━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Rose walked into her house after they got chinese food and headed back. She unlocked the door and smiled as she let him in. "Here we are. Casa de la Rose." she explained as she looked around. It was clean and she liked it that way. Being only her in the little house, it was easy to keep the place clean. She set her bag and keys down with a sigh. "Would you like a drink?" she asked as she sat down and looked at him. She curled up on her couch as she got her chopsticks and opened her box of chicken fried rice. Two cans of soda came into the room and she caught one while the other sat beside him. "You are the first person I have ever brought here. SO I hope I can be a good host." she explained as she sighed softly. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Arriving at an older quaint house he was impressed. He had a third floor appartment next to an older mexican lady. She swore he was trying to summon evil with his music. How can someone hate on Metalica!? Sure it was like a half century old band but come on! That makes it classical! He entered the house and liked the style she had. "Nice place. Better than mine, third floor apparment, shitty elevator." He said looking around. He sat down and extracted the lovely Szechuan Chicken. She offered a drink and was about to go get them but she was one step ahead of him. The soda floated over and sat next to his food. "Now see if I tried that it be soda explosion. That why what got is cooler." He said cracking the soda open and taking a sip.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Rose smiled as she looked at him. She began to eat and sighed softly. "So, whats your story?" she asked after she took a bite. She opened her soda and took a drink before smiling. "Oh, and I got this place kind of cheap. They sold it to me because it was so run down. My dad actually helped me fix it up." she explained as she looked down a bit. "That was brief though. He left again after that." she continued before taking another bite of food and looking at him again. She looked around her home, mentally making sure she didn't need to check on everything. She took a breath and looked at him again. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Well it was fairly normal, other than the whole zappy thing of course. Pretty normal punk parenting. Parents use to be in the music biz till I showed up. Normal schooling and all." Felix said before taking a big bite then a drink. "I was about fifteen when I had the brilliant idea to bike home in a thunderstorm. Of course riding a metel contraptions and being wet made me a lightning rod. Though going by my age and the fact I didnt die I consider that being when my powers showed up. Mainly kept it on the down low till recently. First person im not related too to know I got zappy powers is you." He said using the fork to point at her when he said you. He kinda wanted to know her backstory, hopefully she had a nicer childhood too. But he knew he was lucky, most mutants dont.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Rose listened to him as he spoke and she ate quietly. His childhood seemed so simple and quiet. She wondered if all mutant's lives ha been like that. She thought more into it. Of course they weren't. If they were, there would not be situations such as her. When he finished talking, she found herself at the pointy end of his fork and smiled a bit. "Is that so?" she asked as she looked at him. "Well, my upbringing was normal. My parents were approached by someone for Xavier's school for the gifted but they refused to send me. They refused to see their daughter as a freak when their life was so perfectly normal" she explained, "After that, my powers got out of control and they all but kicked me out when I was eleven. From then on, I was homeless. I did odd jobs around town to earn money to live on. I had a room at a local motel that I paid for by going to school. I managed to graduate with pretty good grades. I want to go to college but I could never afford it on my own. And Starbucks isn't paying me a whole lot. Plus, rent and my bills here take most of my check." she explained, "So ya, that's my life in a nutshell, And i don't really see my family. They're normal. I'm not. So I don't belong." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
He listened to Rose's tale of her life. Poor girl, she drew the short straw on growing up. He really hoped people would suck it up and deal with the fact people like him and Rose were just as normal. "Fitting in it not as cracked up to be. I mean just look at me I never learned fitting in. Though I consider myself damn lucky, my parents while suprised and confused. They are pretty cool about it." He said mixing rice with the sauce. "So other that exploding and levitating drinks, though that does sound cool, what can you all do?"

