Savannah still couldn't quite believe what had happened. When she and Tove had decided that they wanted to have foals, Savannah had been a little skeptical that asking the spirits for help would actually work. But she prayed in their prayer circle like Tove had told her they must and she did the silly chanting-and then Kinak arrived in the middle and Ace chased him away-and that was the end of it. They didn't see or hear anything from the spirits, until a few months later...

Savannah had nearly tripped over them on her morning run. They were perfect. The most perfect baskets that had ever been seen and she knew, instinctively, that they were hers and Tove's. There were four in total and Savannah lay down then and there while Ace ran like a madmare to go find Tove. When her lovemate returned, the winter spirit glowed like the summer sun.

They eventually moved the baskets to a safer area. They resided currently on the border between the Western Forest and the Plains. While Savannah and Tove both disliked trees immensely, Ace had insisted they bring them at least to the border in case any unwanted predators dare come near. That notion had frightened both of the new mothers into agreement with the goat and so off they went and here they stayed.

Now the mares took turns in deciding who was staying up with the baskets. Occasionally Kinak and Nash would come along and volunteer to stay up and let both mares rest. It was around this time that Savannah decided that having more Soquili around, even if one was a skinwalker, was a good idea, so long as they behaved themselves.

It was on an afternoon that Savannah was keeping watch over the baskets that she first noticed the quiet sigh that came from one of the baskets. Raising her head immediately, she perked her ears and peered more closely at the baskets. It had been the cream-hued basket, she decided that had sighed. Once she was paying close enough attention, she even watched as the basket shifted from one side to another and then there was a snuffling towards the rim, before a tiny muzzle peeked out of the basket, before snorting delicately and ducking back into the basket. Savannah blinked and then blinked again, but no, it couldn't be a dream, for the basket lid was still ajar!

Getting up very slowly, she walked on quiet hooves to stand beside her lovemate. Nuzzling her cheek gently, she whispered.
"Tove, my love, I think it's happening. Look..." And she returned her gaze to the baskets, her gaze flickering to the other three for any signs of movement. When would the others start moving?

The filly that lay curled up in that basket had tried
the outside world, but when she felt its chilled air outside, which vastly contradicted the warmth of the basket, she didn't feel inclined to move again.
She shifted a little, the basket wobbling, before it fell still again. Let someone else be brash and loud, she thought. She would come out, if she chose to, when she was ready.

Ace was asleep. She had been working just as has as the two mares and stallions present, even more so in her own opinion. She and Volney had to look out for the mares and their baskets. So, when Savannah said the goat could take a nap, she was out like a light and slept like a rock. Would she wake up in time? Would she sleep through the magic? Only time would tell.

Tove was slow to wake at her mate's nosing. She yawned with a shake of her antlers to dispell the first deep sleep she had gotten in days. The mare seemed a bit ragged, her hair a mess and her delicate wings slightly crumpled from sleeping weird. Her heart soon kickstarted her beating wildly at the news. A basket moved?! She quickly rolled over and joined her love staring at the opened basket in glee. Tove nuzzled Savannah before turning her attention to the cream basket.

"Come out my dear," Tove cooed moving to remove the lid of the basket. The darker brown one began to vibrate taking her attention from the cream.

The lid went flying from the dark brown basket, the little foal inside on her back having kicked at it. The sun hurt her eyes and with a squeak the young filly tried to flip back around flipping the basket on top of her.

Kinak and Nash had been making their rounds to guard the baskets from harm. Other than a raccoon, which Nash scared off, there was nothing to excited the giant.

"Niska we should have little ones," kinak half joked. He did not know if the spirits that granted Savannah and his sister little ones would listen to a Skinwalker and a giant. He heaved a sigh pausing to rest before a long tailed bird almost slammed into him. Volney perched in one of the trees kinak carried on his back.

"Sir giant, I found you," panted the bird, "it is time!" Kinak lit up. He turned and began to canter back to where the baskets were.

"Nishka get the Ace! Little ones!" crowed the giant with Volney in tow.

