and smashing the vehicles into some of the men. Descending the stars of his room he would push the first man down, sending him into his fellows how screamed in pain. He could hear gun fire but it didn't matter, he was focused. His breathing still calm the bullets would fly and go into the ground. "STAY AWAY!" Raising his hand, choking noises coming out of a large collection of them. Joseph was imagining the windpipes of the men slowly being crushed, and in the corner of his eyes he could see men reaching for his throats. "Gwen get behind me."

Gwen was rolling a truck into the rest of her side when he asked her to get behind him. Even at her current size, She was able to be behind him. she didn't want to drop back to normal size and form till they were done with the fighting. she wanted to let Joseph use his power and get a first-hand look of it. She already knew he was what they needed. She was ready to help in case she was needed. After what was going to be an amazing display she returned to her normal form albeit different clothes. The dress had been made using her power, she wore the suit out most of the time and just made them look like clothes.

Unaffiliated Joseph kept walking out, clenching his fist and hearing the necks snap. Breathing slowly he dragged a running man back with his abilities. Pushing the man into the ground a bit. "You saw what happened.... and that was me calm. Gary was me angry. You will leave me alone, my friends alone, and family alone." Turning around and shattering the bones in the man's arms and legs. The man screaming in pain as Joseph made his way to Gwen, "T-Rex, awesome by the way." He turned around and raised his hand, a vehicle had exploded, but the shrapnel stopped. "But how? T-Rex are dead. But still very cool."

Gwen was indeed impressed, and glad he mention family. He was impressed by her as a Tyrannosaurus Rex. "Well they did but my imagination hasn't. though the downside it the after taste of truck" She said sticking her tongue out in disgust for a sec "But it one of my favorites, nothing more inspiring than fighting with a t-rex or as demoralizing as a t-rex coming after you. but let's get you some new. I parked down the road." After she spoke she changed so she was back to the dress. She wasn't going to drive in her special suit.
