Lucia snuck out of her house after her mother had come in to kiss her goodnight, her father was away on a business trip. She hid some pillows under her blankets in case her mom decided to check on her during the night. She slipped on her jacket whose pocket hid her henshin pen. She felt a bit bad about not taking Giulia with her but she needed to explore her world for a bit without slowing down for an unpowered person, she'd make it up to her friend next time they played together. She slipped through her open window into her backyard her large swimming pool was still covered by a tarp; she hoped her daddy would open up the pool soon she wanted to play with Giulia in it. She made her way around her house silently reaching the large gate and brick wall that surrounded. She clambered over the wall using the vines that grew along it to help her climb. Once she was over the wall she started walking, she kept a tight grip on her pen, she wasn't stupid she knew it was dangerous to be out on her own even without the magical dangers of the city but if she encountered anyone bad she would just become Ara and beat them up.

She made her way down the city streets past the grownups who were still out partying, she wondered how they could still go out and party like that with so many magical threats during the night surely they had to know about the youma and negaverse even if they didn't know them by name. Like the power plant that was destroyed, wouldn't a giant monster breaking buildings make people stay home at night. Ultimately she shrugged her shoulders and decided that grownups were just weird. She made her way into a dark street alley.

She reached into her pocket and pulled out her hensin pen, its golden body glittering in the dim moon light. "Ara power, make up!" She called out her transformation phrase as she spun around like a ballerina. Her finger nails and toe nails painted themselves, as ribbon of rainbow light enveloped her body and formed her uniform. The whole alleyway was filled with bright light for a second, soon enough it dissipated and Ara was left standing where Lucia had been a moment earlier. She took one last moment to breathe in the city air of destiny city, the cool night air filling her lungs.

Ara summoned her phone to her hand from wherever it went when she wasn't using it, the moon pearl keychain jingled against the magical smart phone. She should try visiting the moon at some point, she had no idea what to expect but she knew it was an important place. Putting that thought aside for now she decided get going to her home world, the crown jewel of the constellation Ara. Pressing an app on her phone Ara was quickly transported to her home world, disappearing from the Earth in the blink of an eye.

As Ara opened her eyes she was greeted by the bright sight of Ara before her. The air here was warm and clean, like spring time in the countryside. It felt wonderful but it was also dreadfully quiet, even more so without Giulia here to keep her company. Ara wondered what could have happened to all the people, she clearly saw it was once inhabited by a lot of people in her memories from Lux, what made them all disappear. It was a bit scary to think about, but she also wondered if the planet would ever be filled with people again. She thought about it and decided she would very much like that; hopefully one day she could make that happen. She had appeared in the middle of the city this time so she made her way up the towering hill to the glittering palace.

Upon entering the large alabaster gatehouse she was hit with the sweet scent of the incense, which she still wasn't sure where it was coming from let alone how it was still burning. Still it kept the palace smelling nice and she appreciated that. She made her way through the gatehouse to the courtyard. The football field sized courtyard was just as Ara remembered it. Rainbow colored cherry Blossom trees that lined the large pool of water fluttered about as the spring breeze wafted through. She walked onto the rainbow bridge; she wondered how she was able to step on light like this, were rainbows on Earth solid if you could reach them? She wondered if with her enhanced speed she'd be able to reach a rainbow now, it would be something to try at some point. She leaned on a railing made of light and looked down at the water. The bottom was a mirror surface so it reflected her image back at her along the water. As she stared into her face she felt the world around her shift.

Her image change, the face was similar but slightly older, maybe 14, and with blond hair and pointed ears now. She was lux, or rather this was one of Lux's memories, and it seemed to be a younger Lux than she had experience before. "Lux come on, this not the time not the time to be day dreaming." Said a deep voice causing Lux to look up at the man who had called out to her. The tall elvish man wore a very elaborate and elegant toga and had long blond hair slicked back with an ornate crown placed on his head. The man was her father but more importantly he was also the imperator of the Araen Empire. She had been named the senshi of Ara and sent away for training when she was very young. This was her first time back though her parents had visited and she had been told much of her home world. She was now prepared to step and assume her role as protector of the empire and general of its armies, a role traditionally given to the senshi. She followed her father into the throne room. "Lux…no Ara we are proud to welcome you back to Ara. You are almost ready to assume your rightful place as our senshi but there is one more trial you must pass." He gestured to the throne where there were three spherical holes in the back of the chair. "Ara's greatest treasures are our three lights, orbs of pure light that were taken from moon light, sun light, and star light. It is tradition that every new Ara must make a pilgrimage to the three shrines that house these treasures and return them to the imperator." Lux wore a determined look on her face, she knew she was prepared for any trial. "I am ready my Imperator, I swear I shall return with the lights." She said kneeling before the man. "Then I wish you look on your quest." Before they could say any more Ara's memory ended and she was left looking at her reflection.

"The three lights huh, they were still missing last time I saw the throne, did someone hide them again? Maybe I should try to find them." She said to herself. Then she looked at the palace, she had come here to explore, to map out the palace. "I'd better get going." She said to herself as she walked toward the towering building.