Nash glanced over at his mate as they walked, raising his brows a bit. "Little ones of our own..?" He paused to think about that for a moment, then nodded slowly. "If you're being serious here... I wouldn't mind that." With a sly, playful smile, he bumped into the other stallion as the other stopped to rest. Just then, Tove's bird familiar showed up - Nash actually noticing it first due to, well. He was a cat and the familiar was a flashy bird. Still, Volney was excited enough that he spoke before the cat could say anything.

At the news, Nash's ears perked forward and he was quick to follow Kinak toward the area where the baskets were being kept. As he ran into the area, he nodded to his mate's instruction to get Ace and detoured slightly to go to the goat. Tilting his head as he thought of a way to wake the other, he grinned suddenly. Then the skinwalker leaned down and slowly licked Ace's head. "Wakey wakey, basket-tiiimmeee~" he purred into the goat's ears.

One of the two paler grey/white baskets was also stirring.
The ground shook slightly as the giant stallion arrived, startling the foal within. With a squeak, he poked his head up in surprise, wondering just what was making all that shaking?! As a result, the lid of his basket flew off,
and a silvery grey head was suddenly visible. The foal looked around, wide-eyed and his gaze almost immediately landed upon the biggest thing in the area -- Kinak. With a shake of his small head, he struggled to get his legs under him, finding that he wanted to get closer to the huge thing and figure out just what it was!

Eventually, Kinak and Nash came to join them as well as the familiars of Tove and Savannah herself. However, Savannah had no eyes for them as one of the baskets tumbled forward-the dark brown one-and the one that was grey in hue burst from the woven womb. Savannah's eyes glittered in amusement until she saw its eyes wandering towards Kinak.

Oh no, they aren't imprinting on someone who is neither myself nor Tove if I have something to do about it. Savannah thought and moved quickly to intersect the two. This one was a colt who possessed a great deal of Tove's traits: her colors, her horns, even two delicate wings. He was precious.

"Hold on there, speedster." She nickered to the colt as she stood in front of him, beaming. "Don't cha wanna meet your mothers first?" She nuzzled her son ( well, wasn't that a thing to say? her son!) affectionately before nosing him towards the other baskets, glancing apologetically behind her at Kinak. The uncles could wait, she just needed to have her family be, well, small for a little bit, instead of a (snort) giant affair.

"C'mon, let's go help your sibling." She encouraged the other, moving towards the dark brown basket and lowering her head towards one of the edges of the basket. "If you can grasp it with your mouth on your side, like I will on this one, we should be able to heave this off of them." It was never too early to learn how to be helpful, Savannah reasoned as she looked fondly at her silver son. "On three... One... two... three!" She gripped the basket in her teeth and with her son's "help" managed to toss the basket bottom off her... daughter! She whinnied happily at the filly inside, only to spy something curious.

"Huh..." She mused, peering closely at the horns that did not look like either Tove's or even Kinak's! Well, she could think on that later. She took to smiling at the filly broadly. "Hello, little one." She smiled. "Welcome to the world!"

The cream basket rustled again and soon a muzzle appeared once more, accompanied by two light blue eyes, much like the ones staring down at her. As the head of the filly inside appeared, she blinked against the sunlight, but her eyes finally focused on the mare that stood in front of her.

The filly's eyes widened in delight at the sight of whom she instinctively knew was her mother (or at least, one of them) and she slowly got up. Her basket was steadily planted on the surface of the ground and so did not wobble when she emerged from her basket. Once she stood outside of it, she stood as gangly-legged as any other foal, newly emerged from their basket, but stood next to her mother with the same grace and elegance as the winter spirit. Her soft Cerynei ears and invisible hooves a clear indication of who she took after, but her colors indicated a relation to both mothers.

Everything was as it should be or would be, once the remaining basket, which the young filly had just now noticed, would pop too. The filly looked up to the grey mare with a curious look before she went to tread over to the remaining basket and nudged it curiously with her nose. Why was this one not yet open? She thought surely she would be the last to arrive and yet there was one more, it seemed, who had beat her to being last. Well, if that were the case, then she wanted to meet them and straight away too! If... If that was alright.

"Who-Wha-HUH?" Snorted Ace as she looked up, blurry eyed. "Baskets? What baskets?" And then everything clicked together and Ace jumped to her hooves, slamming her head (and horns) into Nash's nose. She jerked away in surprise only to look up with something similar to remorse. "Oh, sorry 'bout that, Nash. Thought ya would've learned I don't do well to being woken up before my time."