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Looking at him as he spoke some more. Then she sighed and looked down. "I don't really know. I am able to do small things. But I don't really know what all I can do" she explained as she finished her food. She took a drink and looked at him. "What about you? What else can you do?" she asked as she smiled a bit. She didn't like to think of herself much and enjoyed listening to him talk about himself. He was nice and not like other guys. If she got too happy, something weird would happen and they would run. But she literally blew up drinks in front of this guy. Though it did help that he was like her. "Your parents sound awesome by the way" she told him as she smiled at him, "I wish my parents were like that" ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Felix had to think for a moment. "Well the obvious, zap things. I know I seem to make my own power but i can also drain power. I always do that the one bitchy managers walkie and scaner batteries." He chuckled a bit at that one. Nobody liked that witch. "I can mess with electronics. I did that to the manager on duty to keep him distracted for ya this morning. Though thats all I can think of....." He finished fairly certain that all he knew he could do. Prehaps he had more potential he wasn't sure. Rose seemed envious of his parents. "Hell if you wanna meet them they practically adopt any and all my friends." He said starting the scrape the food off the sides of the to go container.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Rose smiled lightly as she looked at him. "That would be nice." she told him before thinking about something. "You told me your apartment kind of sucks right?" she asked, remembering him saying something about his neighbors not exactly being the best. She thought about it as she waited for an answer, she smiled as she did and leaned back. It was a nice thought and she wondered if he would be into it. They were both mutants, and two paying for a place would be better then one. They could afford the bills as well as more food in the house. She had an extra bedroom in the house he could have and they worked at the same place so she could always know when he'd get paid. "What if you moved in here?" she asked him after a short time. "We could split the bills and work on groceries. I have a second bedroom too. And we could use our powers without worrying about judgement because we both have them. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Yea angry mexican lady included and I know for sure the guy two doors down is smoking something illegal. But hey rents not bad." Felix said initially thinking she wanted a visit. It was a nice place and all but it wasn't a place for visitors. He was suprised by the offer of roommating. He thought about it. "Well my lease is coming up.... If you dont mind classic metal music, I wouldn't see why not. It'll be a month before I can start in with bills but yea, sure what the hell, why not." It would help them both out. Besides the idea of using his powers around the house or even just flexing them more would be great, and Rose could too. He wanted to see her comfortable with her power too.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Rose smiled as she listened to him. She had never dealt with an angry Mexican lady but she had dealt with irritating neighbors at the Motel. There were almost always police there for illegal activity. She normally had to stay hidden at that point because she was an illegal runaway. Standing, she looked at him. "Well, would you like to see your room? You can start slowly moving stuff into it if you would like." she told him as she stepped backwards, leading him back towards the bedrooms. Hers was just how she liked it. But the one she had done up as the guest room was a bit more fancy. She led him to see it and opened the door. "It's a bit dusty as I have not had guests before but you can do what you want in here within reason" she explained as she looked at him and smiled. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Ooo not bad!" He said peering to the room. "Yea my posters would all fit in there. Me and my dad can haul the big stuff. Unless you wanna try float it out. That be neat." He said. He wouldn't make her of course. "Hey the nights still young. And I recall the scedule we both have off tomorrow off so let hit the arcade near here I heard they updated the VR games. Still have a gift card for there we should go!" He knew she have fun there he would opt out of the too violent ones. She didn't seem the type to like VR Zombies but hey you never know. He did hope she was down for some video games. She had bought the food so he could at least biy the games.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Leaning against the door frame, Rose watched him and smiled. She listened and laughed. "I haven't really played any video games before," she explained as she rubbed her arm. "I was too busy. Won't I look pretty silly?" she asked as she stood straight and looked at him. She was a bit nervous about it but she wasn't protesting much. She wouldn't mind it. It sounded fun to go and do something like this. She took a breath and smiled. "and while I may not work tomorrow, I do need sleep so we can not stay out too late." she explained as she grabbed her jacket and slid it on after changing into something not work related. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Oh, dont worry the games are designed for any skill level" Felix said making sure he had everthing of his with him. They left Rose's house and took the short trek to the arcade. It had bright flashy sign and colorfully lit games. They entered and got the tokens they would need to play the games. "They got all sorts of games. Even one where it more like a ride and you just have to pick a track for it to run on. No skill required." Felix said over the dull roar of the place. It wasn't crowded just the sounds of games and occasional cheers from players. He was hoping to do some vr shooting but it be impolite to ditch Rose if she didn't want to play it.