Looking around at the sight peering through the grasses with the foals having emerged she wiggled excitedly.
"Well, a mighty thanks for waking me up!" She brayed before hurrying over to meet the newly arrived little ones. "Well, I'll be! Is this everyone?"

Tove nuzzled her daughter lovingly ignoring her brother who crashed in on the scene. She nosed the little one's ears which matched her own, good for keeping the cold out. And her hooves were nowhere to be seen, but the imprints they left were not cloven as hers were. She was perfect, a representation of both mothers. Tove followed the young one's curious gaze to the last basket that remained still through all the commotion. Her heart pounded against her ribs. Did something go wrong here? She looked to her brother with pleading eyes.
"Can you help me with the lid brother? I have to know..."

The little dark brown girl found her legs and stood. She growled, a noise much more fitting for Nash than Tove or Savannah, and began to run. Not really seeing where she was running, she plowed into Ace. The little golden horns of the newborn collided with the goat's sending the filly back onto her backside. She blinked a few times, head reeling. Narrowing her eyes at the goat, she found her hooves under her again. She pawed the ground preparing to charge Ace with her smaller horns like baby goats do to headbutt each other.

Kinak grinned at Savannah knowing exactly what happened. And this was her little one.
He should know his mother before his uncle. But Tove broken his happy expression. He looked down at the tiny basket with a frown moving beside his sister.

"You do not think?" he murmured. He sniffed the basket. It didn't smell like death, but it didn't smell right either. Volney fluttered to perch gently on the cream filly to distract her while the adults opened the basket. Kinak grabbed the lid with his teeth gently and pried it off. He gasped through the straw in his mouth. The colt wasn't dead...but it wasn't like anyone standing here and that included Ace.

Pink eyes opened slowly as light struck them. The little soquili inside squealed in protest, a large whale tail slapping against the side of the basket. His hooves were missing like Tove's and he had the family's antlers and aura coloring. But the tail and the pink markings running down his legs were unlike anyone there. He nearly screamed as Kinak tipped his basket forcing him out. He ran to the first safe thing he saw, Savannah, nearly knocking her over by his tail hitting her legs.

Nash yelped and jumped backwards when Ace's head connected with his nose. Eyes watering, he glared at the goat, not sure she really was sincere with that apology of hers. Still, he was avenged by proxy when one of the new foals suddenly rammed into the familiar with tiny horns of her own. The cat's ears swiveled toward the fierce little thing, smiling faintly at the little one's actions.

By the time the grey foal got his legs steady, there was another Soquili in front of him! Between him and the huge thing! What? Why?
He just wanted to see... what it was... Snorting softly in annoyance, he tottered forward, looking at first like he was going to slip past his mother. Then she distracted him with opening the other basket. He helped, sure.
But it seemed only to distract her. As soon as the basket was opened,
he dropped his side of the lid and turned toward Kinak again - small hooves making a bee-line that way.

"Hey, Kinak... I think you have an admirer..." Nash pointed out with a small snicker, nodding toward the grey foal.

The filly was warm out in the sunlight and she looked up pleasantly at the grey mare whom she immediately knew as her mother. She let out a pleased nicker and then turned her gaze up further when her mother left to attend the basket and a flutter-y thing came to rest upon her head. She blinked up at the pretty thing, though it hurt to strain her eyes back so much so she settled on looking around at what was going on around her.

A dark brown filly, a sister she knew instinctively, was charging at someone who was small and orange. The cream filly tilted her head to one side before remembering her companion atop it and quickly righted herself, casting an apologetic look to the feathery thing. Turning her head more, she found a grey colt, a brother, who was approaching a much larger, more formidable stallion of similar hues. Then suddenly there was a rush of movement from behind her and she let out a squeal of surprise when another brother pushed past and sent her stumbling forward, her legs spayed out around her. She snorted delicately, rather than indignantly and looked around her, perplexed.

Everyone had someone bigger with them, but she was given a feathery thing! Of course, she didn't mind the feathery thing, but right now she wanted... she wanted...
"Mamaaa!"

It was no use trying to keep her son in one place, Savannah realized. She sighed as he went back to Kinak and wondered if she perhaps shouldn't have allowed the two larger stallions to join in the witnessing of the basket reveal. They could have met after their own foals got to know them a bit, but family was important and Kinak wouldn't have stood for it anyway. She just hoped that once her grey son found Kinak boring he would trot back to his mothers.

She was going to turn to Tove to nuzzle her mate when suddenly the smack of something smooth and pushy sent her lurching forward, catching herself by rearing back slightly and slamming her front hooves into the ground. She peered over her shoulder at the cause of this commotion and spotted another colt looking up at her with pink eyes. Of course she noticed his tail. How could she not notice it? However, rather than look appalled, Savannah looked thrilled.

"Well!" She nickered happily, straightening and moving over to her paler son, before stooping down to nibble affectionately at his mane between his horns. "The spirits certainly have had fun with our lovelies, haven't they? You, my sweet," She told the colt standing beside her, "Are perfectly lovely." She stayed there, messing around with his mane playfully when a sudden wail broke out and she perked her ears in surprise.

The cream-colored filly was laying on the ground, looking terribly overwhelmed with everything. Savannah couldn't blame her daughter, she was struggling to keep herself from exploding with one form or emotion or another too. Come to think of it, she couldn't keep calling her foals based off how they looked! So, she called everyone together.

"Everyone, kindly come here please. Herd our foals over here, if you happen to be close to one." She laughed and then turned her head to look at Tove. "I think it's about time to name them, don't you?" She asked her mate.

The sudden impact of another creature came as a blow (literally) to Ace. She stumbled back in surprise and then blinked at the foal who dared crash into her. She was about to give the newborn a firm reprimanding when she noticed the horns upon its head. They were smooth and pointed back behind her ears, just like Ace's own were. And to top it off, they were orange-similar to her coat! Why, this foal might very well be part goat, Ace thought in delight!

Well then, wouldn't this be fun! The spirits sure had a thing about including everyone in the family, didn't they? With a merry grin, she lowered her head as well and with an excited 'baa' launched herself forward as soon as she heard the other take off. Horns clashed with horns, but while this foal was taller than her, Ace had the more practice and strength and was able to shove the little one back, gently headbutt her again this time and then she backed off triumphantly.

"You stick with me, m'dear." She crowed. "And I'll teach you how to fight like a proper goat. We'll have our enemies running when they see us coming in no time at all!" She wasn't exactly sure if the filly understood a word of what she was saying, but hopefully her meaning would get across, Ace hoped.

That's when she heard Savannah calling and she looked affectionately at the brown filly. Oh, she was going to love this little one like she was her daughter, rather than her bonded's. Ha! Wouldn't Savannah get a kick out of that?
"C'mon, kid." She told the filly, jerking her head towards Savannah. "Let's go see what the hubbub is about."

Tove was shocked when a colt with a whale's tail burst from the basket kinak flipped over. She tried to get a better look after he zipped behind Savannah. He looked more like her, but something other than the tail was off. But she shook that thought from her head. All their children were wonderful. She beamed for a moment until her cream girl began to cry. Volney hopped around in front of her in a panic thinking he did something to upset her.

"Come on," Tove encouraged helping the foal back to her feet, "I have you now." She nosed her daughter tenderly as Volney returned to her antlers. The winter spirit fussed over her child for a moment more before gently leading her back to the other mom.

Kinak sighed as the grey colt made his feeble way towards him again. He glared at Nash's teasing and took a few steps to plant himself in front if the tiny winged thing.

"Little one what are you doing?" the giant rumbled, "They are your parents. Not me." He gestured to Tove and Savannah with his snout. When the colt didn't leave, Kinak made a frustrated giant noise that was half rumble half groan. He bumped the boy with a leg guiding him to his mothers. Whatever savannah had in mind seemed important so kinak remained a few strides back even with nosing this odd colt back.

The goat met her charge head on! Neighing in excitement, the youngling charged Ace again. It was a fun yet painful game she was determined to win. But Ace had the thicker horns and soon had the darker girl tuckered out and reeling slightly. Ace called her a goat. So that is what she was? A goat? It made sense! Hearing her 'mom' summon her, she stood and pressed herself against the goat's side. She followed her 'mom' to where what she assumed her siblings were gathering. As she passed Nash, she glanced at his swaying...tasty looking tail. With her half developed needle teeth, she chomped down on the appendage quickly spitting it out. Too much fur. With another low growl threatening the tail for looking tastier than it was she raced back to Ace.

The young kelpi giggled and playfully tried to escape the loving toying Savannah did to his mane. He pranced in place before the scary people began to move again. His tail dragging on the ground, he slunk under Savannah in a weak attempt to hide from the big giant, the big cat, and the small deer with big antlers.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 08, 2017 2:27 am

Oh, oh, the big thing was talking to him! This was exciting! Looking up in adoration, the colt had no idea what the stallion was actually saying, just that he was being addressed. He tried to mimic the low tones with his own voice but failed completely, only a few squeaks coming out. Then he was being herded back toward his mothers and he pouted sightly, but went. Spotting the other colt almost immediately, he looked over his brother, and promptly made a low snickering noise of laughter at his weird tail. No one else had a tail like that, where did it come from?!

Nash enjoyed himself at Kinak's expense for about two seconds, until something chomped down on his tail. He yelped, jumping up and to one side, wings flailing. What the..?! Glaring back down, he realized the goat(?)-horned child had bitten him! "Whyyy does one have sharp teeth?" he whined.

The young foal looked up at her mother forlornly, leaning against the slender legs of the grey mare, before getting to her hooves. She stuck close by her side as she was escorted back to her second mother and looked shyly out at the others that crowded near too. It seemed like something important was about to take place, but she had no notion to what it might be.
She just hoped that she wouldn't some how get caught in the middle of it all.

When everyone drew close, Savannah nuzzled her son who cowered beneath her.
"This is your family, dear one." She whispered soothingly to him.
"Just like I am. You want to meet them, don't you?" Then raising her head she smiled at her foals, at Kinak and Nash, at Ace and adoringly at her lovemate. "Tove, dearest. I think it's about time to name our precious jewels, don't you? Now, we discussed this ahead of time when the baskets arrived, so, knowing your consent, it is to this handsome colt," She stepped back a little, showing off the pale and pink colt beneath her. "Whom I give the name Isaak." She nickered.

Ace's chest puffed out and she raised her chin, looking every part the proud mother that Savannah and Tove did. Naturally, she would probably take on the godmother or aunt role, but that didn't keep her from strutting towards the new mothers with the foal at her side.

She paused when the filly passed Nash, leaped at his tail mouth first and bit him. When the other flailed and complained about sharp teeth, Ace took a closer look at the little one in question.
"Hm, no kidding." She mused and then smiled at the filly. "Don't chu worry, kid. I'll show you how to put those chompers to good use." She eyed Kinak mischievously. "One day you might be able to go after even bigger prey..." She said, before nudging the filly over to her mothers again.

Once they were standing closer, Ace stared at the colt with the whale tail,
who Savannah had just dubbed: Isaak. Well, something was certainly amiss there, the goat thought. Not even the weirdo Kinak-or his mate-had a tail like that. However, when she heard the snicker-snorting of the second colt nearby, she let out a low 'maaah'-ing sound at him to get his attention.
"You hush-up n' listen to your mothers now." She said gruffly to the other colt. "Ah won't have any one laughing at any body else, you hear?" She added in a more kindly way. "'sides, you'll want to hear your name, won't ye? You won't hear it over all that noise." Though she was probably making more noise than the colt at this point and her accent, typically unheard, was making an appearance. It did so when she was feeling anything particularly strongly and between the foals and the naming and everything else... Ace was feeling quite emotional.

Tove liked that name for the odd male. Isaak. Thinking hard she glanced down to the little mare at her hip. A warm smile crossed her face.

"My little bright star...I will name you Astrid. And to my other strong son...oh!" She chuckled seeing how he gazed at her brother. She nuzzled Astrid lovingly as she shot her brother a mischievous glance.

"You name him brother. I think he likes you," she chuckled.

Kinak made a low rumbling noise as a sour expression crossed his face.
He looked at the tiny...grey...thing...and huffed. He was seriously bad with names. If it were not for Nash, he wouldn't have remembered what his sister was called for a good long time.

"I knew a healer named Symon. And he needs healing if he thinks I am any kind of parent right now," the giant grunted. He tried keeping his face stern,
but the wiggling foals softened his heart and he couldn't help but to smile.
Tove and Savannah were aglow with motherhood. It made the giant proud of them both.

"That is if you like?" he quickly added looking at Savannah for approval.

Liv was disinterested with all of this and tried her best to slip away to try to chase the bugs she kept seeing fly by. But the goat was in her way. Growling lowly, she attempted to butt the goat out of her way doing nothing more than give herself a bit of a headache.

His name was Isaak. The nice person said so. He tried to say his name a few times getting close but not close enough to sound anything like his name. Pouting his sat, his tail thumping the ground.

Ignoring the adults for now, the soon-to-be-named foal flapped his tiny wings as he charged at the other male foal. Weird-tail should play with him! And what his sister was doing with that goat looked fun. Lowering his head, he butted into Isaak's tail, completely missing his half-brother's body.

"Symon huh? I like it, if my opinion matters any." He winked at the two mothers, head tilting as he watched a couple of the foals trying to play. "You might want to teach those two that they're not really goats, though."

The filly gazed up at her mother with round eyes, blinking long lashes in wonder. Astrid. Astrid. Astrid! Her rear end wiggled and she grinned. So that's what she was! She was an Astrid! She turned to her brother with his tail that floundered about and smiled brightly at him. Isaak! Isaak and Astrid and... She turned her head to her other siblings. The other colt who was standing closest to the largest of the large ones was Symon, but the other...?
She didn't know her sister's name yet. She was sure they would find out soon.

In the meantime, Astrid was content to revel in her name, rub on her mother's legs and then prance over to her brother, Isaak to investigate him further.
She didn't get much investigating done however, before something went careening into her and sent flipped her over, landing her with a thud on her side.

Gasping with wide, appalled eyes, she searched for the source of her blow and found herself gazing up at her brother Symon. Her eyes welled with tears, but she did not cry aloud. Instead, her pretty eyes narrowed and she lurched forward, gathering wobbly legs underneath her as she stood. Standing upright, she stomped on dainty unseeable hooves up to her brother and snorted at him, staring him down. How dare he attack her?! He ought to feel very sorry for himself, she told him in her glare. Then, in a movement of surprising agility, she spun around and decided to have nothing more to do with him until he gave her some sort of apology.

Savannah nodded at her love mate encouragingly, smiling at Tove. So one of their daughters was to be named Astrid, hm? She liked the sound it made as it rolled off Tove's tongue and she gazed affectionately upon her entire family, brother-in-spirit and Nash included. She then looked up to Kinak with a critical gaze as he named her son, Symon.

She paused at his inquiry and then nodded.
"Symon is an excellent name." Savannah declared and turned to look at the colt. She was going to suggest that Ace name their final foal and daughter, when suddenly there was a commotion. Symon had ducked his head, much like she saw Ace do and rush at Isaak. Yet, the silver colt ended up missing his brother and running head first into little Astrid's side. Savannah let out a shrill cry of alarm as her daughter fell. The sound that the filly made when she hit the ground made Savannah's stomach clench as she started to move to her daughter, but Astrid was standing again. Astrid shook as she walked forward, but there was a fierce determination in her eyes as she approached her brother and stared him down, only to turn away with a grace that Savannah knew the filly had inherited from Tove.

"Isaak, dear," She told her son. "Kindly go stand with your mother and sister, Astrid." She didn't want him to follow her, for fear of Symon trying to charge him again and then approached Symon, lowering her muzzle and nudging his shoulder with her nose, a gentle reprimand.

"That wasn't very nice, Symon. It was very fortunate that Astrid didn't get hurt, but it would have been very bad if she had been. You musn't go around charging at others like that," She paused and added, "Without their permission. Even Ace," She nodded to the goat who tipped her head at the two of them before focusing on the horned foal. "Will tell you that she always checks with her companions and family before headbutting them."

Savannah nuzzled her colt more gently this time and then nudged him in the direction of his pale sister.
"Now, I want you to go over to Astrid and Isaak and apologize. Say 'sorry' to them. They both deserve it, since Isaak was your target, yet Astrid was the one that got hit. Come on, I'll go with you." She nosed him in the direction of his siblings and as they started walking, she turned to Ace. "Ace, dear,
why don't you name our daughter? I trust you to give her a strong, noble name.
" She told her familiar, who beamed back at her, before Savannah turned back to survey the apology at hoof.

Ace looked to each of the foals as they were named. Astrid, the pale filly with invisible, starlit hooves. Symon, the courageous,
affectionate colt. Isaak, the one that wasn't like any of them, yet was perfect in his own way too. Then, there was the goat-filly, whom Ace had become increasingly attached to. She was anticipating the name of the horned foal,
when a commotion broke out among the other three siblings and it was around the same time that the filly tried and failed to headbutt her again.

"Stop that, you." She snorted at the brown thing. "Headbutting is well and good, but you must mind yourself, my dear, when it is time to do such,
like in this instant.
" She told the brown filly who had yet to be named."For example, when you are told you may play or if you are protecting your loved ones, you can headbutt to your heart's content, so long as you have the consent-or permission-of the one you are headbutting. Assuming they're folks you know. Headbutt strangers if you so desire." Ace went on. "However,
if you do not mind yourself or your manners when others are talking and you ought to be listening, or worse,
" She stepped back so that the filly could see the trouble that had happened with Symon and the family, "If you headbutt someone who does not want to be headbutted, then that will get you into considerable trouble. Take it from someone who knows."

It was then that she caught Savannah's gaze and nodded her head to the new mother and her son. She was turning her head back to the filly when Savannah called her name and suggested she name the brown filly. Name her? Ace? She blinked in surprise and then grinned widely before turning her gaze onto the filly.

"Hm..." She hummed as she stared at the filly. With all her bouncing around, she was certainly a lively sort, so she needed a lively name! It was with this thought that Ace's ears flapped with her idea.

"You, little 'un," She said, sticking her nose close to the filly's, "Shall be called Liv! On account of your lively nature! Make me proud, Liv!"
She told the other and then scooted back a few paces and ducked her head,
prepping herself for the blow that she would meet, literally head on. "Come on then, lemme see what you've got!"

Tove snorted quietly as two of her children crowded to her, Isaak doing his best to get under her as he did Savannah. She shot an odd glance at her brother, who was busy scraping his antlers against a tree as if they itched. Oh boy, Symon was already taking after him. Maybe that basket was destined to the boys? But Symon lacked Kinak's size and Nash's well....anything...

"Brother if you are going to be around the kids you better be on your best behavior. Or else," she lightly threatened him. He glanced at her and couldn't hide his shudder. She knew he feared Ace. All his posturing around the goat made it painfully clear. He glanced at Symon as he sulked towards her. "Savannah is right. Apologize to Astrid." It wasn't a question, Tove showing the part of her that was a fierce mother.

Kinak looked up from scratching in between his antlers with a shiver. His sister threatened him with Ace. His legs ached as if remembering the goat's horns. For such a small creature, Ace was fast and her horns had a punch to them. He moved to Nash and sat awkwardly with his back to the foals.

"I know. Nishka and I will be our best," he pouted.

Liv huffed watching the giant fall into a sit. She turned her back to Ace and sat in the same fashion. She did not like being scolded, no sir. The goat called her Liv. It wasn't as pretty sounding as the others, but that was ok. She liked Liv. It was simple to hear. Simple to understand. But being told not to headbutt and then to headbutt? She had gotten lost and was now pouting just like her uncle.

Her eyes narrowed on Nash. Maybe he would headbutt? But a more predatory nature inside of her told her he needed to be headbutt to show him who is boss. Taking a few minutes to find her hooves again, she stalked towards Nash trying to keep hidden. The closer she got to cat smell, the more her lips peeled back to flash small kalona fangs. Yes, he would love to headbutt with her. But...there was his tail again. And she couldn't help it. Her sharp teeth found his tailtip again. But this time she didn't let go.

Isaak made every protesting noise his throat could muster as his momma nudged him towards scary antler lady. But as soon as he hid under Tove, she stopped being scary. She was smaller than momma and he had a bit of a struggle getting where he was, but she was warm. He liked scary antler lady. But his tail hurt. Symon had stomped on it running over Astrid. He stared the colt down with narrow eyes. He would tail slap him if he came too close again. He was mean. His tail tensed visibly and swayed with antcipation.
